POKEMON CARDS!!! Don't be fooled by the name of the place! It's not just a sports card store! They have Pokemon cards too!! AND the employees are all very knowledgeable and excited about Pokemon too! I used to have to go all the way to Woodfield to find knowledgeable Pokemon card people...never again! Best place to go for any sport cards. If you don't know anything the three guys there will help you and explain to you. They have basketball cards,baseball, soccer, football, wrestling, they have Star Wars cards and Pokémon. The prices are great for the sport cards I felt the Pokémon sets a bit pricey but it a fun place and they guys are very helpful so highly recommend it read more

Came in on a Sunday morning, staff was very nice and friendly. They do have a growing selection of Pokemon cards, mostly modern but some vintage stuff as well. Fair price for an ETB , they have booster boxes, loose packs and singles as well. I will definitely be back. read more

Incredibly overpriced and youll only get good service 2/7 days of the week. what days those are is always a gamble. Ive been in here a few times over the past month and im Very shocked this shop doesnt have more 1 star reviews. First off the store is very cramped, which wouldnt be the worst thing in the world if they didnt insist on having an oversized playing table in the smack dab middle of the store. Secondly, this store is a scalpers store and not a real card shop for collectors. Shining fates etbs for 60$?? They go for 35 on ebay. Eevee vmax psa 10 card for 30$?? They run for 15-20 on ebay since theyre a guaranteed pull from shining fates etbs. They prey on people who really like micheal jordan or kobe or eevee and then tell them thats just the market rate. Not to mention theyll give "10% discounts" for cash which im sure just means that its a tax free transaction which is illegal since theyre a business with a liscense. Not worth the time to wven visit and see what they have. (Even theyre booster boxes are pricier than what pokemon themselves sell them for) scammy scam scam that is just hoping you dont know its a scam. read more

I've been to baseline multiple times. The shop had a great layout and a nice selection of sports memorabilia and Funko pops. I've ordered a ton of pops from Ryan and Paul and I've sold and bought many in this shop. He has some very nice older pieces I've gotten from him. I know that They do not take pops out of the box to inspect them when someone sells them their because who would? No shop anywhere in Illinois will take a pop out of a box because they're collectors items. Who smells a pop? Shenanigans in my opinion. Do NOT hesitate to do business here. Got blocked from reviewing them on google after I had a terrible experience. The owner has an ego way over his head. Went in here last Tuesday to buy some pokemon. Guy in front of me was talking to the owner I'm pretty sure. I thought in my head "It'll give me a few mins to look around". And while I'm looking at the Pokemon, I'm waiting for rhem to finish up, which the guy wasn't even buying anything and the owner was swearing about "I f***ing hate people begging me for this" and "f this and f that", so after 10 minutes of not even a hello or do you need a minute, I walked out. Put this review on Google, got blocked from reviewing them so i used my 2nd account. Put a review on Facebook too, got blocked. The second review on google got a reply from the owner saying their customer service was "top notch" and I should stop posting "fake reviews". If you can't take negative criticism, then you shouldn't have a business. Why would I go to Google just to give you a 1 star review? I'm reviewing here too because people need to know what to expect when they come here. All they had to do was even say 1 word to me. Nothing. Not a peep. And the owners ego is so damn high that he thinks his customer service is excellent when he can't even greet a customer and calls his negative reviews "fake". Staff doesn't wear masks during customer interactions. Belittled and laughed when I declined a sale. Refused to do business because I would bargain his offers. Sealed variety way above market price. Wouldn't recommend to true collectors as this is a scalpers shop more than a card shop. 1 star. read more

Purchased a hard to find metallic chase pop from here. Just recently I took it out of the box and it noticeably smelled like paint. Upon closer inspection, it was clear this pop was not a chase but a repaint. Beware of fakes here! I'm sure newer stuff is fine, but be weary of older stuff. Terrible experience. read more

Been here twice. Both time the guys behind the counter were nice, even with some regulars in the store. You know how you can get the out of towner vibe from regulars and owners but we did not. Great place for sports folks and equally fantastic for the Funko collector! The fellas at the shop are ALWAYS fair and great to their customers! A pretty big selection of pops from commons to grails!
