They seated us and my daughter went to use the restroom after the meal, and the server asked us to vacate the table because they had another group that wanted to sit there. Not an elegant dining place but if you want a fun place to eat some bar food, have cheap drinks, and watch sports, this is your place in Downtown Little Rock. The happy hour here runs from 11-7pm and there's some great values to have. $4 Tito's or Captain Morgan to start. This is in addition to the daily specials they offer. I had a smash burger with broccoli and it was pretty good for a sports bar. Many options to choose from on the menu. We only had the bartender who waited our table and she was witty and fun and easy to just have fun with. She definitely provided some good recommendations and a lot of humor along the way. My friends and I were going to check out this place for dinner, drinks and karaoke last night 1/26/24. One of the couples with us had been there twice before for karaoke, which they have Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. It was cold and rainy last night, and we had to walk out of our way to go, but it's the only place in downtown Little Rock to find karaoke on Fridays, since Dam Goode Pie closed down the place near the water here a few years back. We didn't feel like driving far or taking Uber. Anyway, we went to go in, and they stopped us because they were charging $5 per person cover charge! This is crazy. First of all, most places with karaoke don't charge a cover charge. "Oh, we want you to provide the free entertainment, but we're going to charge you...?" Naw. No thanks. We left and went somewhere better to eat (but had no karaoke, so we were all very disappointed). They lost a lot of our money because they did that. There are posters on their Facebook page, as well as on the group called "KARAOKE SHOWS - CENTRAL ARKANSAS", advertising drink specials, karaoke and dancing. Not one of them mentioned a cover charge. My friends who had previously visited said they were never charged a cover before. When she posted a polite complaint on their Facebook, they blocked her and deleted it. This is not how you treat customers! Shame on Brewski's. I want to also point out that the place already looked crowded, so there was no need for a cover charge, anyway. I'm sure most people there were eating and/or drinking. However, if you don't think they are, then charge a two-drink minimum. That is a lot more reasonable. Also, my friend had made the same complaint on the KARAOKE SHOWS - CENTRAL ARKANSAS group, and they (the KJ?) tried to claim that they've always had a cover on the weekends (which we know is not true) and that it's mainly for the dance floor downstairs. If that's the case, then you should be taking in the cover charge downstairs. Or get a stamp and ask people if they're just here for karaoke or planning to dance. Have a cover charge, then, only if they're dancing, and give them a stamp, which you can then easily check before they enter the dance area. This "restaurant/bar" is poorly run and clearly doesn't mind alienating their customers. We will never go back. You shouldn't, either (unless they get rid of the cover charge). read more

Once me and my homie made it to town, we dropped our things off at the hotel and the staff mentioned Brewski's would be a great place to grab lunch and some drinks. They were correct!!! We had a great time @ Brewski's as we had a great server by the name of Kyla. She was very helpful and gave us her favorites from the menu. I had quite a few Cpt Morgan & ginger ale cocktails and since I was hungry, I got The Free Bird which was a grilled chicken sandwich along with bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and honey mustard on a brioche bun along with fries. this spot definitely seemed like the place to be for happy hour and I am glad we got the recommendation to slide over. read more

Last night, I was put out of the bar because I told the bartender that it was nasty and unprofessional for allowing customers to reach and grab their own straws with their bare, unsanitary hands! My friend asked the bartender for another straw for her drink and he told her to get it herself. When I started to complain, he told me "well you can go home." and when I started to explain to him why his decisions were poor, he had the security put me out. Mind you, its a warm day and supposed to be considered a sports bar so i thought this should be acceptable dress attire. Started off as a great visit, met some amazing folks, and had a decent time. The problem arose when we left, and the wait staff attempted to double bill us , citing: they have seperate Points of Sale /Tabs for food and drink.... At a bar. That's a tell tale sign laundering is probably occurring. Then upon leaving and reprising the system, I was confronted by a "managerial" type woman who threatened to "beat my ass" (lol) over my comments. It was at this time that I knew that this place was a total shit show, and ran by an angry little Karen. I wouldn't advise going here when there are much safer and more kinder places.
