Amidst the quaint brick building-lined Main Street area of the village is this sweet little Visitor's Center that is nestled in a small corner park. The park and the hobbit-like-house that is the center are well kept, and a pretty addition to the heart of the village. The center contains various travel brochures and maps. It is operated by town volunteers. Because this is an entirely volunteer-run organization as far as I can tell, the hours and coverage are fairly limited. On weekends, it appears the center is entirely closed. But one aspect of the Visitor's Center that is open 24/7 is the free little library in front of the building. When we recently visited, the book box was mostly full of children's and religious books. We did snag a couple of classics we found in the pile. We are in Medina often, and look forward to stopping by again to check out the book assortment. We also hope to hit it at a time when we can go in the Medina NY Visitor's Center to explore information about all of the various sites and options Orleans County has to offer. First the location at the Buffalo Airport is not on the same floor as the other agencies. No worry it's a floor below. Regardless it's super conveniently located across the street from baggage claim. The rep was super nice and friendly. Asked about our flight and demonstrated an interest in helping us get on our way. The hick up was a not having the type of car that I reserved - we wanted a luxury sedan but she offered a small lux SUV. The contracting was super quick and we were off to our adventure within a few minutes. Way to go National thank you.

Also, I was told I would be getting a Jeep Wrangler due to the fact that I have a vehicle of the same size when I arrived they told me that I would be getting a small Mitsubishi hatchback, and that the Jeep Wrangler would be available soon due to the fact he was getting a oil change. I called back at 3:20 this afternoon and was told that the Jeep needed a tire. He was gonna call over there immediately and get back to me. I verified my phone number it's now 347 still no phone call back.

I had a reservation at the Lockport location booked through Priceline yesterday (3/16/2026)…read morereserved for 11am. My ride was late picking me up, so I got there at 12:15 pm The person at the desk, Matt who told me that he was the manager, said that he had no car for me because I was late. I asked why the car wasn't held until they at least called me to check with me to see if I was coming for the car? He said that they hold cars for about 30-45 minutes and that a customer with no reservation walked in at 12:05pm and got my car. He said that it not his job to call me. I asked if I could get one of the other cars on the lot and he said that they were all reserved. I asked what we could do at this point to resolve the problem and he said that there was nothing he could do. I told him that if he was really the manager, he was really bad at his job. I left and went on Priceline as soon as I left and looked up that location for the same day for a 2:00pm pickup and they had cars in every category available. (see the attached picture) Somehow, Matt could not find a car for me, but I was able to walk outside, get on my phone and book a car for that same location. I worked in the retail business as a district manager and regional manager for large companies for almost 40 years. So, you can believe me when I say that if this rude, lazy person is the face of your company, you have a problem.

Enterprise in cheektowaga is HORRIBLE!!!. They gave me a car that had damage on it already that I…read morewasn't aware of because in the walk around the damage wasn't pointed out and acknowledged, I realized the damages after my boyfriend said something and recorded a video and I texted Enterprise and ASKED to clarify that they knew about the damages and was told yes they have it documented and there is nothing I have to worry about. They then turn around and put the damages that was on the car previously on a claim with my insurance and THEN makes it seem like i haven't been reaching out to them when i've been blowing up there phone, texting them AND calling and nothing going through at all, I kept getting told I had to wait for a manager to reach out (WHICH NEVER HAPPENED) and every time I called I got hung up on or transferred to a department I did not need to speak too. The first rental I got before this one smelled HORRIBLE like old smoke like the car wasn't even cleaned out. Will never rent anything from them again! 0/10 recommend.
