Ordered a veggie burger (solid!), spicy original, and original burger and large fries. Ended up around $30. My family loved the food and when I picked up the order, they did tell me the fries are cooked in beef fat or seasoning or something like that and asked if I still wanted them (knowing vegetarians ordered veggie burgers). I do wish they put this on the menu before we ordered but grateful they shared. They very well could've not told me. My family enjoyed them. The only thing that can be improved is the cleanliness. I think the diner chairs were a bit dirty and could use a scrub down. Other than fries I wished I could eat and a bit of a scrub, we were pleased to come here.

If you're looking for a place where the locals hang out and everyone knows everyone, this is it. We had a great time, even though we were new. We def will be back. And, if it's summer time when you go, ask for their watermelon sangria. So good.

We kept it simple with a few neat pours of whiskey and enjoyed soaking in the vibe. We didn't try the food this visit, but after seeing what was coming out of the kitchen, we'll definitely be back to do that next time. If you're looking for a laid-back local spot in Idaho Springs, The Vintage Moose is worth a stop.

There was no chili, no pork, nothing -- just basic mac and cheese that tasted like it came straight out of a box. My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with lettuce, blue cheese, and the works. Instead, it arrived with just chicken and bread. That was it. No toppings at all. The water we were given was also incredibly dirty -- it literally looked grey. Service somehow managed to be both overwhelming and nonexistent. While we were eating, the waiter came back to the table every couple of seconds so we couldn't even have a conversation. But when we were actually ready for the check, suddenly there was no waiter anywhere and we fwaited about 15 minutes. On top of that, every request got mixed up. I asked for blue cheese and after about 10 minutes the waiter came back with ranch. Then I asked for lemon vinaigrette (which the meal was supposed to come with) and instead got honey mustard. After explaining again, she came back with... even more honey mustard. We also paid $10 for fries with green chili and received about 15 fries. And one more thing when paying they did NOT bring my card back for about 20 minutes. It was also extremely dark where we were sitting all of the surrounding lights were off but everywhere else in the resteraunt was perfectly fine Overall the food quality, service, and attention to orders were extremely disappointing. Definitely not an experience I'd repeat don't waste your money here.

This 12% ABV mead is def a sold brew and the nitro makes it super smooth and it had zero cough-medicine-esque notes. The chokecherries are locally sourced from the very own yard too! How fun! They have a small variety of every brew style available and a handful of guest taps too. SERVICE: The beertender working was super helpful and friendly as I browsed the tap list. She offered to answer any questions I had and brought over a food menu to in case I was craving something more substantial with my beverage. EATS: They share a space with The Dean West Restaurant and Brewstillery, so they do offer a variety of eats out of the from scratch kitchen. So the big four: Price, taste, ambiance and service were very lacking. The waitress was nice, but not very quick on picking up plates for the customers, or on running our credit card. Will not be going here again.

I don't typically write reviews but it felt necessary after visiting this brewery/distillery when passing through Kremmling. My initial thought was good energy, but after waiting 15 minutes on a slow day to even be noticed, the bartenders seemed distracted, overworked and understaffed. Still, after all the good reviews I was interested in giving this establishment a try. When I walked to the bathroom I noticed a clear view to the entire kitchen... I was so shocked to see such uncleanliness and unprofessionalism in the kitchen, employees eating and drinking in the cook area as they are "working" and cooking their customers' meals. Food and drink (unrelated to what they were serving) was everywhere. Messes on the floor, on the counters, etc. I have never seen so many health code violations presented in plain sight. I'm not saying don't give this play a chance, but be aware, there is very poor concern for cleanliness and what is being served. read more

Want a home town feel with some excellent food and service. This the place to stop! Payton's warm smile is as inviting as the fine tasting food. You will miss out if you don't stop by and say hi. Disappointing customer service…read more I stopped by for lunch with my medically trained service dog. I was told dogs were not allowed. I clarified that my dog was a service dog and that I would sit outside. After I said that, I was met with what felt like a cold response and was simply told, "ok." After I sat outside, the same server approached and said, "We don't allow dogs on the patio either." For a second time, I explained that my dog was not a pet but a service dog. The server then responded with something along the lines of, "If it really is, that's ok." At that point, I decided not to eat at the restaurant. I mentioned that refusing service to someone because of a service dog is illegal. The server responded that he did not hear me say my dog was a service dog earlier, which was confusing because we had already gone back and forth about it. A man claiming to be the owner then came out and did not seem concerned about the situation or interested in addressing the issue, only concerned about the dog. He repeated that the server didn't hear me which I find extremely hard to believe due to the back-and-forth exchange and cold response initially when mentioning the dog is a service dog.
