I grabbed a beer from here and then walked it over and took it into Bourbon Street Bar & Grill for dinner. I thought it was cool I could do that. I guess they have the same owners. After dinner my family all came over to have some of their world famous Old Fashions. We sat in the back at their big table, drank Old Fashions, and played games. Our waitress was very nice and helpful. We probably tried all the Old Fashions. We even tried them smoked. We've not had them smoked the way they did them. They smoke the glass and ice, then they pour the Old Fashioned into the cup. Yummy.

They have an extensive menu of different takes on an old-fashioned, I ordered the classic. You can order off the menu from the restaurant next door and they'll bring it right to you. True to its name, the establishment is on the corner of a small shopping center with a large covered patio and outdoor fireplace before the entrance. I liked the twinkle lights and the digital display with a carousel of snarky quotes and jokes. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable - an ideal place to chill out for a bit.

The bartenders pour well, and it never takes long to get a drink. I like the Friday night Dj - he plays like a mix of music from the last 10-12 years - a good blend. The Saturday night one plays older stuff, and its not really my vibe. You'll be able to tell the difference in the crowd when you visit on a Friday vs a Saturday as well. Friday nights are my favorite night to go though! The only thing I wish is that they had a mini menu for food! They don't mind if you bring your own or have something delivered, but sometimes you wanna patronize the establishment! See ya'll soon. Xoxo.

No and walked away at that! I kid you not. And guess what she did not make me my drink nor send another bartender my way. Once I finally get my tequila sunrise with a splash of cranberry it's so disappointing. My drink was pure trash. The service was absolutely horrible. Two bartenders on a Friday not. My date was gone so long he joked about me leaving. Yea definitely don't recommend this place at all.

I don't think that is a bad thing, it is my favorite cream cheese. It is just different. It comes with chips or waffle fries and salsa. I will say, their salsa is terrible. I do really like their grilled chicken avocado sandwich. It comes with two huge pieces of bacon on it, that I have to cut up and redistribute, but it is a tasty sandwich. I get it without ranch, I don't think it needs it. Their fries are crispy and salty, and hit the spot. They have a nice happy hour and the service has always been good. The restaurant is clean. My only real complaint is, they don't have little tables. Especially in the bar area. If I pop in by myself to get some work done and grab lunch, I either have to take up a giant table or sit at the bar. The patio is small and open to the west, so it can get really hot in the Texas sun.

In addition to the food, they offer gluten-free beers and cider. Service was excellent and our server was knowledgeable about food preparation (in terms of allergies). The food is good but I find it extremely rich. The onion rings are fried in a thick batter. The gluten-free gravy tastes amazingly like "regular" gravy. It's really nice to have multiple gluten-free dessert options, even if we rarely have room for dessert. I recommend that you make reservations for holidays when they have specials or if you think it would be busy (ex: St. Patrick's Day). After this visit, I did get extremely sick for about 24 hours after eating here. It might have been the richness of the food not agreeing with me or it might have been something else.
