I had been putting it off for almost a year but knew that the longer I delayed, the more problems might crop up. I called Endoconic Specialty Group in Gresham on Tuesday. They schedule me for a consultation the next day. After going over the process and answering all of my questions, I was able to schedule the procedure for the same day as the office had a cancellation for later in the afternoon Everyone in the office was courteous and efficient. X-rays were taken to make sure everyone knew what was ahead and I was perfectly numbed by Dr. Vaughan. (I've never had such a totally painless experience.) A protective dam was installed to help with keeping it all clean and I was offered an option when I initally tensed up at the process. (I have a pretty strong gag reflex but the dental assistant worked gently and slowly, making sure I was comfortable with the device as she installed it.) The process took about an hour. I used my earbuds and music to distract me while they drilled away. I had mentioned problems that I had endured during previous root canals and it appears that Dr. Vaughan was able to get the job done without a recurrence of these problems. I was given specific post-op instructions on pain management and we discussed when I should call my regular dentist to schedule crown prep and cleaning -- in a couple of weeks. All in all, it was a pleasant experience. I would recommend this office to anyone needing a professional and painless root canal. One day later, I have no pain. Thank you.

The nurses are very gentle when working, and Dr. Anderson himself is very good at what he does-- I had my wisdom tooth removed on Monday in about 30 minutes, which passed quickly as him and his assistant were very reassuring. Having the tooth out feels so much better now, and didn't hurt at all. The office is absolutely amazing. It's welcoming, clean, and comfortable. The lobby has super comfortable furniture, and the decor is very refreshing for those of us who are anxious in eerily sterile, clinical settings. We brought our son in for care, fully explaining ahead of time that he is a child with special needs. Instead of showing any patience, understanding, or willingness to accommodate him, Dr. Sadakah refused to provide services when my son was unable to complete the X-rays. What was most concerning is that he didn't even attempt to examine my son's mouth--there was no effort to build trust, no attempt to adapt to his needs, and no alternative solutions offered. We were simply dismissed and sent away. This is especially frustrating because the clinic presents itself as a place that supports patients who may need extra patience or accommodations for children with disabilities/specials needs. Based on our experience, that was not reflected at all in how our child was treated. Families with special needs children already face significant barriers when accessing healthcare. We came in hoping for compassion and understanding, and instead left feeling dismissed. I would strongly caution other families of special needs children before coming here. This was not a supportive or accommodating environment, and it was a very discouraging experience for our family.

They are very budget conscience and will attempt to do all they can to find low cost solutions. Deanna is the one who usually answers the phone, and she is always so helpful, and attentive to the needs described over the phone. There is never an ounce of judgment when you walk in. Dr. Kim is just amazing, and never makes you feel less than human for not having perfect dental hygiene. I'll be going here as long as they stay open.
