I don't know why this spot has poor reviews because I will rave about Brewskys till the day I die. It has a great sports bar atmosphere, decent priced food, more like bar food, but honestly everything hits. Their ranch is reaaaally good. It is a perfect spot for getting a drink, some apps, and watching a game. It is right in the heart of downtown and walking distance to everything, with lots of seating and cool outdoor options. We were there in March on a Saturday during basketball season. We wanted to watch 2 different basketball games on TV and when we walked in both were already showing on TV's. The waitress was as good as could possibly be expected as the place was about 80-90% full. She gave us menus quickly and took our drink orders. Both the beer and soda were cold! We wanted to order a dinner and because it was a busy day, they only had their abbreviated menu available. I ordered the Philly and she a hamburger. WE were both surprised the food was served as quickly as it was. Her burger was 'ok' as she described it. I asked her to rate it on a scale of 1 to 5 because I almost always write a review when we eat 'out'. She gave me a number of 3 to 3.5, saying it was hot, tasted 'ok' and yes would order it again. It was a good thing my sandwich was identified as a Philly sandwich because without this hint I probably would not have guessed what it was. Imagine going into a Walmart choosing the smallest and cheapest hot dog bun. The texture is flimsy, comes apart easily, and has no taste, but it does hold the hotdog. My sandwich, even with this small, flimsy and tasteless bun, did not have enough filling to cover the inside of the bun. The roast beef had obviously been on the grill well PAST being cooked. The was a small piece of green pepper, a single digit of dried up onions, 2 slivers of green onion and a piece of mushroom. My wife liked her sandwich but said the FF were "not very good, at all". I felt my fries were a 3 on a scale to 5. Overall? As we drove away we briefly discussed our meal. We both agreed we might return to watch a game. But, not to eat. I can fully understand how on a day when the restaurant is expecting to be busy they will prepare some food before it is needed. In this case though it was very obvious the filling of my sandwich had been on the grill for a VERY long time, it was dry and shriveled up and tasteless. read more

We enjoy this sports bar for the multiple taps and TVS! However today we had some buffalo chicken nachos that were pretty tasty! Lots of chicken and jalapenos and a mound of cheese covered chips. The service was good. The waitress was friendly. We ate outside. It was clean, organized, and the atmosphere was relaxing. I wish I could give more stars but the food was less than average. I had a Rueben sandwich. The corned beef was dry, the bread was slightly over toasted and the sweet potato fries were soggy, lukewarm at best and greasy. There were small "puddles" of oil under and around the fries. As seen in the picture I did not finish them. I probably ate about 3 of them. I wish I would have been asked how my meal was, I probably would have sent them back. That is saying something because that isn't something I do. read more

Awful, and they didn't even try to make it right. There were like 4 tables in the whole place and we showed up, but the length of time we waited for our server and for our food would have you thinking it was the Spring game. Again, took forever and the cheeseburger was wrong. The server never came over to check on us, so we never even had the chance to try to get it corrected. By the time she came over, we were all done with all of our food except the cheeseburger. We pointed out it was wrong and she took off $4. What a slap in the face. That was your solution?? The Omaha location on Q street is decent, but I may not ever go back to that one due to the experiences I've had at this location. The crazy thing is, THEY JUST DONT CARE. Wow, the manager Jarrod was so rude and not worried about good customer service. We wanted to watch the Husker game upstairs (move from downstairs when tables cleared up as people went to the game) but Jarrod said we couldn't because where we wanted to go was a "last resort" area. Went to the Husker night game this past Saturday. At 10 pm we decided to go to Brewsky's in the Haymarket for post game food like we always do. They told us they weren't serving food anymore and it was only 10 pm which is extremely hard to imaging on a night game. They had all summer to prepare for the game. It was very, very disappointing that they shut it down that early. read more

We had a group of about 25 come here on a Saturday night for a work party. Our waitress was well-attentive and did a phenomenal job catering to our large party as well as the other tables around us. There was live music in the basement with 2 people on pianos which provided a fun atmosphere. They took song requests and kept the crowd involved throughout the night. The food was a bit slow to come out with such a large party but that's to be expected. Great comfort food that hit the spot! read more

Go to buzzard Billy's. Old lipstick stains on our glass and they don't even honor their specials because "it's labeled weird". I'm not sure how it's labeled wrong? We didn't get the 2.75 pint, 2.75 well drink, OR the 4.50 Vegas bombs. I went on a Sunday night around 10 and ordered a salad with oriental dressing. It was my mistake I just didn't know oriental sauce is supposed to be spicy because when I've gotten it elsewhere it is usually sweeter and not spicy at all. It just tasted like wing sauce. I ate two bites of this salad before saying I couldn't do it and asked if I could just get the burger special. I was told they would take the salad off. They took the salad away from our table. Then I got my burger and it was good! I received the check and the just discounted the salad to 4 dollars. I paid for something I didn't even eat. If I was going to pay for that and my burger I would at least like to give it to someone at my table that did like the dressing. We visited this restaurant the night before a recent Huskers football game. The area was definitely full of excited fans. We seated ourselves at the first open table we could find. Previous customers were just leaving the table. The table was cleared but never cleaned. Our waiter was doing his best to cover many tables. He did mention that they were always busy due to their location, many tables, multiple televisions and cold beer. He warned us that the food was slim. We ordered nachos and burgers. The game day menu was very limited. Nachos were brought quickly to our table but they were the worst nachos any of us had ever eaten. The chips were broken and crushed and the cheese was a cold liquid. My son and I (he is a professional baseball player that doesn't miss too many meals) couldn't finish our very subpar burgers. They actually didn't taste like hamburger meat. We couldn't figure out their origin but quickly realized they were inedible. On the positive side, the bottled beer in a bucket was cold. read more

Love this place very much. I hang out here with some buddies of mine every week and we enjoy the food a lot. We especially enjoy the servers. One of them has been serving me and my buddies for years and she feels like family now. The most important thing to know is that they have Pinpoint wich is a rewards program connected with Brewsky's that will allow you to collect points for every dollar you spend and when you collect over a hundred points, you'll get $15 off the next purchase.
