My second appt was a cleaning also with Dr. Jessup, I was happy with that as well, they were nice and informative. And I had zero pain during the cleaning. My third appt was to get some cavities filled by Dr Jessup, I had no issues with pain before the fillings but now am in a lot of pain and it's been 4 months since then. So I was not happy with that. I went in today for a cleaning from Dr Hutchinson, she was super kind and helpful on a plan to get my tooth to no longer hurt, she said that the filling I was given needed to be fixed and that should solve the pain. Overall I would definitely reccomend the office as the desk gals and hygienists are wonderful and so is Dr Hutchinson but I wouldn't reccomend seeing Dr Jessup. Also the location is kind of interesting to get to but once you've gone once it'll be a breeze to get to again. They do have a parking lot which I appreciate, and the office is very cozy and clean inside as well!

So this review doesn't really reflect on him as much his staff and facility. Barbara is my dental hygienist and she is gentle, nice and easy to talk with. If you look past the tv of distraction, the view of the Plaza is nice from her chair. The entire front desk staff is super sweet, attentive and on top of their game. The waiting area is really clean and up to date. Current magazines, complimentary bottle water, hot tea, juice and snacks are available for all the patients of this office. Not that you want to go to the dentist, but if you have to, check out the office of Dr. Waldron.

A dentist should get your records, not ask for payment/commitment for a plan before ever meeting with anyone from your office, not insist that you get panoramic X-rays but not teeth cleaning. I want to go elsewhere given that i am here for the 2nd time, 25 minutes into my appointment and no one has started cleaning my teeth again. I've spent $600 and want to go elsewhere but it appears too late. They don't seem to know or accommodate any of my health needs.

I have been coming to Comfort Dental Midtown for years, and unfortunately, this was probably the…read moreworst experience I have ever had at this location. They recently hired a new hygienist named Mackenzie, and from the moment she entered the room, her attitude and demeanor were very off-putting. She introduced herself with a quick, "Hey, I'm Mackenzie," and immediately got started. There was very little warmth or communication, and the cleaning felt extremely rushed and rough. While she was scaling my teeth, it honestly felt like she was aggressively scraping around my mouth as quickly as possible rather than taking her time. I am also seven months pregnant, and I was reclined very far back while repeatedly being told, "Turn your head this way. More. More. More towards me." I was already physically uncomfortable, but the biggest issue was that she repeatedly stabbed/poked my gums with the instrument. I finally told her directly that she was hurting my gums and asked her to please slow down. Instead of acknowledging what I was saying or adjusting her technique, she huffed, continued, and then abruptly stopped and asked, "Is that better?" At that point, we were already more than halfway through, so I told her I was just ready to finish. However, the same thing continued happening. Eventually, I told her I did not think this was going to work and asked for someone else to finish because I was too uncomfortable. I asked her how she would feel if someone repeatedly stabbed her in the gums, and her response was essentially that if I were a hygienist, she would allow me to do it to her. That response was completely unnecessary, dismissive, and unprofessional. Being a dental hygienist does not mean a patient should be expected to sit there quietly while repeatedly being hurt especially after clearly communicating that something is painful and asking the hygienist to slow down. What bothered me just as much as the rough cleaning was the cocky, sassy, and dismissive attitude I received when I tried to advocate for myself. I wasn't disrespectful to her, I simply asked her to stop hurting me and slow down. I have been a patient at this office for years, long before they had this new hygienist, and I have never had an experience like this here before. That is exactly why this interaction stood out so much and why I felt it was important to leave this review. Patients should be able to communicate when they are in pain or uncomfortable without receiving an attitude in return. I sincerely hope management addresses this because this was absolutely not the level of care or professionalism I have come to expect from Comfort Dental Midtown.

Dr. Lane Anderson is very skillful and thorough. I had no pain at all the whole process. I worked with two other dentists in Thomas L. Anderson, DDS and Associates. With first dentist, I had to go back to ask for cleaning some material up. (I forgave him as he was a new dentist.) With the second dentist, it was also a crown, the temporary tooth came off right away, I had to go back. This dentist at that time had 10 years of experience. He also needed his assistant Jensen to properly put the final crown into my mouth due to his finger is too big for my mouth. Not sure what his issue was really! They sent paperwork to fill out prior to the appointment, unfortunately there was a typo so I had to fill it out when I arrived. After I was left in the waiting room until about 7:35 which was slightly frustrating since I had a 7a appt time. Aside from the those things. I was very impressed with the friendly staff and Dr. Jackson was awesome! Friendly, gentle and kind! I ended up needing an additional appointment which they were able to fit me in the next day!
