    Moldy bread

I purchased a Pulled Pork Sandwich with side of mac&cheese and my bread was MOLDY!! This was from the main restaurant in Ephrata. Since the way they warped the sandwich was upside down that's the side I starting eating. Only realizing half way threw that the top bun was covered in mold. I tried to call to make them aware. No answer. Come to find out later that evening I got sick. My work used this company to cater an event a few weeks prier to my visit. Food was great but they were not prepared for the amount of people we told them to have food for. So most people had to wait 45 minutes while they prepared. Since the food was good I thought I'd try it for lunch. Worst experience ever. Never had a restaurant serve me moldy food.

Review for the Brewster's stand on Hempfield Road across from the Costco: The smell of the smoke and meat invites you in before even turning off of the road into the parking lot. Monster portions of heavily heavenly smoked brisket and 3-bean-baked beans w/ thick cut bacon & ground meat hooked me. They have 5 sauces: Carolina mustard, hickory, regular, HOT and apple bbq. All 5 are awesome. Fair warning: the hot is indeed hot and leaves a lingering burn...not for those who think jalapeños are hot. They also have smoked bones to buy for your pups...they donate the money to the Wolf Sanctuary. Badass. They are very quick, and you can even call ahead to place orders. You can buy plate dinners or buy by the lb.

Dried out brisket. Recently, quality has gone down.

Ive been coming here for the past couple of years now. Usually, its pretty good. Just today we got two belt busters and the brisket was just old and dried out. It wasnt really edible and it was even harder to swallow.

    Brisket and coleslaw.

BBQ was just ok. The ribs were much better than the brisket. Brisket was very fatty. There are much better places in Lancaster County.

Southern Market in Lancaster is like a smaller-scale version of Union Market in DC or Faneuil Hall…read morein Boston. There's plenty of variety without feeling overwhelming. The food hall leans impressively diverse, with fusion spots spanning lots of cuisines- Colombian, Thai, Jamaican, Mexican, Laotian, Moroccan, etc. At the center is a circular bar with TVs, which makes for a great gathering spot. The vibe overall is relaxed and family-friendly I tried an empanada from Mekatos, a Colombian-Laotian spot, filled with brisket and potato! It was fantastic. As Colombian-style empanadas, they're also naturally gluten-free. I highly recommend. The service was friendly and quick.

We arrived after 9:00 PM and were able to find street parking right in front, but there is no dedicated parking lot, so parking may be more challenging during busier hours. One thing to note is that many of the food vendors close around 9:00 PM. By the time we arrived, most stalls were either already closed or in the process of cleaning up. We were still able to grab empanadas and non-alcoholic drinks from Mekatos Eatery and bring them over to enjoy at 1888 Bar, the central bar area within the market. We sat at the bar and watched a game, and the bar stayed open until after 11:00 PM when it ended. Southern Market is a great space, it's very large, clean, open, and modern, with what appears to be a beautifully renovated warehouse-style design. The black-and-white color scheme, exposed metal elements, and high ceilings give it a contemporary industrial feel. Southern Market seems like a great spot with a wide variety of food and drink options when all the vendors are open. Based on our experience, I would recommend visiting for lunch or an early dinner to take full advantage of everything the market has to offer.
