We went in on Halloween day due to my son deciding last minute he wanted/ needed a suit for his Halloween costume. Hands down Bailey was & is the best. She was knowledgeable, helpful, kind, & patient beyond measure. my son didn't have a good idea of what he wanted but I knew it would have to be comfortable, good quality, & to his style. He's quite discerning about his clothes, especially his formal attire. Bailey pieced together suit pants, tuxedo shirt, blazer, vest, & a tie that my son not only loved, felt confident in, but was also comfortable. My son tried on so many things & we were in the store for what felt like hours (it was under 45 minutes thanks to how knowledgeable Bailey is) but Bailey never made me feel rushed or bothersome. Her no pressure, calm, & kind sales approach is why we left happy & will return again & again. My son looked epic on Halloween & at the opera! I can't say enough good things about this store. Bailey definitely deserves all the credit.

We had a change of plans and needed a kids suit for my son to be the ring bearer in our friend's wedding. When we called to ask about pricing they said kids suits are around $80, this apparently only applies to little kids, think 1-6YO suits not big kid suits. Thinking it was affordable we decided to add a suit on the order for my 9YO which ended up costing us $167, it would have been an extra $30 for shoes that were not available to rent, we were told we would have to purchase, so we ended up getting dress shoes at goodwill for $7.99. No where in store or online do they have any transparency on pricing, but also so much so that I heard multiple people refer to the suit rental payment as a "deposit" not a down payment which implies a partial refund upon return in good condition as it is considered a good faith payment to ensure future services. We were given the impression that since it was a deposit we would be receiving some of our funds back. My fiancee went to return the suits and tried to reason with them that we never would have rented a suit for him at this price point and hoped we could at least receive partial refund. If you have the option shop for a kids suit elsewhere or get something tailored from goodwill. The Mr.Formal total will put you in the $200 range for shoes and a basic black suit which was the same price for all the adult groomsmen in the wedding. My parents rented their suits from here and other family over the years and I used to recommend them to everyone, including our friend's wedding on Sunday. Not worth the money and will not be recommending them again.

I'm extremely disappointed with the experience we had at Lady Secrets in Clackamas Town Center. When we arrived, there were only two employees working. While we understand that staffing can be challenging, it was frustrating because they clearly had scheduled appointments and should have planned accordingly. The staff member assigned to help us kept leaving to assist other customers. When we tried to get her attention, we were repeatedly told to wait. We had already selected the dresses my daughter wanted to try on before starting, but none of them were being prepared ahead of time. This caused unnecessary delays and made the whole appointment feel rushed and disorganized. At one point, when we let her know we were ready to try on the next dress, she told us we couldn't because we were out of time even though we still had about 15 minutes left in our appointment. Overall, the service was inattentive, poorly managed, and very disappointing--especially considering we paid for the appointment. We ended up walking out because the experience was so frustrating. I would not recommend this place based on our visit. My daughter and I were looking forward to this place as well so it makes me sad I have to write this bad of a review.

What is important in Portland is that Mr. Bruce, I mean Brent Collier has made a career of going to Italy and buying clothing direct, and the same with the NYLA garment districts. He brings it back to little, but creative Portland. Who else does that here? No one. And Collier has an excellent eye. He buys shirts, suits, jackets, sweaters, ties, belts scarves, and more, in small quantities. The quality is stellar, and the price earthbound. I found a great lightweight wool Italian suit at Collier with extra pants at a very, very reasonable price. Let's just say 1/4 to 1/3 the price of any place in the area. Same for some dress shirts which continue to draw compliments. Collier has a wider range of color than some of our stylish male clothing purveyors who hew to black, brown, gray and white. If you want unique suit fabrics at a reasonable price that would qualify you to be in The Sartorialist http://www.thesartorialist.com/, this is the only place in Portland. His former store was the Stockroom, and all the cool kids in town, now grownups, have been patrons for a while. If you need fashion advice or suggestions shopping, Collier can provide that too. Shopping for yourself, or anyone with a fashion sense, shopping for their boy, will be able to communicate their concept to Collier. And with the Wildfang phenomena, girls looking for the next level of boyfriend shirt look might look here. So anyone shopping for anyone looking for style, quality and unique is totally welcome. There might be spots like this in LA, SF or NY, but visitors to Portland shopping have the advantage of no sales tax. He changes the store up regularly, so it's worth checking in periodically. There is also a tailor right there for alterations. If you want style, quality, uniqueness and price in men's clothing; collar shirt, tie, jacket style, and even some sportswear, Collier is the best and most unique place in Portland.
