It did take about 30-45 minutes to be seen by a doctor but the nurses were very attentive and checked up on me during the waiting time, gave me a blanket and made sure i was comfortable. The doctor addressed all my concerns and i felt better within 24 hours after visiting. I will definitely recommend friends and family to this care.

I came during emergency room hours for an antibiotic resistant UTI in excruciating pain. The doctor genuinely seemed to have something against me from the start. I was placed in a hallway plastic chair where I sat for 1.5 hours before the doctor even spoke to me. Two different patients that had come into the waiting room after me were treated and discharged before I even saw the doctor. When she finally came over to speak with me, she was short, didn't listen, and would speak over me as I was trying to explain my situation and symptoms. She told me that "azo is available over the counter" when I asked for a pyridiam prescription. I was in tears because of how I felt completely mistreated and misunderstood. She then had to go get an HR lady in order to continue speaking with me because I was "raising my voice". I continued to explain my level of pain and how I fear this has progressed to a kidney infection. She basically told me I was out of luck until they get results from the culture back and that I just need to take advil and tylenol (which I had already maxed out on with no relief). I told her that this is just unacceptable and that I need relief because I can't sit, lay down, sleep, or do anything without being in immense pain. She said verbatim, this is an ER. I treat life or death emergencies. You need to see a specialist." I then explained my medical history AGAIN and how I have seen specialists. She literally said, "well then I don't know what to tell you but I did write you a prescription for pyridiam." After she walked away, three different staff members came up separately and apologized to me for her behavior. One of them slid me a business card for the patient relations representative and told me "please contact them about your experience". I will NEVER go here again. Heading to the hospital now to hopefully get some help.

I had just been the the ER for another one and they required the paperwork to, but not being to Banner they don't have it. The office girl really tiptoed around me and felt bad me having to run home first to get it. I understood as there is a lot going on in the world with families and it is important. It is her job. I was very kind about it. I ran back really fast and came back. Our visitor paperwork had already been filled out, so were taken back right away. PA John was super kind and friendly. Then I have to wait in the back to be seen, so that's another 20-30 mins and then to get discharged it's another 20-30 mins. Staff is nice, but why have a reservation if you still have to wait as if you are a walk-in. My name has been on the waiting list for the entire hour and now that I'm number 1, they have called 3 people that aren't on the list! Update: I was pulled back an hour and 10 mins after my scheduled appt! The screen where the waiting list shows doesn't accurately update, so no need to look at that! The lady in the front was rude and had no empathy for my time, called herself getting an attitude, but had she answered my first initial question correctly (which was, does that waiting list update correctly, because I have been number 1 for 45 mins and everyone is getting called before me! She said he was updating) and said no, that list needs to be fixed as it doesn't provide accurate info, I would have never had to go ask why I wasn't getting called again, for a second time! Another lady came and was professional, asked what was wrong, explained it correctly, and handled the situation correctly!

Anyone who follows my reviews know I try to be as fair as I possibly can, always. I have been using MYDRNOW since Oct. 2025 and they were great! Specifically Terri C. and her staff. It is also walking distance from my gym, P.O. Box & hair salon. On May 11th I was scheduled for an evening appointment. Upon arrival I was greeted by a new receptionist who told me my Nurse Practitioner Terri was no longer there and left days before. I was brought in for BP and Weight and a new Nurses assistant greeted me there (concerns growing). I was led into an exam room and waited 5-10 minutes (typical, all good). Enter Fahar A. New Nurse practitioner I'd never seen. I quickly inquired about Terri and why I was not informed before coming. His statement was "I've got problems too....I was just told today I was coming here to handle Terri's caseload" Why he told me this I have no clue, not my problem. Apparently I was wrong. Fahar informed me that I need to see a specialist before continuing on my existing medication (which is a grand total of 1). I was given a bridge prescription until May 31st as that was the first time the referral had availability for visit (online). I filled my partial script and waited until that day (this past Saturday May 30th, 2 days ago). I had video call with Krystle R. During our call she informed me because it was the weekend they could not fill my prescription and I would need to see another specialist as she couldn't prescribe?? Getting lost? I waited for next video appointment with Cara H. June 1st.... To start she was late for our call which is understandable but courtesy was nowhere in site. Even my last appointment went over or any acknowledgment. Her first conversation point was she had researched me and I have had 5 different pharmacies in a short amount of time. As a consultant I work in different part of Az based on days sometimes weeks. I have my Single prescription filled where it makes sense to my given client/work location as well as inventory at the pharmacy. I did ask Cara H. If there were any duplicate prescriptions requested ever or she could see "Dr. Shopping" she said no. Cara informed me she would not prescribe my medication and she referred me to yet another specialist?? So in closing I now after talking to a very nice lady Angelica at MYDRNOW phone support I need to call a referral company for appointment?? That's 1 in person appointment, 2 video call appointments and now a new referral company. This company has SERIOUS internal communication problems or they like generating fees for bogus appointments to generate fees. Being clear they are either trying to generate "unnecessary fees" or their Right Hand doesn't know what their Left hand is doing?? Either way they are a company to steer clear of and please do share this information. I can't prove which it is but will be looking into them with a microscope and will update to this contribution asap. UPDATE; 06/01/2026 As promised I would update. I reached out to the 3rd Specialist referral after my initial post. The organization requires a 3 hour in person appointment covering 3 health/wellness areas. One of the areas is Physical?? I take very good care of myself, no drinking, smoking and Daily exercise. Considering I have been in to see MYDRNOW for 9 months straight where blood was taken multiple times and vitals on every visit, why would this be necessary of they are doing the job my insurance is paying for already. I'm definitely changing providers today but will continue to investigate why they are sending referrals like they are needed 4 times now.. Jett~

So I went on a Thursday at about 1pm and was out of the ER by 2:30pm. I interacted with a lovely, blonde lady at the front desk, 3 nurses, Dr. Oscislawski, and an X-ray tech. Everyone was pleasant, professional and respectful. Very different experience than at another local ER I've been to. The thing about Yelp is have to consider that people are hurt and sick and if the care is not as expected, they will more than likely write a review if they felt they received poor care. And that is not to diminish anyone's lived experience. But how many will write reviews to praise staff and their experience? Interestingly, the X-ray machine was brought to my room (the gentleman explained that it's because my issue was smaller and could be done this way but won't apply for every x-ray). The kind woman at the front desk (I hate that her name escapes me now), came to my room and asked for my payment, which I thought was odd. Perhaps, a portable credit card machine might be a better option here. No disrespect to her but I'm not letting anyone take my credit/debit card out of my sight. So I just paid after I was discharged and leaving. The lobby was empty so that might not always be an efficient way to do it for them. For me, my issue was not life-threatening but I was handled with care and will definitely be bypassing the other ER for a better experience at Abrazo.

As parents we have to choose. We have to make choices, those hard ones? Is it worth going to the doctor? It's just a fever! Let them sleep it off. Here's my story of why not to ignore a fever. Why not ignore a fever? A few years back I lost one of my sisters to the flu. It all started with a fever. So when any of my children, friends and families children we never mess around with a fever. The fever tells us "hey you, something is wrong here!" Take care of this please?! That's exactly while we are sitting here in the car waiting for further instructions on how to get checked in and all here at Urgent Care. Now that we are sitting in a waiting room, one other patient sits across from us. Beware with the new COVID rules going to the emergency room has a whole new set of rules. Usually, they only want the patient to be seen, even if they are a child. I have no time for this rule. I understand that we are trying to contain a virus and one never knows the diagnosis but what's it gonna hurt to have mama holding your hand. The nurse felt the same way and allowed me to accompany my son in the room in the back. All you need is the mask, but if you forget the ER staff has you. When you get sick all you want is mama? Connor kept looking back as he coughed from that cold bed. They stick him with needles to ensure that he's healthy. Tube after colorful tubes of his red blood flow out flooding the tube. He's such a trooper, not even screaming or crying. I can see it in his eyes, that glazed over look. He's so tired and can not breath with all that congestion. He wishes that he was able to cough it all up. When we came to the urgent care they are super through and asked Connor his level of pain. They put him on a sedative drip so that he could get comfortable. They informed me that since he came in with a 109 fever, he will not leave until it breaks. I agreed and left his health in their hands. As the nurses worked on us and other patients we were asked on numerous occasions if we were comfortable. The room that we were in had a bed that Connor relaxed in and I sat right next to the bed holding his hand. Remembering back when they were so young, I get lost in the memories as I sit here in silence. The room has a television and great privacy. As we wait I dozed off next to Connor. The doctor came back in what seemed such a short amount of time, or so it seemed. Needing that short nap after being up all night with Connor I feel fresh and awake now. Just need coffee. That's later back to Connor. Breaking the fever is key. The staff informed me that since it is so high, they need to put him in an ice bath. Temperatures that high can cause brain damage of not broken. The Tylenol and ibuprofen mix did not work, only bring it down a few degrees. Connor was put in an ice bath being dipped for five minutes in and then five minutes out for about thirty minutes. After attending and aiding the nurses that the color came back to Connor. He was put back in the bed in some fresh hospital digs with the drip medication put back into his veins. One can never know what's going to happen. It may seem such minimal impact that was done for Connor; he's healthy and smiling now. The fever is not all gone, but when we left it was 101. Instructions were given to me for continued home care. I was told they would call my phone and follow up with us. Now that we're home, the instructions that I was given were easy to follow. Any concerns that arise I was told to return immediately to the urgent care. I feel that the staffs kindness was one of the best blessings one can have. They eased my nerves and kept me calm. Yes us mamas tend to get emotional when our kids are sick. They sent the prescriptions to a local pharmacy. All this work was much appreciated. Knowing that this is just their job. Health care individuals put their lives in jeopardy every moment to celebrate your health and happiness. Much love to all the happiness and stillness that you were able to give my angel. Sometimes it feels that we continue to fail, putting off if the fever is just a wonderful little nothing. In the eyes of our children we are super hero's. Trust your instincts and know that you can do it! For our children their is nothing that we will not do. For you are brave, strong, and smart!
