My friend introduced me to 54th Street. She is a super fan of their gringo dip. It is their version of queso, and it reminds me of Philadelphia veggie cream cheese. I don't think that is a bad thing, it is my favorite cream cheese. It is just different. It comes with chips or waffle fries and salsa. I will say, their salsa is terrible. I do really like their grilled chicken avocado sandwich. It comes with two huge pieces of bacon on it, that I have to cut up and redistribute, but it is a tasty sandwich. I get it without ranch, I don't think it needs it. Their fries are crispy and salty, and hit the spot. They have a nice happy hour and the service has always been good. The restaurant is clean. My only real complaint is, they don't have little tables. Especially in the bar area. If I pop in by myself to get some work done and grab lunch, I either have to take up a giant table or sit at the bar. We stopped by this spot for lunch and I went for the classic burger and fries combo. The burger? Absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries were on point too, crispy and cooked just the way I like them! The Lemonade was also delicious...a good balance of tart and sweet. This is a go to spot for work lunches for us. One of the menu items that surprised me the most were the wings. They are so damn good!! I also really enjoy their appetizers, the fat ol tater kegs, and the Brussels are also super yummy. I've gotten the Philly, burgers and the Havana sandwhich and they've all been really decent. No complaints. Good spot and more elevated than other chains. Also shout out to the service. The Euless location has a bartender that always is extremely attentive and picks up our vibe well. We got seated right away and we had a nice server in training. We ordered the special dinner for 2 for $40 and 2 cocktails. Service was fast and we enjoyed the chips and queso/salsa. Had 54th street for lunch at the office. Really enjoyed my chicken bacon avocado sandwich. I liked that they packed everything separately so nothing got soggy. The avocado was mashed to a perfect consistency. I got the steamed broccoli as my side and it was salted and steamed perfectly. Can't wait to try some of the other things here! read more

Definitely a sports bar. The food is overpriced and the atmosphere is cool. The decorations make up for it. Loud but decent.

Unfortunately this isn't going to be one of my happier posts. I brought my Dad here for Father's Day and it was super disappointing. When his plate came out everything was cold. Not lukewarm or slightly dry, completely cold. The chicken fried steak itself was dry and super rubbery. Our server was very nice and she said she'd fix it right away and went to go replace the sides. The manager came out to ask us if there was anything else they could do, but realistically there wasn't anything outside of replacing the food that we would ask for at the time. This was the only thing my dad had to eat all day, so he powered through the chicken fried steak but absolutely could not get through the sides. I'm not naive and know that restaurants microwave food, but it is appreciated when it isn't obvious. The replacement sides came in piping hot plates and were still bubbling. The waitress let us know they made them "fresh" and that wasn't the truth, so why say that? There was no follow up after that and we didn't really feel like the situation was fixed or addressed. Flavor was lacking and we ended up paying full price for everything. I don't expect free food at all, but even like a small gesture would've been appreciated given that it was Father's Day with an obviously disappointed father... I genuinely can't find it in me to come back or recommend this location. I don't want to disappoint my father again! read more

We haveaten here several times and at the one Valley Ranch. Though very similar, we feel this one is better! We agree it is good value, for what you get, but not cheap. The restaurant is a little darker than a typical, inside. However, there are many windows which let in lots of light.. The walls are covered with memorabilia from different places and time.., as well as advertising for drinks and beer. Definitely a slightly upscale, casual dining! Saturday at 5:45 and no wait for a table of 5, a little surprised it wasn't busier. However, by 6:15 the place was really filling up! Misty did a great job, keep our drinks full and made sure all was to our liking! Misty is one of the best waitperson I had in a long time! Started with the Gringo Dip (pic included). The chips, sauces and cheese dip were excellent! Both the salsa and the white cheese dip had just the right amount of bite! We got the Lieutenant Dan shrimp with upgraded sides of onion rings and loaded baked potato. Good portion of grilled shrimp. The onion rings were nothing special, typical chain restaurant onion rings. And the loaded baked potato wasn't loaded. Al in all, still 5 stars overall! I fear that I will be removing 54 from my list of tried and trues. Two weeks ago my son and I dined on the patio because the weather was beautiful but the service was so bad. It wasn't very busy yet we barely saw our server, and she served us table water in a broken glass bottle with a chunk out of the top. My son ordered a steak medium and it was bloody. We didn't send anything back or complain because our server never came back to the table. I had to flag down someone else for utensils bcz a food runner brought our food out but we had nothing to eat with. My son made me promise that we wouldn't go back for a long while. read more

I've had 54th Street several times, but that was during the pandemic. This was my first time visiting the restaurant, I had no idea it was a hot spot on the weekends. The hostess was pleasant and promptly seated us at our table, which was great for a busy Friday night. Alicia D, our waitress, was wonderful! She was very attentive, a great conversationalist, and had several suggestions about some of the menu items and drinks. I chose the cheeseburger (bacon) with garlic aioli and the Gringo Dip waffle fries. I really enjoyed the burger, I felt like the fixings made up for the lack of seasoning in the meat. Make sure to order extra aioli on the side, if you choose this burger. The Gringo Dip w/ waffle fries, you can't go wrong with the two. Lemon Drop Martini - Perfectly made, it was spot on! Tator Kegs - I now understand that hype, they're very good. I loved the look of the restaurant and the bar area, but it also seemed to be a bit too busy when it comes to the space. There has been several times that I have come here for lunch, but this is my first time posting anything for this place. The of my server was Ms. Mak, who was very kind, warm and very welcoming. I order the all you can eat soup (tortilla) and salad (summer salad). I never had their colossal carrot cake to go so I could take it home and enjoy it with coffee. This post is about the coffee... but first, let me give credit where it's due. Emma, our server, was amazing calm, kind, and handled everything like a pro. The kitchen staff also did their thing my salmon and Caesar salad were both spot on. Now... about the coffee. I used to come to 54th Street all the time, and one of my favorite parts of the visit was the coffee. It was legitimately better than most coffee shops even better than Starbucks. Rich, smooth, and full of flavor. I looked forward to it every time. But today? Total letdown. The coffee tasted flat, bitter, and nothing like it used to. I asked and found out they switched to Starbucks single-serve K-Cups. And listen I drink coffee everywhere I go, and I can say with full confidence: Starbucks doesn't come close to what 54th Street used to serve. I'm really hoping they reconsider and bring the old coffee back. It was one of the little things that made this place special and replacing it with Starbucks is a serious downgrade. read more

I've been coming to 54th Street for years, and then they built one closer to me. I've had nothing but great service here!! Tonight we had John Houston as our server, he's fantastic. Attentive, personable, never left us with empty glasses, gave my friend and sister great suggestions on what to order. I typically get the chicken fried chicken, their gravy is creamy and buttery and is basically the alfredo of gravies. lol Today I decided to try something different. I had the Blackened Chicken Buccatini, which is basically a mushroom alfredo with a side of asparagus/broccoli/mushrooms and it's so good! The garlic bread is amaaaazing. My friend ended up taking John's advice and getting the Rattlesnake pasta. I tried it, it was spicy and extremely flavorful and I would order it in a heartbeat. My sister got the chicken fried steak and I got to have a little of her mashed potatoes and gravy... heaven. I will 100% come back here, soon, and will definitely ask for John because he's just a really great server. read more

My wife and I had dinner here after the movies, and we were able to get on the waiting list B4 leaving the theater, and when we got there, we were seated right away. I had a mango margarita, which was a good size but it was light on the tequila. For entrée I had the rattlesnake pasta, and it was really good with a good spicy kick. It also came with some good garlic bread. It was a good size portion and very filling. The restaurant itself was a little loud but had a great atmosphere and was fun to be in. Friend suggested this place and glad we stopped. Sat at the bar around 8:45 pm and ordered a Yeungling on tap. Had a bit of a funk to it but I haven't tried it in awhile so just assumed it was me. Pleasantly surprised to learn that it was Happy Hour at 9 pm so we decided to wait it out a whole 15 minutes before we ordered. Got the gringo queso and waffle fries, calamari, boneless wings, crab cakes, and spinach/artichoke dip. Everything was pretty on point!! My fave were the Buffalo boneless wings, they were fabulous!! Tried a couple of tasters of other beers on tap and they all also had this weird funk to it. Not sure what that was all about. Decided to stick with the food and called it a night. This is a restaurant with a vast menu that will appeal to most. The location is convenient to Hwy 121 hours n the Mid Cities area. That said, the vegetarian options were very limited and my server was unable to recommend options and modifications beyond the burger. I ordered the grain bowl without protein since all proteins on the menu were animal based. My bowl was tasty but very small. I was still hungry after eating. I typically can finish only 1/2 of my meal when I go out to eat. I ate the whole bowl. When my check arrived, I was charged the same price as if I had the chicken in my bowl. This was our first visit to any of the 54th Street locations but would not be our last. We were VERY impressed. We loved it and there is SO much to look at in the interior, so much fun stuff. We were out running errands and hadn't eaten. There were a plethora opportunities to chose from. I suggested 54th Street since it had been on my "radar" for quite a while and we weren't disappointed. Since it was early afternoon, there was no crowd at all and of course no wait. We were seated immediately and our server took our drink order. The menu is quite extensive so it took a bit to look over everything and make our decisions. My wife decided on the chicken finger appetizer and I chose the "Rattlesnake Pasta" since I love spicy entrées especially with chicken and shrimp combined. I ordered a side salad with Bleu Cheese dressing to much on beforehand. The dressing was spectacular. I read on the menu that all dressings, sauces, etc. were made in-house on a daily basis. After a short wait, our entrees were delivered to our table. My pasta entrée was delicious and had great "bite" to it with a lot of chili powder to spice it up. There was a ton of chicken and shrimp in the dish. The sauce was so delicious. It was accompanied with garlic bread. My wife said her chicken fingers and fries were also very good. But the highlight of our visit was the gravy that was served with my wife's chicken fingers. It was some of the best cream gravy I'd ever tasted. Oh my good, I kept dipping my garlic bread in it. Our server took excellent care of us throughout our visit. Normally in the slow afternoons or times at restaurants, service sometimes lacks, but not time time. Without hovering, our server ensured all our needs were addressed while at the restaurant. We'll definitely be back REAL soon. read more

What great food and a great experience coming here! This place felt like a blend between Chili's, McAllister's and BJ's. If you're fond of any of those, I think you'll dig 54th street. Casual deliciousness with a touch of class! The great experience is big thanks to our waitress, Kasey! If you have the blessing of having Kasey as your waitress on a weekday, you'll know what I mean! From start to finish she was hospitable, kind and accommodating. Came here for lunch with some teacher friends, one of which I had been here once before. Well Kasey remembered her, all she liked, and how she ordered as if she was a regular! I was impressed. She also made some solid recommendations from the menu. I ordered the rocket q minus the swine. The gouda cheese and jalapeño coins were nice touches and that barbecue sauce needs to be sold in a bottle, honey! Hmm...maybe it is!! I seriously could have drank it lol You know it's good when you're craving it the next day! I might have to return or place a to-go order soon. My only minor complaint is that our food was on the lukewarm side when it came out. Being that we all had a side of chicken tortilla soup as well, that was underwhelming. Kasey took care of us though, and was happy to reheat it. I wish I snapped a picture, but something I found unique were the raised platforms under all the high tables for resting your feet. No dangling feet or resting on a flimsy bar. Genius! They do have a reward point system that can score you some freebies as you collect and redeem. We usually go to the 54 in Irving but it shut down...We have been to the Euless store a couple times and was good....I decide to take my Daughter and Son in Law out for their Anniversary.. The whole expierience was TERRIBLE....Daughters meal came ou 2 times wrong, my Wifes Chicken Fried Steak was so tough you couldn't eat and waited 10 mIns for a Beer that got to the Table Warm from sitting waiting to be picked up....I was so dissapointed.. I am 66yrs old and have MAYBE 4 times complained about a meal, this being the 4th. I messaged the Restaurant and got a Reply saying they were Sorry about what happened and to come in and give them another chance instead of waiting for a Compensation by Email... We finally got everyone together to try Again and sent the Manager a message telling them we would come in........I asked what should we expect from our REDO and was informed they will cover a Appitizer and a meal..UP TO $30......Well I spent just under $130 that night for a Bad Time....so I just said nevermind, that isnt worth my time to come back and we will just try Chili's Probably be a LONG TIME or maybe NEVER before we go back... I love the variety on the menu at 54th Street, there is always something delicous to catch my eye! We hadn't been back to this location since right after they opened, and popped in for a quick bite. It was still happy hour, so we got some great deals on bar bites and had a little variety with our dinner. I got the Summer Chicken Salad with the crab cakes, my husband got the buffalo wings with macaroni and cheese, and we got the Tequila Wrappers to start. Everything was pretty darn awesome, with the wrappers being the clear stand-out. They reminded me of the southwest eggrolls from that "other place" and how good they used to about, say, 10 years ago. Packed with flavor, crunchy, and with a cooling dip to top it off. The crab cakes were probably the least good item. Not to say they were bad, but they could be improved. They really lacked a good, crisp outside where they were grilled in a pan. The service was good and attentive, we left happy campers. Will definitely be back for those tequila wrappers! read more

So we finally were able to come check this place out.  It was very covid friendly, everyone wearing a mask and gloves, safe distance between the tables. I ordered the catfish with brussle sprouts and the adult mac and cheese - OMG the fish was soo fresh and flaky and cooked to perfection, the brussle sprouts my God it had a bunch of new flavors and something I never had before but it was awsome, and I soooooo recommend it!  The mac and cheese was very very good! Went in today to have dinner and ordered what we usually do. Spouse ordered the French dip which is always great. The sandwich this time came out cold so sent it back to get a hot one 25 mins goes by no server in sight her name was Allison and no refills on our drinks the whole time. Finally it shows up and I was already done with my dinner. Manager came by (I would use that word loosely) taller guy with glasses never said his name not well put together at all. Told him what happened immediately he came off defensive and pretty much made us feel like it's our fault the meal was cold when it was served. He asked what he could do and we said just take it off our bill. The manager snatched and I mean snatched the food and whisks it away. I was dumbfounded by this mind you we never are looking for a free meal. A couple minutes later the server comes for me to pay my check told her what happened and she said I am sorry. Then this so called manager comes by again and says no it's our policy not to comp food. Never have heard this from any restaurant ever when it was their fault they ruined our dinner. I work in a higher management and I would have fired this guy for the way he treated us. I won't be stepping foot in this place again and will make sure my company never does catering with them again read more

My family and I came here to eat an early dinner. We were greeted immediately upon entry and only waited a few minutes while they prepared a table for us. Our waiter was AMAZING. He took our orders and had everything out in a timely manner. He was very attentive, polite and friendly. Our drinks were never empty. Our food tasted great and was the perfect temperature.
