Janet and Jaime somehow remember everything...your spouse, your kids, your job, your vacation plans, and probably what you had for lunch last Tuesday. They make every visit feel less like an appointment and more like catching up with old friends. Dr. Jorgenson is simply outstanding. He's incredibly knowledgeable, takes the time to explain everything, and never makes you feel rushed. No question is too small, and you always leave feeling informed and confident about your care. And Katie, my dental hygienist, is the best in the business. She's thoughtful, thorough, and somehow makes having sharp instruments in your mouth a pleasant experience. She's personable and easy to talk to, but also knows that not everyone wants a full conversation while someone's polishing their teeth. It's a rare talent. The office has seen me through regular cleanings, deep cleanings, Invisalign, and even a root canal. If there's a dental loyalty program, I think I've earned platinum status by now. No matter the procedure, I've always felt I was in great hands. What I appreciate most is that this office genuinely cares about people. Not just their patients, but the community as well. Their commitment to giving back says a lot about who they are and the culture they've built. Advanced Dental Care - Best dental hygienist!!! - General Dentistry Near Me - Costa Mesa, California

My last visit with this dentist left me really upset and disappointed. During the procedure, he chipped my front side tooth and admitted it happened. He then asked if I wanted to remove and replace that tooth too but I would have had to pay for it myself. At that point, I honestly just wanted to leave because I was afraid more damage could happen. I originally went in for work on one tooth that only had a stain. Somehow, I was convinced to replace that tooth, but the process ended up involving shaving down the two healthy teeth next to it in order to place the replacement tooth in the middle. If I had known from the beginning that this was the plan, I would have never agreed to it. Now the chipped tooth has a white mark/stain that people constantly mistake for food stuck between my teeth. On top of that, I was told the dental work would last around 10 years, but it did not even last 6. I'm wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience with this dentist. I was a little bit nervous about having my teeth cleaned, Katie was my dental hygienist and she help me relax by telling me about herself and explaining her gentle and thorough technique she uses on her patients teeth. I have to mention, I had a great time visiting the dentist when Katie laughed with me a when I made my humorous jokes, something I do when I'm nervous, I truly felt like I have been friends with her for a long time. I have quite a fear of dentists and had been avoiding the dentist for years, but this dental practice made me feel comfortable and welcome. The dentist was very quick with doing my crown and when my temporary crown cracked, they were able to fix it right away. Katie, the hygienist, did my deep cleaning and catered to my quirks and assuaged my anxiety around dentistry. She made me genuinely laugh, which has never happened before in a dental office, to where even a dental assistant who was helping me asked if I was doing okay. What a wonderful and caring dentist office this is. I have terrible fear of dentist and recently needed to get a second opinion and replacement dentist to get a crown inlay. The appointment was easy to make online, and confirmed later by phone call. Dr. Iris, her assistant, and the front desk staff have made sure I have a really comfortable experience. I appreciated one of their staff for ensuring what could and most likely not covered by my dental insurance ahead of time. I knew exactly what or how much and why things cost the way it does. What I should be doing before the procedure. What to expect afterwards. What the differences in the material used for the crown, how long it lasts, and ultimately which one I should be deciding based on the information. This office also offers sedation dentistry, which is perfect for patients like me who gets bad dental anxiety. I have gagged and thought I was going to drown getting my teeth worked on in the past because of the fear of pain. Yes, mouth, gum, and teeth gets numbed, but a dentist have hit the root as a child and it was awful. Something I never quite got over even as an adult. On the day of my procedure, I had anxiety induced nausea and vomiting on the but the staff were very understanding about it. I received a card in the mail after my first visit that made a big difference in my perception about getting my dental care there. It meant a lot to me that someone had taken the time to write a hand written card mailed, and it's not because of a bill or the holiday season. I struggled with lots of dental anxiety due some not so good experiences so I did a little research and stumbled across this dental office close to my home with great reviews, and the reviews don't lie. I had an amazing experience with Dr. Iris and Deirdre, they took care of me so well and made sure I was comfortable and understood everything that was going on with my dental plan, even let me listen to music while the did some work which helped soothe my anxiety. Danielle from the front office was also amazing at explaining the cost and process of how my dental plan and insurance would work together which was very nice as I am in my 20s figuring out how insurance works without my parents help. I was long overdue for a visit and came across this place on Yelp. I called on Monday and was able to get an appointment by Thursday! The entire staff was incredibly kind and attentive. A special shoutout to the hygienist, Kara, for being so thorough--she made me so comfortable, answered all my questions, and walked me through my treatment plan in detail. I also had two chipped bottom teeth, which they were able to smooth out during the same visit. If there were Oscars for dentistry, Dr. Jeremy B. Jorgenson would be giving an acceptance speech right now. I came in expecting medieval torture, and instead got a smooth, borderline luxurious root canal. Who knew that was even possible? He and his team are total pros--friendly, funny, and so good at what they do, I almost forgot I was having nerve tissue removed from my tooth. The guy has hands like a magician and the calming energy of a yoga instructor. Honestly, I left thinking, "That wasn't bad at all... do I need another one?" (Don't worry, I'm not volunteering.) It has been a minute since I have felt compelled to write a review good or bad. In this case, it has to be one of the most positive experience I've ever had at a practice. For my very first phone call to speaking to Janet to set an appointment to the last minute of leaving the office today after my exam. Janetwas incredibly helpful in getting me in with an appointment. Literally next day for exam and cleaning. I'm a flight attendant and my schedule can be very hectic. She was so accommodating on working with me. I came to the office afternoon, was greeted by a friendly staff and taken back to the room immediately. The hygienist did my x-rays and cleaning and my surprise no deep cleaning was needed. No upsell of anything like I usually experience other dental providers. She was extremely thorough and even explained to me how to floss a particular tooth to get it in better health. I have some small chips in my front teeth and I was on the fence about whether I need veneers or cosmetic bonding. Dr. Jergenson explained all of my options thoroughly and left the door open for me to decide on what would work best for me. Hands-down, literally one of the best dental providers I've ever had the opportunity to visit. I would give them five stars over and over again.- I decided to do cosmetic bonding on my front teeth for now just to see how I like to look.
