Met up with some friends from out of state for dinner here. Our server was training a new guy and both were great. We did have a couple of issues; steak was ordered medium and it came well done and a burger was ordered with a gluten free bun that came hard as a rock. The manager, Blake, took great care of us and had the orders replaced and gifted us with vouchers for food and drink on our next visit. We frequent this restaurant almost weekly. It's a favorite. The chopped and chipped nachos are the best. All of the burgers are great.

Food and service is good at every location. Wait times are also never too long. Establishment is always clean.

Pros: in town for a medical conference. Didn't know what to eat, so I yelped it. I was not disappointed. I got a salad and side of chips (covered in cheese and bacon). The portions are humongous. I ended up eating the chips for lunch and the ride back to town. Ate the salad the next three days. My new favorite salad! It had a Parmesan dressing, bacon, fried chicken, raisins, apples, and broccoli. Accepts credit cards. Plenty of parking. Fast to go service; ready in under 10 minutes. Cons: my husband says he didn't even knew this chain served food! Obviously don't come eat here if you're on diet. Calories galore. read more

I would steal this beer out of Chuck Norris or Troy Aikman's hands (Oklahoma legends). As far as I can tell this is the best place in Shawnee. The Oklahoma craft beer conspiracy continues. Why is Shiner Bock the only Texas beer anywhere? Excellent craft beer offerings from Oklahoma breweries- Prairie Artisan Ales, Mustang, and COOP. Excellent food. I would eat this bacon chili every freaking day if I lived here. Rated only 3*??? That is a CRIME! Expensive lunch- $30. But you get what you pay for. read more

We were just passing through and are happy that we found Bricktown Brewery! The waitress suggested the meatloaf plate and I'm glad she did. It was delicious! I'm pretty picky about meatloaf and I loved theirs. Served with fresh green beans which were perfectly tender crisp, mashed potatoes & gravy, crispy onion pieces. Generous portions. COVID has changed the dining out experience and sometimes it just is meh - food, service, take out etc. We were travelling thru Shawnee and stopped here specifically because it looked like a good menu with good local beer. It 110% delivered. The local beer menu was extensive and really nicely curated. (I mean, it is totally hard to get good road food when staying off the highway peeps!) ... I ordered the poached salmon with blueberry salsa done medium. It was expertly cooked - apparently the chef was very concerned that it was to my liking. Lastly, spot on service by Taylor - who has to be one of the best servers we've had in COVID and probably months before that. Well done to the team there. We went to this restaurant for the first time a few days ago. I usually give a place a second chance, but I won't with this one. The food was barely edible and extremely expensive. Sevice was average. Decor was good, if a little lacking. The place was clean. Has an extensive local beer menu if you drink beer. read more

Went in with coworkers today at 11 for lunch. I ordered the bacon chicken ranch pizza with cauliflower crust. Our server brings the food out, I eat 2 pieces then realize it tastes too good. When she returned I asked her if she was sure it was cauliflower crust, she says she didn't tell them to put cauliflower crust. I haven't had gluten since the beginning of June. Now I have had stomach issues since lunch. It was not offered to remove it from the ticket or to make it correctly!!!! Tried calling nobody answers the phone. Guess I will try to call again tomorrow. Most people ordering cauliflower crust have a medical reason for doing so. read more

Ate here a couple years ago and was not impressed with the food, but whatever changes they made in the kitchen made it worth trying again. Excellent burger, but the salt and pepper fries were just plain fries until I added the salt and pepper, I was expecting something other than plain fries. The people in my large group ordered a variety of items from the menu and everyone was pleased with their choice, no complaints. It's a bit on the expensive side. I've been here several times and every time the food is great and portion size is good, friendly staff aside from a few bad eggs I've come across. I love the variety of the menu and the atmosphere is nice. They are bit pricey in my opinion, but it is one of the nicer options in town. Picked up lunch for four & took to my MIL. We had two chicken fried chicken, a cheeseburger & fries and chef salad. We eat at Bricktown Brewery in Edmond about twice a month, and never had an off visit. The food at the Shawnee location isn't the same. The chef salad had a few cucumbers and one cherry tomato, there was no gravy in the chicken fry, which was very very peppery, and the hamburger was the only thing that tasted good and didn't go in the garbage. Also, we called in our order, and waited 40 minutes at the bar when we picked it up. I hope they will pick up their game as we like local food and love our Bricktown Brewery but will skip this location. The reason for two stars was the warm fig & goat cheese dip with pita. One of the better places to visit when in Shawnee-- the atmosphere is suitable for all audiences (whether you're looking for a beer with friends or a family night out). The service is generally pretty good, the staff is always very attentive to anyone's specific requests/needs, and the food always arrives fairly quickly. As for the meals themselves, the presentation is on point, and there's a few dishes here and there that are exceptionally great. I highly suggest the blue cheese filet, & the pretzel sticks make a tasty appetizer. read more

We are in town for a softball tournament and were able to get a table for 14 tonight. They mentioned that they had just been slammed by a party of 20-25 and so to bear with them as they finished up with them. Zachary was there to get our drink order and they all came out quickly. We ordered and food came out pretty quickly as well with no mistakes- one of the kids meals came out a little behind but other than that- all good. My grilled chicken sandwich was really good except the peppered bacon was too spicy for me. The gravy was so yummy. I don't often eat gravy, bread or other gluten items- I couldn't not eat the gravy. And the cheese curds were good. The trio was better. Margaritas could have used a little more tequila. But- all staff was kind and helpful and again, Zachary was super awesome. The tickets weren't right but he admitted that he knew they weren't an apologized in advance (it was only a few things). We often eat together as a large group so we rate higher on good service - and we def had a great customer service experience. And food experience too! read more

Amazing food And love their beer selection. Eaten there multiple times and have never not deeply enjoyed my food.

This was bad from the service to the food to the cleanliness. We were not met by our server for 15 minutes after being seated. During which time, we noticed how gross the table was. It was sticky. An actual bug stuck to the table. We told the waitress about this. She said there were no other available tables, but half heartedly wiped that one down. We ordered drinks and apps, the dipping trio and avacado fries. Well, I couldn't stomach the avacado fries. A greasy gag worthy mush. The dips were not good. Runny, flavorless. The dishes were never cleared. I ordered a veggie burger with broccoli as a side. The bun was completely stale. The patty was bland mush. Broccoli was nearly raw and very salty. My husband got the salt and pepper honey chicken sandwich with okra. The sandwich had a big chunk of gristle right through it. The okra tasted of chemicals. The did replace the chicken, which was nice. I would not return, based on this experience. read more

Shawnee should be grateful for Bricktown brewery because there are so few restaurants that are not specialized. This is a good option when you don't want to drive to the city. Their $20 steaks are just that and adequate for the price. A local secret if your passing through is their pizza, it's awesome. Their nachos are massive and the burgers are good.
