Mid-Cities Irrigation installed my sprinklers a year ago. I recently had Darryl back out to check my system after having my property landscaped. Darryl identified an area that required new sprinkler heads (It was all stones before but now has plantings). The crew had to dig up the new plantings to install the new heads. They over bid and over charge. They also put my drains in wrong. I had to call another company to fix it.

I will note that there have been weather issues...however, I had to wait a month for them to come fix a sprinkler that was spraying 6 ft in the air. The day they were supposed to come fix it, I got an email stating that I would be re-scheduled due to rain (although it was barely raining). I begged them to come out and do the repair, which luckily they did. When they were out tending to the initial repair, they discovered a substantial leak with a busted pipe. I was thankful they found that! We scheduled it to get fixed about a week later. When the day came, they never called and were eventually 2 hours late (although they tried to reschedule that). Then, they didn't schedule enough time for the busted pipe repair (even though it had been scheduled for a week), I had to turn my whole sprinkler system off, and wait another week ...and then AGAIN they didn't call and no one was there when they said they'd be there .... A simple task of making a phone call is the easiest thing in the world to gain understanding....but when a company doesn't bother to call or show up then I don't know where you go from there? I found another company that came and fixed my leak 2 days later... If you use this company you need to practice lots of patience.... read more

Just had Mid-Cities Irrigation work on my sprinklers and as usual they did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. They are very knowledgeable, courteous, and through. Since it's the "busy" season for this industry you may have to wait but they are worth it. I have used several others in the area and they are always trying to sell me more than I need. In addition they send out as many as 3 people for a one-person job so you get charged for the number of people, not just for the job. Mid-Cities are worth the wait. read more

Great service and reasonable prices from a locally family owned business with 3 generations of family members still actively involved and hands on in the daily business. They installed my original system and also did the repairs just last week which were necessitated by AT&T's idiot contractors who tore it up while they were installing their fiber optic cable in the easement of my front yard! read more

We have used them at two houses so far, and our next door neighbor the same. We had them quote french drains to solve a swamp problem between the houses, including direct connection of the downspouts, and install a couple of shrubs and an oak tree, while next door they installed a patio and gazebo. Super high quality work. They aren't the cheapest (you can always get a cheaper price elsewhere) but they are the best. For service, ask for Stephen, also the best. Also we had them trek on down to Mansfield to ressurect a dead sprinkler system at my son's place. Very reasonable price. read more

Boy, do I have stories. Let me summarize so you don't fall asleep reading this, however. Basically, the neighbor behind us had a foundation leak resulting in our yard getting flooded and destroyed. it was discovered and fixed due to the tireless efforts of Mr. Bishop and his crew. He discovered where the issue was coming from and worked with the city to get it resolved in a timely manner. If he hadn't insisted on the city getting involved and forcing those homeowners to fix their problem I'd still be left with a flooded backyard and no clue what to do. The neighbors finally got a plumber and the water flow into our yard stopped. Darrell then drained my yard, brought in dirt, fixed it up, and installed French drains with sod. The overall cost was more than originally estimated but I can't fault that man for that, we had no idea the work and time that would end up going into fixing the ongoing problem with the neighbor. He and his crew were professional, friendly, determined, and trustworthy. He has over 30 years experience in this business and it shows. I am very pleased with the service we received and will definitely call him again with any irrigation or landscaping in the future. read more
