Enterprise in cheektowaga is HORRIBLE!!!. They gave me a car that had damage on it already that I wasn't aware of because in the walk around the damage wasn't pointed out and acknowledged, I realized the damages after my boyfriend said something and recorded a video and I texted Enterprise and ASKED to clarify that they knew about the damages and was told yes they have it documented and there is nothing I have to worry about. They then turn around and put the damages that was on the car previously on a claim with my insurance and THEN makes it seem like i haven't been reaching out to them when i've been blowing up there phone, texting them AND calling and nothing going through at all, I kept getting told I had to wait for a manager to reach out (WHICH NEVER HAPPENED) and every time I called I got hung up on or transferred to a department I did not need to speak too. The first rental I got before this one smelled HORRIBLE like old smoke like the car wasn't even cleaned out. Will never rent anything from them again! 0/10 recommend. read more

Due to an car accident, I had to use Enterprise for my loaner. Spoke with a representative, and they set me up to receive a shuttle ride from the collision center. The process of receiving the car is simple, and pretty straightforward. The only issue I had was regards to the interior cleanliness of the car. This car needed a deep cleaning very badly. I booked a rental car in advance with Enterprise, received confirmation. When I arrived to pick up the vehicle, I was told they had no cars available. No prior notice, no clear explanation -- just a shrug and a "sorry." This completely disrupted my travel plans and left me scrambling for alternatives at the last minute. I was recently quoted 4.34 a day to rent a car. This was above what my insurance company would pay I assumed. I got the bill and it was well over that. I thought I would get a bill of $71 for 15 days but they charged me 264.54. I complained and your people said they would honor it and only gave me $60 back. I complained again and she said she would figure out but never did so I called again with no satisfaction. I chatTed and was told I had to pay tax on total bill and they charged 39.45 a day! I was never informed of that amount. Horrible way to deal with a handicapped senior citizen. ASK for all the details. I never would have rented if I knew this. They need to inform customers. I had the semi-unfortunate pleasure of dealing with them after I'd gotten in an accident and the collision shop was seeing what they could do about salvaging my vehicle (spoiler alert: they couldn't save her. RIP Wednesday, 2015-2018). Through the other driver's insurance, I was able to rent a car for a couple of days, putting some relief on my father's vehicle mileage. The guys at this location were incredibly kind, engaging, and helpful. We walked right in and they were able to help us deal with the transaction of it all, and get me a car in only about 20 minutes. The car itself was in very nice condition - a small Nissan that I put to good use. Unfortunately I only had the car for a weekend (that's all their insurance would cover), but I'm glad they made the business of it all very easy after having to deal with all of the issues surrounding my accident. Just tried to rent from this location and have a driver come pick me up. The guy I spoke informed me that he was closing in the hour and was going to send his driver out right away. No problem, but driver was sent to the wrong address. I was told by the driver that he had to call the office and get back to me because he was a half hour away from where he was supposed to be. That was the last I heard from anyone. When trying to call the office there was no answer and a message saying that they were already closed for the day. The set up for renting and returning cars at the Buffalo airport is very inconvenient. And for the love of God, never rent the "7 passenger" Nissan Armada for more than 4 people.There were 6 of us, and the 3rd row seats were incredibly cramped. I was the shortest passenger at 5'3", and my knees were embedded in the seat ahead of me. Getting in and out was a real struggle. It made our trip quite uncomfortable. read more

While I was upset and spoke rather loudly (not yelling), it was obvious that they switched pickup locations and never informed us. Rented a car from the 3700 Genesee location in Cheektowaga near the Buffalo airport and was ripped off. The contract I signed wasn't what I was actually charged. I was quoted $131.89 in WRITING and was charged almost $300 when it was all said and done. The car was returned before the time it was due back, exceptionally clean, with a full tank of gas and without a scratch on it and yet they still ripped me off. I called to ask why and was given the run around as to why from the rude and condescending clown who answered the phone and still wasn't refunded the portion of my money that they owed me. And he kept interrupting me and talking over me while i was trying to talk. I will NEVER do business with Enterprise again because of this and I recommend that you don't as well at least at this location....unless you like poor customer service and being ripped off. read more

Promises,promises,promises. I reserved a vehicle one week in advance and was promised the vehicle would be there on the date and time agreed upon. I visited enterprise the day before my trip and was assured again that I would have at least 3 vehicles to choose from. I arrive at the agreed upon time and low and behold NO vehicles to choose from. I can't believe that a company is run by such young people that have no concept of customer satisfaction. I had to cancel my trip and will never again use this poor excuse of a business. Had a rental from Enterprise when my car was in the collision shop. It was an easy process to get it set up through Geico (not my insurance, was that of the guy who hit me and took liability) and also convenient as they are attached to Gabe's Collision. All of their agents were professional, friendly, and got me in and out both when I was picking up and returning quickly. While only a compact was covered through insurance, I got a basically brand new Fiat. I have been happy with other experiences with Enterprise and would return here if needed. read more

This place is awful... If i could give it a negative star I would....... I booked my car at 3pm for pick up at Depew station and I called them at 2:20pm letting them know that my train was running 10 minutes late. The person that answer the phone say they are closing at 3pm. I called them a day earlier (Friday) to confirm that we need to be picked up tomorrow (Saturday) at 3pm and the guy say it was not a problem and he will make a note letting the person know tomorrow. The person that answer the phone gave me the airport number to call so we could rebook our car. I was very disappointed on how irresponsible they were. I called the airport and no one picked up. I called the airport like about 10 times. I called back asking what can she do in her end and because i would be stuck at the station without a car and i would only be here for a weekend. She asked for my number and she would call the airport and she will call us back. 3pm past and no response, so I decide to call and no one answers. They do not go the extra mile for their customers which was their slogan. read more

Enterprise Rent a Car is blatantly engaged in bait and switch behavior. No one should trust this company. On Saturday November21st 2014 I made an online reservation with Enterprise to get a rental car to be picked up November 23rd and run through November 30th 2014. The cost with tax was $235.80 On the morning of November 23rd the Enterprise office called to tell me that although they had my reservation they did not have any cars at their location and there was a waiting list where I was unlikely to get a car for several days. The employee could not tell me if there were any cars available at any other nearby locations. So I called the national Enterprise booking number. Again, they could see my reservation with the agreed upon price. After an hour and a half of talking with various reservations staff who could not help I was finally connected with a Customer Service Manger named Lillian. I was told I could get the same style car I had reserved at an Enterprise location 5 blocks from the original location for a cost of $325.09 for a week's rental. I reminded the Customer Service Manger that Enterprise had agreed to reserve a car for me which they did not do. I reminded the Customer Service Manger that the cost of the weeklong reservation they had agreed to was $235.80. And now that Enterprise had made the mistake of not actually keeping enough cars on hand they were asking me to pay close to a 30% increase in cost by going to another location 5 blocks away. The Customer Service Manager answered "Yes, that's what I can do for you." I asked her to honor the originally agreed upon price and she said she couldn't. I did not rent the car from them. This company clearly overbooks their reservations and then pulls a bait and switch charging more to people who clearly need a rental car immediately. At minimum this is dishonest, at worst it is illegal read more
