I consider Anthem as one of the OG breweries in the metro. Kinda embarrassing to admit I've had their beers at events for years but never actually stepped foot in the brewery until last night for a friend's graduation party. My go-to here is still the Rad Hombre, but their IPAs, sours, and ciders are all solid too. The brewery itself is a great spot to catch a Thunder game -- spacious, laid-back, and not overly hectic. Huge plus that you can bring outside food in. Service was okay overall. The staff wasn't particularly welcoming, and when we were waiting to order, I honestly thought one of the employees was another customer since she was busy chatting for a while. This brewery has a great tap room that has lots of accessible parking. Bar staff is great and knowledgeable about their brews. Not as many brews on tap as has been in the past. The tap room offers a lot of space and a patio. Definitely a chill place to hang out. read more

Went by the Tap Room on a Tuesday evening visit for after dinner drinks. Tuesday night is open music night for musicians as that was all who were there while we were there for about an hour. 7:30-8:30pm. Heard some nice music. Didn't get everyone's name. Wish the musicians had Venmo, cashapp to make tipping easier. They had no tip jars, so maybe open mike means you get to play music, but no tipping? IDK Anthem makes some of the best beer in Oklahoma. Sadly, it was my turn to be the DD, but on the upside, I found that Anthem makes some damn good no alcohol beers. I was the winner on that. Didn't have it on draft, can only, poured into a glass. I loved it! Sadly, I can't find my note or receipt with the name of it, but it was an IPA, no alcohol. If you're looking for something relaxing to do on a Tuesday evening in OKC go to the Tap House. There is no food so eat before you go. They do have packages of nuts for purchase which are pretty good. Tuesday nights $2 Happy Hour, open mike night and just an overall peaceful feeling. This is ONLY about the beer. I purchased Hoparazzi at Homeland. It was in the cooler and placed into my refrigerator for two hours. Upon opening a can, it exploded. Over half of the can went on the floor and couch. Tonight, I opened another can and once again FOOM. All over my crotch and couch. I went outside and opened the 3rd can. (I'm catching on here) Guess? I'm wondering if the beer was packed by the Taliban. You should rename it "IED In a Can", maybe a warning of Tannerite explosive potential and beer shower expectations. I'll never buy another can of your brew again. Glass is better. You brewers should have stayed with it. As for getting my money back? Probably not. I've had some of their brews before and have always been satisfied. Stopped by the store today while in OKC and was pleasantly surprised that they had Mix & Match 6 packs which allowed me to pick up 12 different brews I've never had before without having to buy 12 six packs! Freaking awesome! I also picked up 2 six packs of my old favorites. Plus the barkeep turned me onto a cooly to keep my beer cold while drinking. Definitely will be back. read more

This was a return visit. I so want to like this place but I have yet to be convinced. Went on a Saturday afternoon. The smell as we entered was awful. Yes i know they brew beer but it smelled of soured beer/vomit. We tried to get past but after standing in line (1 person back) for 10 min, we decided it wasnt worth it. The singers music was too loud, service was slow, smell was horrendous and the only seats were next to the speakers. Too many breweries around to try this again. read more

What a deal! I've been trying to support local breweries during the outbreak and as one of my favorite places in the city, Anthem was one of the first places I went to pick up growlers. We came here on a stop through the OKC breweries and honestly, the beer was just ok to us. There was only one beer, the UROBOROS that we really enjoyed and honestly left full flight glasses other than that one. Craft beer is hard to judge or review because the taste preference is so personal. I am sure there are many who would love this place and it's definitely a place to try. Behold a taproom straight ahead. A beer? Right now? Good-bye despair! Thank the Lord! He heard my prayer. Now, I could drink beer here or there. Heck, I can drink one anywhere! So dodging raindrops that did pour, we made it (wet) through Anthem's door. "Hello," a ginger lass did shout. "Whatcha drinkin'? Pils or stout?" She set us up, that friendly ma'am, and introduced herself as Sam. Anthem's pilsner? "A-OK" Yes, I could drink it everyday. And I could drink it in a glass or in a cup that's made of brass. In Anthem's taproom, we consumed while rain clouds rained and thunder boomed. Their Golden One made me a fan: Another round? Sounds like a plan. Outside it stormed all afternoon; inside we laughed at that monsoon! The stools were filled as we did chat with clever guys 'bout this and that. Two San Diegans did explain how Halo's impact was insane. With them, we drank a pint, or two, or was it twelve, or ninety-two? But, best of all, I must confess, was Sam, yes, Sam, just Sam, no less. Tried a flight of 4.  Federal level - bourbon barrel aged Kentucky common.  ManGose - barrel aged mango gose. Family tree - barrel aged alison. Afternoon rider - passion fruit radler. All good beers.  Definitely surprised by all four being good.  Staff is friendly.  Plenty of parking.  It's a warehouse with plenty of room.  Pretty low key.  Most of the customers looked like they were on their way home from work as it is located near downtown.  I would definitely return to try some of their other beers. read more

Anthem is a chill spot to hangout on a Friday evening. They have multiple beers on tap for you to try and find which one suits your taste buds. You can do a flight or do a pint. They have various seating areas inside. Great for groups! Staff is friendly and has great knowledge of the beers. Animals are welcome! They do not have food tho. A bunch of my friends and I went on a weekend brewery tour in Oklahoma City. We had a blast! Several of us had bought a Groupon to do the tour at anthem and we missed the part where we had to call ahead to get a tour. Well we got there and she told us that the last tour had already started. But she quickly got us into it and we got to enjoy our time there. The guide happily took pictures and answered any questions we had. Afterward we got our glasses and pour with purchase of the Groupon and everything tasted great! It was a really neat facility and I can't wait to go back again. read more

We strolled in here after visiting roughtale's anniversary party on a short beer-day tour. The bartender was so great, she was really helpful in explaining the beers she was serving, I got a flight and she took the time to talk about them with me which I really respect from a bartender! The location is really nice and clean on the inside, the bar area is pretty small, but it keeps the vibe really chill. We stood around a barrel and peered in to the brewery a bit. I quite enjoyed their beers, never having them before I was pleasantly greeted with an array of flavors. Due to the amount of beer I had consumed I DID fail to get the name of any of them.. Whoops. Definitely check it out! Also their bathrooms were nice and clean, which I find makes an experience that much more delightful! read more

Stupid good beer. No joke, these folks know what they're doing. Every single beer we tried was well balanced with awesome depth of flavor. I can see them blowing up if they have the desire to do so. I'd *love* to see them in DC!! I most loved the ultra-drinkable, not too heavy, scotch ale; the perfectly sweet bourbon barrel-aged quad (Domestique); and barrel aging the blonde (Golden One) was a great way to add interest to the usually underwhelming blonde style. You can only find them in Oklahoma and Kansas so do yourself a favor and don't pass up the opportunity to stop in if you're anywhere near the area!! read more

**Update** No more archaic laws, even more reason to visit!** Great little taproom in downtown OKC, setup in the same building where they brew all their beers. They have to deal with Oklahoma's archaic beer laws, so they can only sell beers that are 4 ABV and below, however these are just for the taproom, so fun drinking beers you can get nowhere else. They make a lot of fun options for the taproom, different than anything they put to market. You can sample all their market beers as well, for free - just a few ounces each though (because the dumb ABV law). They have a cool pint night on Thursdays, with a pizza special. No food any another time though. The staff is really cool, and happy to talk to you about their beer and their brewery. It is a great stop whether you are just passing through or an OKC resident. read more

I will delete this review after a while, this is more for management if they ever check this. Saturday March 18th, the 2 female bartenders from 3-6 p.m. were the worst ever. They literally told us no they didn't want to do a flight because it's too much work and they wouldn't split a ticket between 2 cards. They were so rude and we tried to be really kind and smile and be friendly but they not only never said anything nice, they actively frowned the entire time. I was lucky enough to attend a tour and tasting at Anthem. The location is between 5th and 4th right along Western. The facility is large and yet intimate. The tasting area has a large wrap around bar and plenty on tap. They were tasting the following: GOLDEN ONE belgian-style blonde ale ARJUNA belgian-style white ale UROBOROS stout IPA And a low point... whose name escapes me. For me the stand-out is the Arjuna, which has a spice/tea flavor from the coriander and chamomile. Very nice. The Golden One was crisp and refreshing. The stout was bold with a mellow finish. I did not try the IPA, as it is just not for me, but the low point was pretty tasty. Five starts for the combination of beer, tour, and some true craftsmanship. read more

Super chill atmosphere which I love. Some places can get obnoxious - not here. Great local beer, really friendly staff, a good amount of seating - what's not to like? They sell chilled six packs and larger bottles - I took an out-of-town guest here and they loved the Uroboros so much they took a six pack home. You can bring your own food which is really cool to me. I watched someone walk in with a whole birthday cake once. GOALS. I got Leo's BBQ to go and brought it here to have a Golden One to wash it down - HEAVEN. Fun for a date night or a night out with friends.
