Food was delicious and service was outstanding. We had an excellent meal and experience. They lowered the lighting around 6:30 and it made everything feel so cozy!

Capital Hotel Bar & Grill never disappoints--amazing cocktails, excellent dishes, and the pimento cheese and spiced pecans are must-order starters. You truly can't go wrong with any entrée. Always a favorite!

The drinks are perfection! Steven and Christine make the most amazing drinks and are true masters of their craft and are always down to try your special request. This evening we ate the Cheese & Sausage Board and the Empanadas. They were delicious!

We stayed at the capital hotel so decided to dine in here. My mom had been here before and loved it. We were very disappointed with this last visit. My tab was $70 for a chicken Caesar salad, a house gin and tonic and a chocolate martini. I wouldn't have gone here to begin with because look at their menu --- not a lot of options and just simple bar food. The place itself was small one room and a bar. Service was okay -- my salad was so small it looked like a kids meal.

The food was excellent and the staff was very polite and friendly. I just wish they still had the Ribeye on the menu.

An upscale bar and grill restaurant located in the 5-star Capital Hotel. They do accept walk-in non-hotel guests. Service was attentive and friendly, but noise level could be very high, especially if there is a bunch of people in suits and office dresses who just got off work from nearby downtown. Ordered a slider appetizer and the braised short rib entree with broccolini on the side. Slider appetizer: the portion is quite large for a slider, 2-3 bites to finish one, enough as an entree for some people. Sliders were done excellently, all the meat were hot and juicy, seasoning was perfect, buns not too soggy. A beautiful appetizer for meat lover. Braised short ribs: boneless short rib meat. The portion was said to be 6oz, but I suspect it was actually 8-10 oz, as the meat packed quite some size and bite. The doneness was a bit over for my taste, a bit too dry, but seasoning was good, the sauce elevated the beefy taste, and the surface was crispy. Mashed potato and sweet carrots went well with the sauce. The biggest miss was the broccolini. I don't mind a bit soft, but the broccolini tonight was bland and soggy with the texture of marsh mallow. The waiter was kind enough to have taken that off my bill. I would rather have more sweet carrots than the unpleasant broccolini. Overall: I would say 3.5-4 stars. A bit pricey given the fact that it is a 5-star-hotel attachment. A few misses (including a big one) with the food, but some pleasant dishes as well. Service was enjoyable.

Picked back left pimento cheese with house made soda crackers, HABANERO FIREBALLS, GRILLED LAMB LOLLIPOPS and a cup The Gumbo. A

You wouldn't think a restaurant in a Hotel would be so good. But, Capital Bar and Grill checks all the boxes. My husband and I decided to get several appetizers to try for our first visit. Every thing was great. Check them out. You will not be disappointed.

It felt like we were catching up with an old friend, even though we'd only met him once--more than a year ago. Everyone was incredibly kind, from the hostesses to the manager to our phenomenal server. For our entrées, we chose the chicken and the halibut, and both were absolutely outstanding. The biggest surprise, though, was the sweet potatoes! Randy explained how they're prepared, and let's just say it's far beyond my kitchen skills--which means I'll definitely be back for them. We ended the meal with the blueberry bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream, and it was the perfect finish. Paired with the delicious cocktail Randy recommended, I was in heaven. I live more than 2 1/2 hours away, but anytime I'm in town, this will absolutely be my go-to restaurant. Outstanding food, exceptional service, and an experience that's well worth the drive.

Unfortunately, the bartender seemed to have no sense of urgency. Instead of checking in with us, she spent an extended period chatting with the departing patrons who had already closed out. Meanwhile, a manager was standing at the end of the bar the whole time, seemingly aimless, and never stepped in to redirect her or check on us despite how obvious the situation was. After several minutes with no drinks and no acknowledgment, I had to walk over to the hostess stand myself just to get a menu. Twenty minutes in, we still hadn't received our drinks, so we told her to cancel the order and let her know we were leaving. She genuinely seemed surprised when we explained how long we'd been waiting, which was surprising in itself given she was the one who left us sitting there -- and the manager standing right there did nothing to help. With only two other guests at the bar, this should have been an easy shift. Disappointing experience and won't be back!

(We ask every year) Not expecting them to honor it because it's a BIG ASK in food service - they went ABOVE AND BEYOND. We were given champagne and they made a rum cake for us! We were crying with gratitude, the hostesses and wait staff were crying, and it will be an anniversary to remember. The ambiance and decor was edgy and modern. You could actually have a conversation while it not being too quiet or too loud. Oh and the food was fantastic! We ordered crispy rice cabbage salad () a patty melt, Khao Soi, and two cocktails. Unbelievable quality. Even better service! Our waitress, Parker, was knowledgable about everything on the menu, suggested the fries (don't skip those), and very attentive. We will be back.

When it comes to Arkansas and foreign foods, I think we need to do better than just our southern salt and pepper seasoning. Bring on the Thai spices!! The pad kra was good, I'll give it a 7/10. It needed more of a Thai punch. I get it, people here have a soft palate but come on lol. I added some extra gochujang, chili flakes, and Thai chili to elevate it and all that made it work. Those wings though are outstanding! Extra crispy and hot to order. I prefer wet wings but the fun does come into the dipping process and their sauces. The burger looked fantastic and tasted good. The bun just doesn't stand a chance, it'll become moist from the heat and not stand on its own. But I still give that a 7/10. I am eager to come back and try other things. Their kimchi gravy schnitzel is something I want to try soon. Will be back for sure!

The atmosphere is great; the space was huge with indoor and outdoor seating, with a kind of vibe that is perfect for an evening out with friends. We made a last-minute reservation for a group of 22 (yikes!) at 6:30pm on a Thursday, and they happily accommodated us. We were seated in a private back room with plenty of space, and the décor was absolutely adorable (peep the photos!). I strategically sat next to friends who were willing to split appetizers, entrées, and dessert, which gave me the perfect opportunity to sample a few of their signature dishes. We started with the Beer Cheese & Pretzel and the Brussels & Bacon, and both were fantastic. The Brussels were the standout, wonderfully charred with a smoky flavor, while the maple bacon added just the right amount of sweetness to balance everything. For our entrées, we shared the STB Craft Burger and the Chicago Hot Dog. Choosing a favorite was nearly impossible, but the hot dog ultimately won me over. The toasted poppy seed bun was chef's kiss, and the combination of pickled vegetables and relish made every bite pop with flavor. But friends ... do yourself a favor and order the brownie à la mode (or, strategically place yourself between friends that like to share because we also got the honey vanilla sundae. ). I'm not being dramatic when I say it's the best brownie I've ever had. It wasn't dense, yet it wasn't cakey either--it existed in that beautiful, perfect, magical space between the two. Warm, rich, perfectly textured, and paired with ice cream... "otherworldly" is the only word that comes to mind. I'm only visiting from out of state, but I would gladly return to Little Rock just for another meal here. An incredible dining experience from start to finish.
