So recently I told my boyfriend that I wanted to go to a toy store. And yes, I did mean…read morecollectibles, action figures, and the like. He came up with WaxPax, which was really fun to explore! Clearly at one point it was a record shop (the name gives it away of nothing else), and there's still a case of them in the middle of the room, but it's been subsumed by the mass quantities of toys and memerobilia that are crammed into this small storefront! Got a cartoon, sci fi film or other cult classic that you like? Chances are they have something from it. (I even saw a Danger Mouse figurine...does anyone aside from me remember that show?!) Edge your way through the quagmire of collectibles and take your time looking! The only thing I didn't find that I was seeking? Micro Machines! (Not the Star Wars etc. ones; just the old school mini cars. They did have lots of Hot Wheels though.) This place was pretty crowded on a week-end (read: 5 or 6 customers at once, which given the space was practically overflowing). Worth a stop if you are nearby, or a trip if you are a big collector!

We came specifically to look at funko pops which they had a decent amount of. Most were commons but priced extremely fair. The organization of them could have been a bit better. The staff members were friendly and helpful. Definitely make it a point to stop out if you're looking for collectable items!

No one was there and you and your partner didn't even say hello when we came in. And this is not the first time. The other times I ignored it, but when my kid's interest and obsession is dismissed, you'll end up with no customers. I know you have kids and wouldn't want them to be ignored, dismissed, or talked down to. My kid loved coming to this store but it's one of many, and last visit was our last. The owner has an attitude problem because one day he's all happy and acts like you're a family. And the next day he's rude and brushing off kids' questions and interests. Was very upset when my kid asked a question about some collectible products and the owner rudely brushed him off. My kid was very upset and so disappointed.

The store has a lot of really cute items, it isn't super large. It seems like the front store blind boxes sell out pretty quickly as they look pretty sparse. They do update their stuffed animals on the side wall pretty regularly, and they do have fun designs. There's a variety of toys, bathroom / kitchen items, school supplies, cosmetics, etc. Maybe one of these days we will finally pick up something cute as a special treat.

Deceptive charging practices. Went in to browse last week…read moreand found a couple things in a bin labeled 3/$5. I know some places add an extra charge for using credit card with low purchases, and i hadnt been sure i was going to buy something. I asked if there would be a charge and he said "just tax" and i didnt ask further. Looked at my checking account later that week and I had been charged $10.95. Again, the bin these were in was labeled $5 for three small items (or $2 each) I mean this could be partially my fault for not asking specifics but i was running late for something else. Anyways the guy in there seemed nice but now i feel like his small talk was just there to distract me from asking more about the price. So yeah. Check your bank account after they charge you because they might straight up charge you double without telling you.

This store is simply amazing for the train lover!…read more They have everything here that you will ever need. From vintage trains and accessories and tools that you need to repair them, to new trains and toys, paint and plays, this store is a throwback to when everyone collected trains. There's model kits, puzzles and modern toys for the little ones, I particularly loved the vintage section with some older models on display. It's time to just walk around here, i never knew that such a store existed.

This story reminded me of the train set up that my father had in our attic. So many trains and accessories , as well as cars, model kits, newer Breyer Horses, dolls, puzzles, and toys for young and old. I could have spent all day here and my husband had to drag me out.
