Came in On a slow Saturday night, maybe 5 other tables in the whole place. Sat at the bar and was engaged immediately. Solid bartender was attentive but not overly so... Got the BH40 burger- was cooked perfectly medium rare as ordered. And the fries were HOT and well seasoned. My Wife and I were headed upto see Rocky Mountain National Park and we stopped in Granby for lunch. We passed the restaurant stopped, turned around and went in. Our server's name was Emily, she made the whole experience just fabulous. Emily was fun, friendly and welcoming. We had one half of the Summer chopped salad that was beautiful and delicious. And The Best sandwich we have ever had!!! Called " Bad A$$ Grilled Cheese ". A great cocktail called "Fuzzy Tea" is a fun new taste. The lunch is was worth the drive from Denver. We had a horrible service experience and it totally falls on the manager. First let me say the food was very good, but we were a group of 8 and one person didn't get their food until everyone was done. The manager told the kitchen to box the food to go even though we didn't ask for that. The manager didn't even speak to us and left a new waitress to deal with the issue. We are from out of town and we wanted to see what it was all about. People we waiting for tables and the waiting list was 2 hours so yes we wanted to see what it was all about. Food was good but the service was horrible, our waiter would drop things off at our table and not acknowledge anyone. And not just 1 or 2 times but over and over. We wanted to visit for happy hour yesterday. We figured 3:30 would be early enough to avoid any wait time and would allow our hungry kids to get some dinner as we are on another time zone. When we arrived, Courtney asked if we had a reservation and I said no. Nothing I read indicated we needed one, so I was a little disappointed by this, yet I understand the Covid safety precautions. She said it would be about 40 minutes. She asked for a name and number, which I gave her. I confirmed how we would know when the table was ready. She said she would text us. We visited some of the shops and then waited in the car for her to text. After an hour with five very hungry kids, we decided to find food elsewhere. After we figured out where to go and were driving away, I called to cancel our reservation. I gave Courtney my name and she asked me for the number of people in my party, which puzzled me since I thought she had taken down all my information an hour ago. I told her the same number I gave her earlier. She said we "totally could come in as the table has been ready." I told her we were driving away and was disappointed she never notified us. If you plan to dine here, be sure to make reservations because they are unreliable about notifying you if you're on the waitlist. read more

I very rarely write yelp reviews but felt compelled after our visit here. This is only about the management since we we didn't stay long enough for food. We were looking forward to dinner, even though they only received 3 stars. The place has a cool vibe. We walked in the door at 7pm and the guy that greeted us asked if we wanted to wait at the bar as the kitchen staff was overloaded. In fairness to him, we heard him telling everyone that arrived after us the same. Unfortunately, they seated at least 3 parties that arrived after us before he even came back. He finally came back to the bar and helped a group that came in after us first, eventually asking if we wanted to order at the bar. That was 7:30, half hour after we walked in the door. We paid for our drinks and left. Went to Mavericks down the street and were served immediately. Ran into another customer that had the same experience Get you sh*t together! We may never be back in Granby again and felt like we had to let others know or let management know so they can improve read more

Came here during mud season, when nothing in granby was too packed, so maybe that's why it felt a little bit dead. Decor is nice and modernized and they have a nice fireplace. The bartender was friendly and happy to change the game on TV so that my family could watch the BC game they were hoping to see. Food was ok- my dad got a pizza (which was meh) and i got the avocado dish, which is two baked avocados halves served with salad, balsamic and pico de Gallo. It was essentially as weird as it sounded. But the manager noticed that i didn't eat much of it and generously offered to bring me something else or give me a coupon for a free drink for my next visit. Definitely wouldn't come here for the food, but with a friendly and accommodating staff, I'd say it's a nice local place for a drink. read more

We waited 20 minutes for a table (not the problem), but I had to check in with the hostess after 3 tables were sitting cleaned and open in order to be seated. We went for a Christmas morning drive through the Granby, Tabernash, Kremmling area. Finding ourselves in Granby at lunch time we we fortunate to find an open restaurant. Not looking like much from the outside, the Brickhouse 40 was much nicer inside than we expected. Alex our server was extremely nice and accommodating. The interior has a big fireplace, lots of tables and booths, and a full bar. The food was better than the usual bar food, and the prices are reasonable. I had the bison chili which was very good, but might be a bit spicier than the average person would like, and the Thai coconut shrimp appetizer was good, but a bit pricey. We will definitely visit again when in Granby. read more

The Brickhouse continues to solidify its standing in Granby. New owners have improved much, though unfortunately prices went up and some favorite menu items vanished. We have become fans of Saturday night when there are usually excellent local bands. Though a bit pricey, the food is very good, as is the beer and wine selection. We had dinner here last night (July 2) and we called ahead to have our name put on the list. They were pretty busy with only two waitresses as one had called out sick. I thought the staff was really friendly and worked through a difficult shift with up beat attitudes. We weren't in a rush so weren't upset to have to wait due to a rush in the kitchen. The food was so good, unexpectedly so since seemed a strange place to get a delicious homemade pasta dish and pork chop. Eric the bartender was also very accommodating.
