RACIAL PROFILNG!! Absolutely horrid experience in this store! Avoid at all costs!! We walked in it was 4 of us (28, me (27), my sister in law (45) and her 9 year old daughter) . We were picking up 3 bottles for a birthday, the gentleman there helped us pick them out he was very kind, we checked out separately, my bf was paying I was on my phone. We got some older chubby white lady and she freaked out on us right from that start she called me over in an aggressive tone and demanded my ID I told her I didn't have it on me, she freaked out screamed at us it was the law and ran to the back with the wine bottles, horrible experience tola us basically to get lost, all in the span of 2 minutes. Horrendous do not go here, I was absolutely speechless at how she treated us, she also started screaming if we were together she had not seen us together she simply assumed because we were both latinas, and was giving us dirty looks. Avoid this place at all costs, that woman is rude, unprofessional and should not be projecting her anger on customers. read more

Good place for buying wine in Barrington. They have a good selection in different price ranges. Staff are always friendly and make good recommendations. They have tasting on fridays and some other nights along with the food truck outside. I'd recommend coming here for wine if you're in this neck of the woods. read more

My "go to" store for finding the perfect wine, beer or liquor when visiting friends and family in Rhode Island. They provide wonderful service and came through in a pinch by having a "hard-to-find" liqueur in stock....Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur. I've grown to love this place. Even though their prices are a bit higher, they will bend over backwards to help you. I had a work project the other days that required a chocolate and wine pairing, so I stopped in to the Brickyard with the chocolate in hopes that their wine person was working. It just so happened that he was there making a purchase and was off of the clock. He took 20 minutes to help me even though he wasn't getting paid. These are the easiest people to deal with with a great selection. They really know their stuff! read more

This (fairly) new liquor store is doing a great job. I have been twice and noticed marked improvement on my second visit. The wine selection is solid and they've obviously made a commitment to engaging customers (they have a sampling area and seem to have plenty of events). They also have a good craft beer selection - mostly in a cooler room which is convenient. They have a beer drinker's loyalty program for people who do a lot of sampling. Awesome selection of local beer & wine! The people that work there are super nice and knowledgeable about the products they carry. Definitely far and above your average liquor store. I had an issue with the store marking up their single malt scotch prices to a ridiculously high level. The employees told me and a neighbor that this was because all scotch prices had risen due to Chinese purchases. I went to a competitor on the East Side of Providence and found no increase in prices and Internet research shows that Chinese consumption has decreased this year. I nicely called the store and told them about this. I was promised a call from the owner which has never happened. As the saying goes caveat emptor. This store apparently is willing to fleece you on prices and justify it by unsubstantiated facts. Buyer beware! read more
