Long story short, I'm super stubborn and waited hour to call a tow company when I knew the odds of getting the starter to work one last time were extremely slim. After myself and my father in law tried everything to get my truck to fire up on last time to get home I was beyond freezing when I called! I explained that I had been sitting in the freezing cold truck while getting in and out multiple times for almost 4 hours and I was going to wait with the truck because my father in law had to go pick up my kids! When I tell you I literally grabbed a blanket out of the back of my truck covered up, called my kids school and went to plug my phone in and he was there! he literally was I was so beyond happy and so stinking cold but trying to act like I wasnt too cold.. again being stubborn and he said I got this and then I went to go close my door and he said Ill close it just go get in the truck I got it from here! I felt a instant relief, I knew that I was in good hands! He was beyond nice and so friendly towards me even with me talking his ear off out of serious total frustration with my truck, but also gitty to get my truck home and a weird but funny feeling having to actually have a vehicle towed home for the first time ever! I couldn't drive my Escalade. I could not steer it. Called and politely the dispatch informed me it would be a 1&1/2 hour wait. 30 minutes went by. Then i seen the well maintained, Brickwall Towing Truck logo pull in. I was so happy. My other option was to put my Escalade on a dolly type tow. The Brickell employee heroically jumped heading tword me. Such a gentleman. Offered me to go ahead and sit in his warm truck. The ride home was comforting. Clean reliable tow truck. The polite conversation became warming. Sharing life's experiences. Honestly I and driver share a felony record. It means a lot to me to share this. We all need second chances. I kicked the can too far down the road on a drive shaft I knew needed repairing. When it finally broke on me, the shop I had lined up turned me down (they don't service Toyota).
