I'm a little picky, and so I like how thorough the cleanings and screenings are. Dr Chavez replaced all of my old fillings with porcelain that matches my teeth. Still looks so much better, and it's been years. She did my crown years ago, bite is perfect, no problems. And I'm about to finish Invisalign. Such a wonderful, nice and informative staff. Everyone is so friendly and great at explaining what they are doing and any follow up that might be needed. The chairs are comfy and even can give you a massage if you want. The office is very clean, the staff is wiping down equipment after using it to keep a sterile environment. Since I started coming here with Dr. Briana I just can't wait for my next visit to get work done for a healthier and nice smile! All the staff is great and very friendly, Katie up at the front is very helpful with any questions or concerns you may have. I get all my cleans done here and just any work in general, I recently finished my Invisalign and let me tell you I could not be any happier with the results. My daughter has been going to this Dr. Chavez for years. The office staff and the Dentist are extremely pleasant and it is always a wonderful experience. However, at my last visit we went in for a basic cleaning and I paid out of pocket due to a lapse in insurance so I took a close look at the invoice. In addition to the cleaning fee we were charged an "Oral Evaluation Fee" of $74 was charged. Apparently there is a fee for the dentist to look in your mouth and say everything looks good. This just appears to be junk fee and the reason for the three star rating. read more

I can't believe it took me this long to post a review! I have already referred Dr. Chavez to a ton of people AND she deserves even more praise. She's like the babysitter you won't tell your friends about, but here I am anyway on yelp singing her praises. 1st - I'm a gigantic baby when it comes to the dentist. I'd been seeing the same dentist for 30 years and finally my wife got me to switch after a big bill we received because it was out of network with our insurance. So I went to my wife's dentist. Big mistake!!! It was honestly the experience you read about or see in movies that makes you hate the dentist. So after I cried and complained to my wife she asked her friends and told them what a baby I was and they referred Dr. Chavez. (Thank God!) What I really am obsessed with about Dr. Chavez is how she runs her business. It is so well thought out. My goal is to run my real estate business the way she runs her dental business. The entire staff really care, they are so friendly and welcoming, her office is immaculate, they do EVERYTHING they can think of to make you comfortable. Super accommodating of your schedule. Amazing experience! My dentist for the last 10 years moved and did not give us a referral. We contacted Dr. Angelici in Fountain Valley, who is a wonderful orthodontist, and her office manager, Philippa, highly recommended Dr. Chavez. They squeezed me in the next day due to my tooth pain & my 1st visit was awesome. They were very nice and they really cared about my tooth issue. Dr. Chavez referred me to Dr. Jason Cho, in Irvine and he performed a difficult Root Canal THE SAME DAY, that saved my tooth from needing to be extracted. So thankful to everyone involved. I have been going to Dr Chavez for about 9 months now. I've had bad experiences at other dentist offices and needed a new dentist. Dr Chavez and her staff are very gentle and there has never been a wait in the waiting room. They even have heated and massaging dental chairs. What a way to relax while getting your teeth worked on. Originally, I had to wait a year due to HMO dental coverage and when I finally switched over to PPO and was able to make an appointment with her, SHE actually had answered the phone at that time.
