We had the poorest excuse for a Navajo taco I have ever had! Normally you will get a pillowy fry bread with taco fixings but this was anything but that. Our usual Granby restaurant choice could not accommodate us (they were closing) and referred us to Granby Garage where we were very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, service prompt & friendly and the full bar and many tvs lend to a fantastic ambiance. The staff did not rush us (several groups came in behind us) and they were extremely attentive. This may be our new favorite place in Granby. I had the BLAT w/broccoli & carrots on the side - divine! If I walk into a place and see a sign like this, I am expecting a dining experience and getting to know the people in this place. We loved it. We're full time RVers and we're staying in a nearby RV park. We travel all around mostly the western states so we get a chance to really get a chance to try all sorts of places in small towns like this one. We stopped in here for a late lunch. What worked: My 'Counter Burger' was so dang good! I had the Watermelon cocktail. It was delicious The manager came out to help us find our spot and get seated. He offered an inside seat but we wanted to sit outside with our doggie. What didn't work: No pets on the patio so there was a table outside in front near the food truck. We had to order to go and we sat outside the front door. There is something odd about the entrance surface right in front of the door. I saw two people trip, one coming in and one coming out. This is a great restaurant about 20 to 30 minutes outside of the west side of Rocky Mountain National Park. We didn't know much about about it but decided to stop because it had good reviews. The outside patio was a nice, relaxed atmosphere with a view of the mountains. When we arrived, they brought us complimentary doritos. They are not the bag type. Check their menu to read about them. I ordered the primavera salad it was good and my husband ordered the counter burger. Both were delicious. We also tried a local beer called the 90 Schilling which was an amber. At the time of this writing, this restaurant is 6 days old! The hipster, mountain casual restaurant was once a place that I got a new headlight installed on my car, so it looked slightly familiar for the location.....but that's where the similarities end. The place has been completely remodeled, keeping only the trendy garage doors that allowed a nice breeze on a summer day in Granby! If you read my reviews, you know that I love me some Azteca, another restaurant in town...so imagine my surprise when the owner of Azteca popped out to ask if I liked my salad! Yep, he owns this one too. This menu has a mix of American Grill food, steaks, burgers, wings with some Mexican favorites like fish tacos and nachos along with some great starters and dinner or side salads. I had a salad with strawberries, fresh greens, arugula, pine nuts, topped with perfectly cooked, grilled jumbo shrimp with a light strawberry vinaigrette. Not too big, not too small, perfect for summer.....delicious salad! They were not yet quite ready for takeout, but agreed to provide me some buffalo wings and their recommended mango habanero wings to take home to my husband....okay, extra points for going the extra mile! I had to try those mango habanero wings....delicious, my lips still tingling, but not too too hot! My husband enjoyed both wings: large, tender and juicy, served with ranch or blue cheese. I have a feeling this place will do well! Love the patio option as well as comfortable indoor dining, bar area with 5 TV's, great concept by someone who already has a successful restaurant in Granby! Decent place in the mountains. Tacos are ok. Burger good. The grilled cheese is good without the added soft cheese on top (queso) as it's a fat bomb with all that added. Drawback....staff overspray Clorox tables all around us before closing while we were still eating which made it overpowering vs spraying on cloth to avoid so many fumes with food or just waiting until After close since we were the last couple of tables for the night. read more

The server had them memorized, which is good, because I do not believe that as of the time I am writing this they have any sort of published beer list. Stopped in on a recent Saturday while out on the two wheeler...Burger selection was not exactly what I wanted so I ordered a cheeseburger and sauted shrooms and onions...perhaps I should have been more explicit, because they were sautéed but in big chunks, so I couldn't put most of them on my burger..Also, they have an awesome front area with astroturf and tables...it was a beautiful day, but they chose not to open it up...maybe the typical labor shortage??..I will likely return. Dinner here was a delicious surprise. The service was prompt, attentive, and very friendly. We devoured the fish and shrimp tacos. The nachos were good, although the portion was very small. This place is awesome! From the atmosphere to the staff to the food, this is THE place to go in Granby. We're doing a progressive dinner tonight and this was our "entree" spot. The tacos were so good, the Bloody Mary was amazing, and my husband loved his beers. The only thing that wasn't awesome was the Margarita. It tasted like it was a mix as opposed to a fresh drink.
