On our way back from Binghamton we stopped here to meet a friend for dinner. A great spot to get to as it was two minutes off the hwy in a large shopping center with plenty of parking. We walked in to an extremely pleasant pizzeria / restaurant / bar and were very well greeted and seated. You can always tell the successfui local shops by the amount of regulars that are here and jow well the servers know the guests. A very comfortable cool-calming venue that just makes you feel comfortable. Our server came over quickly amd gave us a few minutes to speak amoung ourselves and eventually order. There were threee of us and I did have an opportunity to sample all plates. 1 - Personal pan meatball pizza - Excellent. Plenty of sauce and cheese with tasty meatballs on a thin crust 1 - Mozzarella and tomatoes - A sizable portion easy to share of tasty mozz and ripe juicy tomatoes 1- Mozzarella, tomatoes with fried calamari. - Another excellent dish of mozz and tomatoes with the addition of a crispy-tasty calamari All the folks sitting around our table enjoyed their meal. This was my favorite local spot however I called the last Monday for catering pricing. The staff had no idea how to answer my questions and asked I call back. Sure thing, boss. So I called the next day and this staffer alluded to the catering pricing are changing but could not tell me in what direction or when. He told me to go online. Thank you, chief. Online mentioned nothing of the price change but you can submit an online contact request form. I have questions. I've sent in three contact requests and a week later - not call or email. I have been to this location twice so far. I ordered the Christy chicken California both times and it was delicious!!!! You can tell everything is fresh! It is absolutely beautiful in the restaurant too, very trendy. Service was excellent both times. I'll definitely be back. read more

Ordered three meals and two appetizers, and yet again, the order was missing items. I called mainly concerned about a side of grilled chicken( and garlic knots), and finally agree to remake after much confusion. I went to pick it up, there was no apology for the inconvenience, just rudeness and accusing me of trying to get a side of grilled chicken without paying. We eat or get take out from here regularly since they opened. I left the food there( after his nastiness I would be afraid he'd done something to it) and will never set foot in that place again. I was in the mood for some buffalo wings so i ordered 8 hot wings here. It was good but the customer service was lacking. Although the staff member that took my order was nice, the kitchen staff kept looking at me awkwardly, they then placed my order on top of the oven without communicating to the front staff that the order was ready. I sat for an additional 15 min waiting for an order that was already ready. Talk about of communication. I asked the girl at the front desk"hey, would that happen to be my order?" I have had the pizza from Franks in Middletown behind Walmart as well as the Carlos' on Wawayanda Ave (all the same business) and this new location in Goshen. Always great pizza. The buffalo chicken, avacado/chicken, thai shrimp, chicken bacon ranch and Grandma slices are among my favorites. As far as entree's, which my wife and I have only had from the Goshen are great. Between the 2 of us, we have has the Shrimp Parmesan, Shrimp Fradiavlo and Penne A La Vodka dinners and they are absolutely fantastic. Went there to eat at the restaurant and it was fine. Nothing special. Typical red sauce American Italian food. Ordered delivery of stuffed rigatoni with mozzarella and ricotta. They delivered stuffed shells which were not hot. Ok, they got one order wrong and delivered the rigatoni about a half hour later. Tonight we ordered the rigatoni with mozzarella and ricotta for takeout. When we brought it home, guess what, WRONG order again and again the food was not hot. They gave us baked ziti instead of the rigatoni. Once again, I called and about a half hour later the rigatoni was delivered. Twice is unacceptable. I will NEVER order from them again. The food isn't worth it. If they can't handle Friday night rush hour, they shouldn't be in the business. read more

Place is incredibly noisy! Service was okay...they are clearly new and need time to develop an understanding of service. Food was okay. I had the linguine with broccoli and red garlic sauce. The sauce was both tasty and really greasy. They served way too much sauce and not enough pasta. The garlic bread was dry and over cooked. The salad was pretty limp. I don't know what happened tonight, 3/2/24 normally I would give a 5 star, not today, but my review will be fair regardless. I ordered over the phone and this was the first inkling of a problem. The girl (S) asked repeatedly what the order was, the phone connection was far from acceptable so we reviewed it a few times, finally, she had the order correct, and low and behold, it was NOT right. (Big surprise there). The Lasagna dinner was like a ball of cheese, and plain with no flavor, , the LIGHTLY toasted garlic bread was burnt and dry,(what happened to the butter and garlic?) and the Zeppolies looked like dough balls with sugar... I'm not sure what they were but they were heavy, they forgot a drink, no napkins and 1 small dressing for three salads. However, the Chicken Murphy dinner was great and the Meatball Parm dinner was plentyfully. For the money that was spent, it should have been better. We love Carlos it has become our favorite pizza place in goshen. The wings are perfectly cooked and covered in just the right amount of sauce . Standard salad for a pizza place . There is so many selections of pizza that are all fantastic. We also got a meatball sub that wasn't for us , (meatballs felt dry and had too much of a parm taste) . Like everyone else in Goshen, I was like 'oh great, what do we need, another pizza place? Well yes, we needed Carlo's!! Finally another option in the area for vegan cheese substitutes!! And it is DELICIOUS! My first visit to Carlo's I got a personal pie with vegan cheese and broccoli and I was a little disappointed that the broccoli was frozen but the pie was still delicious. Good sauce and perfect crust. Today I ordered a personal pie with vegan cheese and fresh spinach and basil and it's one of the best vegan pies I've ever had, even including vegan specialty pies in the city. Aside from some of the veggies being frozen and not fresh and the prices I have no complaints! I'd love to see some more vegan options (like vegan ricotta or meat substitutes) but 10/10 on the vegan pies! And the staff are all so kind and lovely and willing to accommodate special requests.
