I know that Covid is here and effecting everyone, but I had a terrible experience with the hostess staff. My 5 year old daughter and I were up for an overnight on a Monday and walked in. The hostess stated the wait would be 25 minutes and we gave her my number and walked back out in the cold. We were staying down the street, so we went back there. After 45 minutes and no text, we went over there to check in. The blonde hostess then said, "Sorry, but now its a 15 minute wait". My daughter was hungry and we went elsewhere. Four of us went to the restaurant on a Saturday night at about 6pm without a reservation. The hostess was very personable even as she was bussing tables, seating guests, and talking with guests. She was able to turn over a table for us even though it was very busy and the soonest reservation was 8pm. The restaurant itself is attractive, nice bar, and nice ambiance. Laura, our server, had five tables seated at about the same time, but came over and introduced herself quickly and let us know that there would probably be a little wait for drinks and food. She was on top of everything, we were ready to order drinks, appetizers, and entrees and she took them all at once. Everything was served in order, and the ahi tuna appetizer was very good. All of the entrees, chicken piccata, tacos, a burger, and the risotto were very good and the portions meant we needed boxes. We were excited to try this place out because it looks really nice, but some of the reviews were mixed. Our waitress was nice but new to the restaurant and wasn't able to answer all of our questions about the different menu items. It took awhile for our drinks to arrive and when they did, one of them was not what had been ordered. Not a huge deal, she fixed it right away. Our waitress absolutely RAVED about the chef, so we had high expectations for our food. When it arrived, the pizza my husband ordered was not only wrong, but also really soggy & undercooked. The badass grilled cheese sandwich I ordered was underwhelming; the idea was great, but the sandwich was only lukewarm and overall boring. Our son, however, LOVED his Stromboli - it was piping hot, loaded with meat, and he just raved about it. When my husband's 2nd pizza arrived, it was hot, (although undercooked), but at least they had gotten the ingredients right. Overall he was not a fan. The decor was nice but we all found the chairs to be too short for the table we were sitting at, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Went here Tuesday and literally the worst service I've ever had. The waitress NEVER got us refills, just brought us the first round and that was it. Then we watched our food sit up under the heat lamps for 20 minutes while our server walked by and looked at it multiple times. She even stood in front of it for 5 minutes staring at the order screen. By the time it got to us the burger was soggy and lukewarm and the pasta was dried out and barely warm. We asked for extra Alfredo and she walked by the cup a number of times and never brought it to us. Total came out right under $100 so we gave $100 cash and she never brought our change, didn't even ask. It wasn't that busy it looked like she was purposely ignoring all of the tables she had and all the food on the counter. It was ridiculous. Only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the flavor was decent. read more

Menu has changed since the last time I was here a few years ago. If you love pizza, Strombolis or sandwiches, this for you. We arrived at an odd time and got the lunch menu. I have the chicken salad with the summer crop salad, which was delicious, but I didn't get bread, so hoped the salad was bigger to make up for no bread. Our server, Sawyer, had a beyond embarrassing performance for our large party. Not only did she provide some wonderful plastic cups without ice, she also never thought to ask if we would like any beverages other than our tepid water(had to ask for pitchers, too). The person we were celebrating didn't get her food until everyone had finished eating because she didnt ring it in, and her dish also came without chicken, so she got some noodles. Never were we asked if we enjoyed the dishes that were ran to us from the hostess and a hodgepodge of other staff members. We could see the food on the expo for 30 minutes and not once was any quality control on her part done, or concern for providing a quality experience. We're a family that rarely gets together for anything like this, and to say it put a damper on the evening is being generous. There are at least 5 more things to say, but i have things to do. Delicious meal while on a little mountain vacay. I had the baked avocado app with goat cheese (and split this with my 9 month old who LOVED it)! I also had a bowl of the elk chili. The chili was a very generous portion and had a great "red" chili flavor. My husband had the meatloaf which was okay, but the sides of mashed potatoes and grilled zucchini were phenomenal. We stopped in Granby for the evening on our road trip. The Brickhouse 40 looked modern and clean. It was dinner time so there was a wait to be seated. We opted to sit at the bar which wasn't packed. The service was slow, even to just get a drink. Thought of leaving but was too tired after driving all day. We finally placed our order and had our drinks. No one really loved the food. We ordered pepperoni pizza and caprese salad and a few other things which escape me. Maybe we were just too tired or ordered the wrong thing. It wasn't bad but it wasn't great. read more

We came in when they were short staffed as well as they got bombarded with a rush of people at the same time. The server/bartender handled it like a champ with a smile on her face. Due to the situation the service was a little slow but our server Abby was incredibly Awesome. She made everything so right with apologizing for the situation and making sure we knew they valued us as their guest.
