We stayed at the Legoland Resort for 2 nights, so we had breakfast at Brick's twice. The food was regular. Eggs and tater tots weren't seasoned, which I appreciated since I have a 10 month old and we try to avoid salted foods for him. We only ordered bacon on one occasion but ended up with both bacon and sausage. I can't complain cuz I liked both. We paid extra for the strawberries and cream pancakes for my daughter and it wasn't worth extra pay at all. It seemed like they used frozen pancakes. The strawberry compote was super fake tasting or at least very bottled up and not freshly made. The self-service foods were fine. Good juice selection. I think they're better off letting families make their own waffles and pancakes if it's too much work to make them. Servers were nice. Pretty attentive and helpful. The 2nd morning I ordered the Salpaccino drink and they got it wrong twice. It was bitter. The menu said it's supposed to have vanilla syrup and whipped cream. The 3rd try was when they got it right. Apparently they forgot the cinnamon and whipped cream. I literally can't be the only one who orders this drink for them to get it wrong twice. We'd go there again only cuz there isn't another choice of food when you stay at the resort. read more

Horrible dinner experience $120 for 2 adults and 2 kids (and 1 $20 alcoholic drink) food was a buffet that was completely phoned in... salad bar offered 2 different kinds of lettuce and 3 kinds of cheese but no tomatoes, cucumbers, or onions. Carving station was just one meat... if you don't eat pork I guess you're out of luck. 2kinds of rice, 2kinds of potatoes and 2 desserts plus ice cream bars in a freezer. Servers were pleasant enough. Avoid. There is a diner 2 miles away in a nearby town that is better quality and much less expensive! read more

This is our third time dining here. The other visits were in December 2025 and April 2036. Today we had breakfast at bricks and ordered the veg.sausage. We put that we don't eat eggs and the manager came to talk to us. He said the veg sausage has eggs in it. I said "seriously? Because the last two times we were here, we talked with managers as well, told them we do not eat eggs, and they told us the veg sausage is ok to consume". He double checked and yes, the sausage has eggs in it. He said the brand hasn't changed in a couple years. I was so upset. What's the point of talking to a manager the other two times if they don't even really check ingredients?! This is a major food safety issue and I'll won't be renewing my elite pass. This place is no longer the same as it was a few years ago. We did come during spring break week, so it was expected to be very noisy and slow service given the busyness. However, what was SO disappointing, is that the pancakes were NO longer part of the complimentary breakfast as a hotel patron. So we decided to order and pay for it. However, the pancakes were terrible, must've been sitting under the warmer for a while as the edges were hard and unchewable! Bacon was the same too, just bad. Egg whites lacked flavor. Breakfast has not improved since opening day. We have been pass holders since the opening of the park. Our first trip was in their " preview " stage , unfortunately it seems that phase has not passed in the 5 years they have been operating. A small dish of food for a family of 5 ( 2 adults, 2 older teens and a preteen) is crazy. It took about two hours to get our food , which seemed to be across the board for everyone , because of that there was a huge line for self serve food like cereal and toast . My family and I ate here for breakfast during our stay at the resort. Our server was nice, attentive, and accommodating. Our food came out quick and drinks were always full. Drinks include coffee, tea, orange juice, apple juice, fountain drinks, and water. The breakfast is served family style and they give plenty of it. They will also bring more food if you need it. Our platter had pancakes, toast, scrambled eggs, tater tots, bacon, sausage, and a bowl of mixed fruits. On the side they have butter, syrup, grape and strawberry jelly, and cream cheese. Absolutely insane what this "family" restaurant is charging for what they serve. Me and my family went on May 2nd, 2025 and I am so glad we went today so we know not to come to Bricks for dinner anymore. So let's break it down: Service: 1.5 out of 5. Took about 5-10 minutes to finally get a server....when the restaurant barely had half of its capacity. After we got what we ordered finally, we barely saw our server again. OH and not to mention we weren't even given serving plates with the Appetizers sampler we ordered! This place was aweful!!! The food was horrible and the staff wasn't friendly or inviting. I had the creamy pesto ravioli which tasted like it was prepackaged (it probably was). My son loves Mac and cheese but wouldn't eat the Mac and cheese from this restaurant. Even the fries had a weird taste to them. To top it off, the food made me sick which nearly ruined my evening. I hesitate to try the breakfast even though it's included in our reservation The only slightly cool thing about the restaurant were the large Lego status which were a hit with my 6 year old but the rest of the decor left something to be desired. UPDATE: The Breakfast was a completely different experience. The food was pretty good and the wait staff was much more friendly. They even sang happy birthday to my son which made his day. Recommendation: send your spouse downstairs 20 minutes in advance to wait in the line. Pro: location, decor. Con: everything else. Long waits, inattentive staff, meh over priced dinner, gag me breakfast eggs. Dinner: took 30 minutes to have a server ask for our order or stop by in general. The burger looked good but tasted off. The veggie bowl was meh. Our child lived the place, but that is not reason to eat dinner here. Breakfast: day one took 20 minutes to get seated (for our reservation), 20+ minutes to get a platter of food that EVERYONE gets. And we were missing parts of the platter. We went here for dinner and then returned in the morning for the free breakfast since we were staying at the hotel. Definitely make a reservation before you go for any meal there because it is the only restaurant in the hotel and everyone wants to eat at the same time. They are definitely understaffed in the kitchen it seemed but there were tons of staff on the floor some were attentive and helpful. They didn't have any answers why our food took over 75 minutes but they were very nice and refilled our drinks etc. The breakfast is now served family style on trays per table rather than a buffet which is great. The breakfast is included in your room charge so if you want to tip you have to bring cash. The reviews that say one star and five star are both equally off. I'm between a three and four. But since it's included for free with the room I'm going to say it's 4star for a free hotel breakfast. We were able to move up our reservation to 7:45. It was probably for 8:30. I was happy we could do that. The food was family style and served a wide variety of easy to like breakfast foods. This is a kids place so four star kid food not four star food in general but that's what I'm looking for when eating out with my kids before a day at the park. I love that the moment my four year old was done eating I could abandon the rest of my party and take her to play at the indoor playground. It made for a much happier family overall. Stayed at the Legoland hotel for one night which included breakfast. Also ate dinner here. Dinner was fine, had low expectations given resort restaurant, expectations were met for good or bad. Have to make reservations to get a table at a decent time (especially with kids given their schedules). The problem was the "free" breakfast that was supposed to be included in the hotel stay. One word: UPSELL. While there is a free option, which includes scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and a very basic continental breakfast of toast, cereal, and whole fruit (oranges and apples), they present you a list of options for french toast, pancakes, and cut fruit plates that are anywhere from $7 to $12 additional. If you don't add any of the extras, the free breakfast was very disappointing. Point is, don't advertise it as a free breakfast if anything beyond toast is an upcharge. Poor form especially for a family resort that is not exactly cheap. Also need reservations for breakfast which is just annoying (half the restaurant was empty but they wouldn't take walk ins anyway). read more

They push to make a reservation, which I recommend, as it does get chaotic. My entire family found the food to be below average. It's a buffet but there was no one really wiping things down. There were trays that were empty. I just found there to not be many great options or even healthy options that would fulfill you before going into the park all day. The one star is seriously for the staff who is nice. We dined here for dinner too and the food was horrendous. My 6 year old who eats pizza hated it. He said it was the grossest pizza he's ever eaten. I would avoid this place and go off the resort or do doordash, which is what A LOT of people were doing. read more

Fish were actually fried well, but still a bit oily and more importantly extremely bland. Kids had typical kids pizza dish (akin to Pizza Hut - sweet sauce, cheese borderline over cooked). One of my boys liked it, the other did not. Desserts were split - kids had the ice cream brownie and wife and I split a cheesecake. Brownie was nearly frozen. Cheesecake was mealy. I've had continental breakfasts many, many times in my travels so again expectations tempered. Unfortunately, most of this was inedible. The scrambled eggs looked gelatinous and almost like a paste. The bacon was literally cold and limp. Many of the trays were empty including the waffles, hash browns, and sausage. It was extremely busy and not enough staff to direct traffic. Some guests stay back on line waiting for the tray to be refilled but there's no indication on when a new serving would be made. The bagels were kind of fresh but no toasting options (though I never toast my bagels). No slices of toast available (that I saw). It was chaotic. Coffee and juice stations (with milk) are available. Although I heard other families complaining about what was available as part of the free breakfast, I think it was fairly generous. Eggs, tater tots, a choice of breakfast meats (including a vegetarian sausage option), toast, bananas and oranges, coffee, tea, a couple of juice options. They were able to accommodate my need for gluten-free food by baking my tater tots instead of using a shared fryer, and even had gf toast. Just wish things had come out hot or even warm, and the tater tots hadn't been so hard I couldn't get my fork into them. My son liked the pancakes, which were available for $7 and came with a strawberry and a few blueberries. This restaurant is located inside the Legoland NY hotel. In the morning it serves a buffet-style breakfast that's only available to hotel guests (the cost is included in the stay). In the evening it serves family-style fare. I got to experience both, and I was impressed. In both cases you do need to book a reservation, which is managed by OpenTable but only accessible from the Legoland NY Web site. If you're planning a stay at the hotel I definitely recommend booking your reservation early. While the restaurant seats plenty of people, there were a few situations early on where they were understaffed and needed to cut down on the number if people they seat. The food is outstanding. There's a kids menu with the usual things you'd expect. And then there's the adult menu. All the adult options are served family style. My wife and I ordered the salmon. Our meal was actually delayed for a brief time and our server explained that the chef wasn't happy with the way ours looked so he took it upon himself to do it again. The wait was worth it--our salmon was cooked to literal perfection--down to the crispy skin and perfectly seasoned fish. In prior visits we've had the pasta, the pizza, and the burger. All were excellent and a perfect way to wrap up a long day at the park. Between this restaurant and the ones at the park the food and value for my money is by far the best I've had at any theme park, and that includes the big "D". I suppose the one regret I had was that being a family of three we invariably end up with leftovers which we can't really save if we're staying overnighy...but for a family of four or five the portions are just right. The decor, not surprisingly, is another star of the show. There are Lego models of a giant cookbook and various culinary-themed objects, like life-size Lego chefs working a giant mixer and a chef thrown head-first into a giant Jello mold. I like how the decor continues the theme that's throughout the lobby. As I alluded to, the one area that may be problematic is when they're short staffed. During our last stay we were there on time for our reservation but we still had to wait another 30 minutes, and the few staff that was there was doing multiple jobs at once. The reservation hub thing is well... a thing. The place is half empty if not more so but without a reservation they refuse to seat you. So make a reservation or boycott the restaurant in solidarity of their stupidity. If you chose to boycott, you're not missing anything as its only meh - at best. Well other than perhaps convenience which in my opinion is an insufficient reason. Skyline bar is far better. Pub food, but the kiddos can play in the lobby castle while you have pizza or something similar. read more
