Yikes - new ownership, menu and service are terrible. We won't be back, and we were regulars for years who live in the neighborhood. - we were two of four people in the entire restaurant and waited well over an hour for our food - our chips and guac was made on the spot but was far from fresh and had no flavor. When we sent it back, they said they couldn't take it off the bill and we had to pay for it, even though we only ate one bite each - we ordered a second round of drinks that sat up on the bar for over 15 minutes before we had to go grab the drinks ourselves - the sandwich was supposed to come with chips -- the sandwich came out first and the chips nearly 15 minutes later and we had to go grab those from the bar ourselves as well - there was no manager on duty and staff just seemed lost Do not recommend. read more

To qualify- we went on a Saturday night with a reservation for a slightly bigger party. Now- staffing I know is tight but the waiter was seated with our group of ten, probably should have had more help in his section... but I get it. Times are hard for wait staff. However our table ordered all at the same time, unfortunately the food came out at WILDLY different times. As in- our shy friend didn't say anything but she didn't get her dish until after everyone else at the table had finished their dishes that also came out half the table at a time. Waiter didn't even apologize like it was a kitchen error. The food was good for me, I got nachos and they came quickly. My friends however got very well done burgers after being asked and confirming for medium- based on that and the state of the fries they were probably under a lamp for a bit too long. I was hoping to really like this place but just like the other reviews the service/staff needs improvement to really step up to the next level. It felt understaffed as no one seemed to bus or clear tables and server seemed inconvenienced when I asked to have my plate removed or needed silverware etc. Which is too bad as the food is pretty good. The brussel sprout starter was delicious with the Thai chili sauce, we got the last order for the night at 6:20pm. My kids enjoyed their Mac n cheese and the French fries were really good. I ordered the brisket tacos. It was a huge serving of 5 tacos. I didn't love them, seemed to be missing something but can't put my finger on it. My husband has the shaved prime sandwich with au jus. He was LOVED it! Dessert was also delicious, we ordered the donuts with powdered sugar and the orange sherbet. We went on a Friday night and they had a great band playing. We had dinner on Saturday and have to say I agree with feedback from previous reviews about the table service being substandard. The waitstaff didn't seem very knowledgable about their signature cocktail menu or the food menu in general. Drink service and table bussing was ridiculously slow. One cocktail refill at a Two and a half hour dinner is crazy. Sat with empty glasses on the table for most of the night. Several at our table ordered a Korean BBQ beef dish. One that was served had NO beef in it. When we eventually were able to flag our server down she wasn't apologetic at all - seemed as if she thought we were trying to scam the restaurant for more BBQ beef and were told that she can't argue with her boss who insisted every dish was made with the same amounts of each Ingredient. I can attest that was not the case. I would love to have spoken with her "boss" about it. Lesson for the server would be to LOOK at the dishes before you serve them to be sure they are not going to get sent back. My guess is that another patron ordered this dish "vegetarian style" and was served a bowl of meat. I had the Chicken and Waffles which was very good. Carnival food - deep fried and sweet. Nice sandwich. My father had an olive burger and said it was good. We ordered tons of appetizers and they were all worth ordering again. My favorite was the Crab Rangoon dip. We also had multiples of the fried cheese curds, spring rolls, mini chili rellenos, Thai shrimp and pretzel bites. A few of us tried their signature cocktails - the Sweater Weather was tasty. They had live music which was good. I think this could be a top notch destination if they spend some time coaching their staff. We made a reservation and they did not reserve a table where we requested despite getting a confirmation. It took an hour for our appetizer to come out and the service was slow. A table that came after us got their main meals a half hour before our appetizer came out. When our meals finally came out most of them were cold. We've been to brickyard several times and have had great experiences every time in the past. We haven't been in a while and visited with a group of 8. It appeared there was new management because it was absolutely terrible this time around in every single way. I understand they were short staffed but we waited over 2 hours for our food while it was not very busy at all. Our food then came out beyond cold, and only half our party was served with the rest coming out almost 30 minutes later! Additionally, we waited over 45 minutes for refills of our drinks. The worst part of all was when asking to speak to the manager, he arrived clearly frustrated and overwhelmed and had absolutely zero professionalism, kindness or patience. Asking "what do you want me to do" when we explained our frustrations with a raw steak, very cold food and lack of other meals. He was very very rude. This was my first time here, I've been wanting to try it! I'm a big fan of fish and chips so that's what I got. The fish must've been panko breaded? Unsure, but it was not seasoned, very over cooked and then it was dry. I love crispy fries usually, but these were so crispy and well well done the fry was basically just a fried chunk and there wasn't much potato on the inside? My friend got a burger that was so dry, even with cheese.. Maybe we just got the wrong stuff or maybe the kitchen was a little distracted and over cooked our food, but I was a bit disappointed because the place was so cute. read more

She was just fairly inattentive to us, and only came to our table like twice during our whole dining experience. She also forgot to ring up a few of our items on the receipt, and messed up one of our payments. It's not a big deal... but it was just a little frustrating. But I would totally come here again!! We went here on a lovely Friday night for dinner. I loved the ambiance as soon as we walked in, there was live music. Service was fast and timely which I personally always appreciate. We ordered the Southwest Eggrolls as a starter and they were crispy, hot and very good. I ordered the Red Pepper Jammer and my boyfriend ordered the Chicken and Waffles which was listed under the sandwich portion of the menu but neither one of us would say it was a sandwich. For our entree, I got the steak and it was very mediocre. It came with a side of rice and broccoli which both tasted like they came from the microwave. The steak had no flavor at all but at least was cooked the way I asked. I felt like the place was not busy when we went which is why we were confused by the delay. Just tried the BrickYard Tavern for the first time today. The Blackened Goat Burger was delicious and juicy just they way I like a burger. The goat cheese was the perfect balance to the bacon and a nice change from the typical blue cheese you may find else where. Went here for a birthday celebration for a party of originally 13. When we got to the restaurant, we told them we had a reservation and they directed us to a completely different party table and took ten minutes to actually get to our correct table. After sitting down it took 30 minutes to try and get a drink order in. Once we finally got our drink order placed it took almost an hour to get our drinks(at this point some people had left and only 6 people got drinks) not everyone got their drinks because they said there was a new bartender and they didn't have the correct ingredients to make the drinks. They brought us canned mixed drinks which was very nice. However after another ten minutes we got those drinks that were originally ordered. After getting our drinks had taken another 30 minutes to place a food order. After we placed a food order, it took an hour to get our food where it was slightly warm. I had ordered the taco salad with the brisket and the brisket was ice cold. The server did not check on us after we received our food and never filled our water glasses again. Overall we had spent 3 hours after waiting for the drinks and food, and the server only checked on us five times total, including checking out. read more

We've been here several times in the past & things were great but when we stopped this time on August 8th, they were closed (2nd time this has occurred), so we came a couple weeks later & wish we hadn't. Our water was never refilled & when we finally received our food over 1.5hrs later it was cold. Cocktails were expensive, which isn't a problem if they are out of this world but when they are below average it's an issue, definitely not what we have come to expect. The sign said something about management & I'm here to say that whatever change was made in management was not a good one. We went there with family, three kids under ten, and the food and service was great. The chicken and waffle sandwich is my new favorite sandwich. The prices were very reasonable; especially kids meals which were $5 or $6. Our only complaint was the music was very loud, uncomfortably loud until we, and I'm guessing, several other groups complained because it was ultimately turned down. I've really liked this restaurant the last few times I've been. Both of the sandwiches I've had (the bomb.com and chicken & waffles) and appetizers have been really well prepared, hot and tasty. T fries are very good too! The food comes out quick, the servers and bartenders are friendly, and it's reasonably priced. Some of the food is hit or miss; The pizza crust seemed pre-prepared and cheap, and the vegetarian wrap could use some more flavor, but overall we will be back many more times! read more

It was okay. It isn't handicapped accessible at all. The elderly people I went with had a very hard time getting to the building as there's no parking near for handicapped. We just ordered some beers and a couple burgers, so not a complicated order. The burger on the menu did not say anything about having mayo but when the order arrived it had it on the bun and the burger. We walked up to the waitress, as she was not coming to check on us, and asked for another bun. Not another burger, but just a bun as we did not want mayo. Needless to say, we never received the bun and when she finally got back to our table 20 minutes later, we were already done. No attempt to compensate for the wrong order.
