He was super helpful and even let us try different dressings for our salads. There was this super anal retentive Mario that was a server also....his section was geometrically perfect, totally fung Shuy'd out and precise to the millimeter. You could look down the rows of tables and they all were in a row and perfect. Because why not, I moved a tent out of line. For payback, I asked for a short beer and got this. Love it and touche.

Granted, it was first a recommendation by a family member who took a liking to Lazy Dog's food, so I decided to give it a try with my stepdad today. I enjoy their large variety of food options. Their menu ranged from pasta to seafood, including a few selections of fish; I ordered the Grilled Idaho Trout and requested the green beans be switched to broccoli. The food was great; portions were large and I especially took an unexpected liking to their potatoes and french fries. I wished I tried their Truffle Fries as I really like Truffle, but I suppose I'll save that for my next visit. Service was OK, nothing spectacular or memorable. Environment was clean and comfortable with plenty of seating indoors as well. Overall, a decent enough experience for me to come back with family.

I don't think that is a bad thing, it is my favorite cream cheese. It is just different. It comes with chips or waffle fries and salsa. I will say, their salsa is terrible. I do really like their grilled chicken avocado sandwich. It comes with two huge pieces of bacon on it, that I have to cut up and redistribute, but it is a tasty sandwich. I get it without ranch, I don't think it needs it. Their fries are crispy and salty, and hit the spot. They have a nice happy hour and the service has always been good. The restaurant is clean. My only real complaint is, they don't have little tables. Especially in the bar area. If I pop in by myself to get some work done and grab lunch, I either have to take up a giant table or sit at the bar. The patio is small and open to the west, so it can get really hot in the Texas sun.

DFW is massive. My friend was 30 mins late, but I wasn't trippin. I used that time to charge my phone and get a little work done. We didn't have a resy, but were seated right away. First of all, this place is massive. We both started with the espresso martini before realizing they had a happy hour menu. Our second drink was from the hh menu even though we had no business having a second cocktail. To start, we shared the fried green tomatoes. For whatever reason, we both ended up getting the western burger. Food was great. There was so much of it that I was only able to finish half and ended up taking the rest home. Great service as well. The place was crowded by the time we left. We only planned to stay for 45 minutes, but ended up staying for nearly 2 hours. Big thanks to the bartender. I went back to the airport a little tipsy after 2 drinks.

Clearly a popular spot. We shared an appetizer, a steak, sides, and a dessert between us 3. - Fried Tomatoes (appetizer): not bad! Light, not greasy at all, and that savory sauce on top was yummy: - Wagyu Tomahawk: the star of the show. Loved the peppered crust which was full of flavor. Not a true "Japanese wagyu" texture, but still an excellent steak overall. - Sides (mashed potatoes, fries, broccolini, cornbread): All pretty good across the board. I liked the cornbread the most and wished there was more of it. Usually a side of cornbread is much more substantial and comes with honey butter. - Steak sauce: we ask for a side of this. Whatever they had was unique and great. Fruity and tangy, a great complement to the tomahawk. - Pecan Pie: look at the photo! A huge, tall slice. No notes. Loved the dense ice cream on top. Perfect way to end the meal. Overall: no critiques, just an all-around great dinner. Definitely recommend the tomahawk and pie.

I was talking to some other customers who had ordered other items off the menu (they have a very good variety) and they all said the same thing that everything was very tasty! Was glad to see them busy but it was off putting that she couldn't have finished up our transaction before taking another order. They tried charging me $26 before tip cause as the guy at the check out said "toppings were $2 extra each" I pointed out that coupon said a 3 topping pizza & wings for $18.99 and I only picked 3 toppings so it should be 18.99 plus tax and then tip. After those two times we're just going to let other people enjoy them as we always seem to come at a bad time.

While other servers seemed more focused on socializing with regulars than doing their jobs, Taylor stood out immediately. She stayed engaged, checked in at the right times, and made sure everything was handled without needing to be asked twice. That's not luck--that's professionalism. She brings a mix of intelligence and humor that makes the experience better without being forced or over the top. More importantly, she executes. Orders are right, timing is right, and the overall experience feels intentional--not neglected. If you're going to Rowdy Cowboy, don't leave it to chance. Ask for Taylor by name. My Overall Rating - 3 1/2 Stars (5 Stars if you only care about service) Atmosphere - It's pretty electric. There is a large bar in the middle, tons of bar seating, and during my Thursday visit for lunch, it was packed. The vibes are good, and tons of TVs are showing sports. If you have an XY chromosome, this is your place. 1 Star. Service - Rowdy Cowboy is known for having great servers who are very friendly (and nice to look at). All tables were taken, so I sat at the bar. The bartenders were fast, efficient, and very friendly. They got my order wrong, but I don't care. Their friendliness made me not care. 1 Star. Food - Look, if you're here, you're not here for the food. I started with the Steak Frites. The steak was super tender but lacked seasoning. The shoestring fries were awesome and made the perfect pairing to the steak. I ordered the Brisket Sliders but ended up with Wagyu Sliders. I didn't mind because our bartenders were so friendly, but the sliders were just ok. Remember, this place is not known for the food. 1/2 Star. Will I Return? - Yes. Rowdy Cowboy knows exactly what it does well, and believe me it does it well. In fact, out of all the restaurants in this genre, Rowdy Cowboy has the friendliest staff. Yes, I will be back. 1 Star.
