Great pretty new taproom in Capitola village. I was bummed when the previous place closed. I truly hope Brewtopia thrives and lasts! Great selection of many different styles of beer. Thankfully, not too many IPAs and they did have a couple stouts for me. Do great Brewtopia!

Great beer selection. Love the live music. Friendly staff! Tasty pretzels. This is a fun place to stop by after work or in the afternoon on a Saturday.

For Sante Adairius the beer that Steve and I had and I can report liked was their IPA known as Spots and Dots. This IPA was a bit more refreshing and fun compared to some IPA'S where it just seems like a blur from one brewery to the next and you wonder if you actually went to a different brewery from the previous one if you have IPA'S back to back. So in this regard I am happy to say that it was distinctive and had it's own signature. Flavor highlights with this IPA are hoppy, juicy and bitter. The beer is also aromatic and smooth. I found out later this brewery makes very good saisons so should the opportunity arise again to get a hold of one I certainly will as I love a good saison!

We had some dogs with us so we appreciated the several picnic tables with umbrellas out on the patio. This place is known for their saisons, and I enjoyed the limited release one while I was there. Several of my friends purchased bottles to-go. They had some snacks available for purchase, but you can also bring your own food. And it seems like they had rotating food options from a pop-up kitchen, which happened to be tacos the day we were there. Off the beaten path and a little tricky to find if you aren't particularly looking for it, this was a nice spot to sit and enjoy a drink.

Brightly painted in beachy colors with beautiful enormous rattan lighting, and a clean and friendly atmosphere. It has cool wrap-around modern seating benches with boho pillows and mirror wall decor near the pool table. We got to meet super charming Brittany, the owner, and ordered a fried chicken sandwich/fries which was crunchy and yummy and the pile of fries were crispy which we love. Also had buffalo chicken wings - they were so perfectly cooked, tender and juicy. They truly were the best I've had in the area. BUT I cannot say enough how incredibly perfect the Martini that Brittany made me was - A Vodka martini with jalapeño-infused olive juice with two blue-cheese stuffed olives served in an icy fogged martini glass. I think it was called the Spicy Christina. Refreshing and a sipping pleasure. We'll definitely be back for all the above and to try their Waffle-Chicken sandwich. We also got to hang with our favorite local bartender, Christa! She'll make you feel at home with her chatty ways, bar games and good pours!!!! This is a great place to meet up with friends and definitely a local fave. But tourists will love it too - it has such a light and friendly party vibe.

Of course there's overflow seating here because they also have a plentiful menu and kitchen to cater to your culinary appitite. And therefore better (unless you be chillin in Belgium). That is not a compliment to be taken lightly. First American Saison that I actually want to fill up my growler with and don't care about the cost. That good. Pizza... I'm always sus about detroit style (allot of places precook the bread and therefore you are eating pizza toast). And for 28 bucks for a roni, I'd be a bit pissed. BUT. I actually dont know if they are doing that and franky don't care because I could not detect it (and I can usually tell being that I'm a bread baker). That being said, the bread is bomb as hell quite enjoyable. Even cold. So. It's worth the price. Or go spend the same or considerably more on some GIANT boring pizza somewhere else so you can eat leftovers for the rest of the week (or be in horrible pain from overeating). Your call. But worth it. Must try spot. House Saison. Done son #1.
