Awesome atmosphere both inside and out. Service was adequate, albeit a little slow considering there wasn't a whole lot going on during our visit (we were the first ones there and one of only a few during entire visit). The Cheese Curd appetizer was very mediocre. Not a lot of flavor, tasted like nothing but breading. The Feisty Chicken Sandwich was solid - nice flavor, everything balanced nicely. Extremely disappointing experience. There were three of us, and we waited over an hour for our food while many other tables waited even longer. When the burgers arrived, the buns were rock hard and completely inedible. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, with only two waitresses working. I walked near the kitchen and saw just two burgers on the grill while multiple tables were still waiting, which suggests serious issues with kitchen efficiency or staffing. No managers or owners, which should have been there. read more

The Brickhouse had quick and friendly service! We had beer-battered walleye, a Rueben, garlic fettuccini Alfredo with Shrimp, the Pub Chicken burger, and a Caesar salad with Cajun dusted chicken. The food was all great. It was an additional bonus that we were able to walk to the Polaris Experience Center to check out their museum and purchase some swag without leaving the building. Very cool place. Museum next door has some of the most amazing old school snowmobiles I've ever seen. Burgers are solid.

And then you get ketchup, packets, and tartar sauce, packets with your meal? The staff is not trained properly and is many times rude. I last ordered chicken wings to go and they were rotten. Very unfriendly not at all like the rest of the people in Roseau. Stay away and go to any other restaurant...legends bar was totally accomidating and bent over backwards for our business. Let me start with great ambiance! Cozy and clean with great service! I had the Faux burger without cheese or bleu cheese. It was pretty great... a little spice kick to it, texture was pretty good. Fries were hot and fresh and deeeelicious! The Bad... Charging me an extra $2.25 for lettuce, tomato and onion with a side of BBQ sauce is ridiculous when you just milked me for 12 bucks on a veggie burger...Seriously?! That kind of crap pisses me off! Breakdown of wallet wrenching... $12 Veggie burger with sweet potato fries on top $.50 for 1/2 of 1 piece of romaine $.50 for 2, 1/4 inch slices of a Roma tomato $.50 for 3 individual rings of a red onion $.75 for 1/2 of a small 1oz cup of BBQ sauce This turns into... $1.50 for 1 Roma tomato $12 for 1 head of romaine $12 for 1 red onion $36 for 1 24oz bottle of BBQ sauce This place appears to be owned by Polaris. I guess they think that since Polaris customers will pay $600 for a helmet, they will pay through the nose for toppings that usually come on every hamburger served in any restaurant in any country on the freaking planet. Since my server was very good, I can't gouge this $2.25 from her; but I won't come back here either. I'll stop at the only other restaurant in town. They went out of their way to hookup the vegan guy with a naan bread stuffed with grilled veggies and only charged him for a grilled cheese. Oh yeah! My ketchup bottle was so old I was afraid to use the ketchup. Where I come from it's illegal to refill the ketchup bottles day after day because they just keep adding to the top. It's also never been sanitized in the dishwasher because the label is still on the bottle but it's obviously very, very old. In closing... If paying for condiments doesn't piss you off, this place is great. Good food, nice people and the Polaris museum is attached to the front of the building. I rated it low because I am so pissed about paying extra after already paying a hiked up burger price to keep the lights on in the museum. read more

We has a great experience at this restaurant, we are from out of town and we're looking for a nice place to have dinner for my husband's birthday. We ordered the duck & bacon wantons, Queen prime rib special-cooked perfectly, cheesecake for desert. There is a coffee shop (Caribou) that is attached to the restaurant and since we wanted expresso we ask the waitress if it was ok if we brought a couple over to have with our desert. When we were done eating we went to the Polaris museum (in the same building) and were given a tour. read more

My team came here during our hockey tournament and they put up with all of our shit. They had good service and we really nice.

Had an opportunity to eat dinner here while visiting Roseau. The atmosphere is great for casual dining in the bar area. Our food was served quickly and was hot. Had a Brickhouse Burger and Dad's prime rib sandwich. Both were phenomenal. The prim rib sandwich was so flavorful and tender. It has to be one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The service was great. The bar was close to full and there was one server. She was able to keep up and get our orders and drinks accurately, she was super nice as well. I ordered a Mac and cheese with no meat on it 2 hours ahead. They know my face to my order, don't even have to ask what my name is/order bc I always get the same thing, Mac and cheese with no meat. I got my order and left, turns out there was bacon on it (and onions in my salads when I asked for none) and I called and said I could have it re made and be there in twenty minutes. I went up there and there was no manager on duty, Bre was very rude to me and demanded a refund and to never do service with me again. She had a bad attitude. All over a Mac and cheese. This is the only restaurant in town and they want to discriminate me because I don't eat meat. Very unprofessional. She acted like it was my fault my order wasn't right, when it was an employees fault and her fault for having plenty of time to make sure my order was correct, but she chose to never do service with me again. Is that even allowed? I'm not sure the manager knows how rude their employees are. read more

The food was terrible my wife and I went there for our anniversary and I asked the waitress not to be rude but the food tastes bad and asked for a refund and she replied what's wrong with it we need an actual reason because they cant just take the loss and they told us we can only go 50% off and only took 50% off of specific items. Our department recently ordered "to go" for our lunch hour. There are several complaints that I have: a) telephone service was quite rude. They told us that certain items (crunchy walleye sandwich) was unavailable and could only be ordered as an entrée. The cost difference is quite substantial. Maybe this should be removed from the website menu. When asked to substitute the French fries for mashed potatoes we were told that would not happen as they had a very large group in last night. You are a restaurant that should be able to accommodate such an easy substitution and having a large group the evening before isn't of any concern to me. b) this entrée also came with a salad. When asked which dressing, we stated "greek" as that was one of the other orders. We were told that is not available for a side salad. Really - it came in its own separate container "on the side". c) upon pick up of the orders, our boss had to make another trip away from our department to get the item that didn't get sent with the rest of the order. What was missed? the "greek" salad!! d) the walleye was overdone and very hard on both ends. I can't imagine paying entrée price for such a meal. I believe we have decided as a group that we will seek take-out elsewhere. read more

On 7/11/12 we went to this place on a recommendation. Dont waste your time. It took us an hour and a half for spag and meatballs. The meatballs where thawed and spag sauce was canned. The waitress was very nice and I felt bad for her but it looked like all the customers in the place where upset. Stick with the subway. read more

I purchased a $50 gift card from this establishment just prior to the owner's putting up a closed sign one day with no prior notification. The new owners will now not accept the gift card even though they advertised on Facebook that they would. I will never enter this business again.....as they obviously have extremely poor customer service. read more
