I had zero problems setting up a lease with Brickley's - and Brandy was great to work with. Kind, knowledgeable and quick - it was a pleasure. Their payment website is fantastic, too.

Do yourself a favor and totally skip renting from this company. I'm extremely upset and making this review because, I believe her name is Rachael, hung up on me when I called to complain to her that our swamp cooler has not been turned on yet and it's been over a month and a half since we made the FIRST maintenance order. We had someone come a week ago today to switch it over but the maintenance man couldn't find the water line so the switch over never happened. No one ever followed up with us when it would be switched over and it's a week later and it's nearly 80° in the house. My parents, who live here, are elderly with health issues. This is ridiculous beyond belief. This company should realize you need to prioritize and COMPLETE the maintenance request. Not just come over, not complete it, not follow up with your tenants and what? Wait for one of us to pass out from a heat stroke??? Absolutely RIDICULOUS. This is shameful. Rachael kept saying to me "there are a lot of rentals trying to get the switch over". Yes, I understand that. But have ALL of your rentals put in a maintenance order since APRIL 5th for it??? Highly doubt it. And then when I asked about them leasing a window AC unit I asked if I could get two and she said they only rent out one to each house, but since ours is a two-story "maybe" we could get two. If this was last month, sure. 1 unit. No problem. But this is 1.5 MONTHS LATER after our initial request to get it switched over! You SHOULD give us two for this ridiculous and dangerous inconvenience that could land someone in the hospital because it's so hot. Now obviously we have utilized fans in the house, bought some as well, keep the shades drawn the whole day. We do everything in our power to keep this place as cool as possible, but it's IMPOSSIBLE. I'm so upset with this company and I can't believe you treat your customers this way. We pay $1900 a month for this. Btw, I never yelled at Rachael, I did not curse at her. But I was stern and the tone of my voice was very upset, but I never yelled or insulted her or cursed at her. I can't believe she hung up on me. Ridiculous. You would also be cantankerous if you haven't slept right in weeks because you're constantly hot and uncomfortable. I also have 2 young children living here, 2 &9 and it's very dangerous and uncomfortable to try sleep when it's 80° in the house, even with fans blasting. This company should be ashamed themselves and their employees for treating their customers this way.

I just had an awful first introduction to this company. I am currently searching for a place to…read morelive and one of their properties was perfect! I attempted to schedule a tour through their website and it wasn't working. I couldn't click on any of the icons to find more dates or times. That is not their fault! Websites crash all the time. I decided to give them a call to try to get a tour scheduled. I wish I could remember the name of the employee that answered the phone because she was AWFUL. She answers the phone and gives the usual "Thank you for calling Maddox Management..." So I give her my name and give her the run down of the website not working and what street the listing I was interested was on. She cuts me off to say in the rudest tone, "You're gonna have to be more specific than that." In fact there was multiple times that as I was explaining the issue she cuts me off saying "Our website is working perfectly fine!" and "It probably means there was no times available for the day you're looking at!" After a couple times of her doing that and me saying "Well no, it wouldn't let me click on anything but that's why I thought it'd be easier to call," she finally asks me when I would like to set up the tour. I ask if they have any availability tomorrow or Sunday and I begin to say, "I'm not sure if you are available on the weekend and I know Sunday is Easter-" before she cuts me off again and says, "Well that's why the website wasn't working! We do tours Monday through Friday!" and I tell her that the website wouldn't even let me click the icon for more available dates. She continues speaking incredibly rude and outrageously unprofessionally towards me and I was so upset that I had to end the phone call. I truly wish I could leave an audio recording to explain how rude and unprofessionally she was speaking towards me. It was abhorrent. I shouldn't have hung up on her while she was still talking but I couldn't believe what I had just experienced. I would never dream of renting from a company who allows that kind of customer "service." Every other rental management place I've talked to or worked with has been wonderful when it comes to customer service. Ignoring the fact that all of the other reviews are just as bad if not worse than my experience, do not rent from this company. And Maddox Management, you need to either train your staff better or hire better people. You should be ashamed of the way you allow your company to be run and how your company shows up for your customers.

If you pay rent on time still charges late fees fraud I am told Do not trust them Get everything in writing. If sending by mail get a return receipt as says never received Rented same place 20 years and no problem until he messed lease up and now charges late fees even when check clears bank on time DO NOT TRUST!!!!!!!

The absolute worse ring of theft there is. Laptop stolen…read morewhen their contractor came to do work. Also they will accept your money and not fix their PROPERTY properly. My toilet is moldy and I was told to basically leave. Not only will this mold cause sickness but mold will kill a person, in which they have no remorse and would rather move another family in. The air didn't work for an entire month and not just the air - the property is is infested with bugs and ants. Again as an army veteran this is NOT acceptable. I'm home bound but can't live in my own home due to mold. And what make matters worse you can smell the mold overtime. They even sent a molly maid to scrub it who barely spoke English to avoid replacing the toilet. How is the other bathrooms toilet new but the master bedrooms toilet is ancient ancestry old. So many things I can go on about but it's not worth my time or sanity. Being that I moved out of a moldy home and back into one makes the situation worse.. and the fact they are aware, makes me furious. Poor veteran- poor me- rich rental property lol

I have a friend who lives in their property on Columbia NE. I believe 424 Columbia SE. I have never…read morebeen in such a hovel. I am personally reporting them to the housing authority. This place is so awful and what is with that horrible fence in the front. It smells it is dirty and I saw mice inside the apartment that had been reported and they never did anything. I am from the east coast I know how to get a cities attention for a slumlord like this. They are going to be so sorry they didn't fix this place up and instead just raises rent every time they get a chance. Laura Cordova - Integrity Asset Management…read more My wife and I owned three apartment buildings in downtown Albuquerque NM from 2006 through 2019. Prior to that, we had owned only single-family homes, doing both management and repairs ourselves. For the first six months, the apartments lost money due to high expenses and lax management by our first management company. Fortunately, our broker suggested Laura Cordova of Integrity Asset Management; she took over and soon turned things around. Laura is a high-energy individual, very professional, highly skilled in managing commercial and residential property, with years of experience in Albuquerque. Her personal dedication is amazing, and her attention to our investment was absolutely outstanding. There were many times during those years that Laura drove down in the middle of the night and spent hours dealing with some problem at our property. We had break-ins, flooding, even a fire: Laura put in the time, whatever was needed, to insure the safety and welfare of our tenants and property. We will always be grateful for her dedication and service. Laura is absolutely honest. As out-of-town owners, this was critical to the success of our investment. Early on we would fly in and visit the property just to check on things; in retrospect, this is laughable, but our prior management company had been so untrustworthy that we were very cautious. Of course, Laura always had everything under control and in perfect order: that is just who she is. We soon realized that our visits really added no value (and were probably more of a distraction), but we still enjoy sitting down with Laura for coffee or lunch when we visit Albuquerque. Every month, we received a complete monthly statement with all supporting documents and receipts, and a personal letter summarizing the month and future expectations. Her paperwork was always thorough and accurate. She has extensive local relationships for outside service providers, always knowing who to call for quality work, done quickly, and at reasonable prices. She knows the laws and regulations, she knows marketing, and she knows how to work with people. I believe she knew the names and situation of every tenant in every building, and could work with them effectively, while not letting that familiarity be taken advantage of. On one occasion she confronted a tenant that was causing a disturbance: she just walked up to this large man and put him into his place like a mother would a child, showing tremendous courage. You will not find a better property manager than Laura Cordova of Integrity Asset Management.
