I'm happy with the suit, sports coat and shirts I selected. It took about two weeks for the tailoring to be completed. The price was reasonable. The staff in the store were clearly overwhelmed with the amount of customers trying on rental suits. I've shopped at other Men's Warehouse and found the sales folks to be helpful and fairly focused. The sales person I worked with was helpful, but juggling three clients simultaneously. Focus was not on the menu. Maybe I've shopped at (guessing) five other Men's Warehouses, and will confine to do so. This locations vibe just seems to be rentals. Next time I'll try a different location. read more

I went back and ended up needing just the shirt, but he was attentive, took care of me quickly and got the measurements right, which isn't easy on me. We had a great experience at this Men's Wearhouse. Lory helped us out and got me properly fitted for a jacket and we ended up taking advantage of the sales and got some shirts and pants as well. Lory was helpful and personable but not pushy. She genuinely seemed to be invested in getting me the right jacket in my price range. Their selection was wide, and their products are good quality. HORRIBLE! SHOP ELSEWHERE I went to pick up my suit and I took it home to try it on and I didn't like it at ALL. The young girl that took my measurements went big. I'm more of a medium /large and my shirt was a Xl. There was so much loose material it didn't look right. So I took it back the next day wanting to get a refund. The "store manager" Lory didn't want to give me a refund. She tried so hard to try and get me to try the suit on in the store but I didn't want to. She then said she couldn't do a refund. This is where she began displaying irrational anger towards me. Very passive aggressive women. She said I can only give you half a refund. Earlier her assistant bald guy said he could give me a refund just 20 dollars would be taken off which was fine with me. So I confronted her and said what is their store policy cause here two employees are saying totally different things. After an exchanging of words were had she finally decided to do her job and refund me my money with a horrible attitude. Moral of the story go else where! Here you have a miserable woman who gets no male attention and seeks it at her work place profession. Went here to rent a suit for a wedding as I generally have little cause to wear one. It took hours to get fit as they were grossly understaffed and kept jumping from customer to customer. The suit itself didn't fit in the slightest once I picked it up at my destination. I took the suit thinking I had no other option. Day of the wedding I tired it on again and just couldn't wear it. I went to Kohls and was able to purchase a better fit, style and color off the rack. I returned the suit before the event even took place. I have rented tuxedo from MW with no issues before and would recommend them for that. DO NOT RENT A SUIT! Buy one and take it too a taylor.....not theirs. I'll add that I did purchase a shirt, tie and socks from MW. that were functional if not over priced. The socks are about as cheaply made as you can get for $15. The shirt and tie were solid choices and I was able to incorporate them into my purchased outfit. read more

They didn't send my sons suit. when I called the manger was the rudest and made out to be MY fault her associate didn't check the delivery location when the other 3 suits had no issue. Let me tell you something. This place should be SHUT DOWN. The customer service takes more time then it does for me to go on vacation and back. I could build an entire empire by the time I even get the chance to say hello to the first worker here. I first went there to buy a suit and it took me over 4 hours to buy a simple 2 piece matching suit on the least busy day. Note my suit needed no alterations at all. I hope they get new staff soon. I am located in Vancouver Washington and have been trying to rent suits from the Vancouver Washington store. My wedding is June 8, 2024 and I have had my group number set up since January for 7 suits. These have all been prepaid. As of today, 6 of the 7 have been fitted and ordered. Now my issue: We went in yesterday to have my groom, Mike, fitted. We made an appointment. Our wedding is large and expensive and we really want him to look his best. We are very excited about our wedding and were looking forward to the fun of choosing and fitting his suit. Sadly our appointment was frustrating and at times horrifying and we left without a suit. Here is what happened: 1) We told the salesperson that we had not decided between buying or renting. He shrugged. 2) I told the salesperson that we would like help with styling. They offered no response at all but looked causally around the store at other customers. 3) We asked to see the suit options, they pointed to a chart 4) We asked to see the actual suits to see about texture/etc. They brought several suits and dropped them in a pile on the counter, offering no further help. I unpiled them and laid them out on the counter. 5) Three (yes three) of the suits had VISIBLE dirt/smears. We mentioned this and they shrugged saying the suits were merely "samples" 6) At this point I had lost all confidence in this salesperson, I approached another salesperson and quietly asked if I could be assigned a different stylist who would be willing to style my groom. She sent another stylist 7) Second stylist did not appear to know anything more about the suits than the first. When I asked which suit would look best on my groom, they pulled out one and said "this one is popular". Fine, we will go with that one. 8) Salesperson measured my groom and then assigned him a fitting room HERE's where things went SERIOUSLY wrong 9) Salesperson brings my groom a white shirt. It is VISIBLY dirty and stained with sweat. Ugh! NO ONE should be asked to put on dirty sweat-stained clothes!! My groom declined. 10) My groom was given pants to try on, the clasp and zipper were both broken. He was told to hold the pants with his hand. What???!!! How are we supposed to see the lines of the jacket while holding the pants with one hand and your fly open?? 11) He was given one shoe to put on to check the length of the pants. How does this work lopsided? 12) He was given the jacket to try on. It was FARRRRR too big in the torso. FAR too big. He looked like he was swimming in it. The jacket could be held 10 inches out from his stomach. We said it was too big. The salesperson said "that's the style and it's not too bad ". Please note: I have grown sons that I have taken several times to be fitted for suits and at NO time did they have suit jackets that pulled 10 inches away from their body! We left. I am absolutely horrified at the dirty clothes. I'm upset that no care was taken with our fitting. Our concerns about sizing and cleanliness were shrugged off. Honestly, I have NO confidence in the Vancouver store. Question: Can I expect my groomsmen to be given dirty stained shirts for my wedding?? What assurance do I have that their clothes will be clean and free from stains?? Question/concern: If this is the sizing process, what assurance do I have that my groomsmen will look sharp and neat? Question/concern: If sizing is so generic on the rental suits that my groom was not able to be adequately fitted to look sharp at our wedding, why didn't the salesperson offer to sell us a suit? We indicated at the start that we were open to buy. At this point I'm considering canceling my entire order, asking for complete refund and moving my order to a different company, and posting negative reviews. Um, ya. Not really recommended. I would give them one star if it wasn't for reasonable attempts to salvage at least one earlier error by a kind manager at the end. My list of concerns are long but I will share some of the biggest ones with JUST THE GROOM: * The Men's Wearhouse guy who helped us both times was focused elsewhere and didn't seem to care a single iota. The same guy who did the measuring was there for pickup. * The groom's pants were 4" too long. The sleeves were 2.5 inches too long. Groom looked like he was wearing his grandpa's suit. * The Men's Wearhouse guy was dismissive about the concerns. "Oh, that is personal preference." ... UM WHAT? I guess his motto is, "you're gonna look the way you look." We had so little faith in the Vancouver location's ability to ensure it was properly fixed that we drove 40 minutes to another location to get it fixed there. And a week later, we are now getting spam texts that we didn't return the tuxes, SIGH. Even when it ends, it doesn't end. $1200 for four tuxes for one event... just do what you do with a little skill and take our money. It shouldn't be this hard. read more

I was taken back by how horrible the customer service was at this location when they found out that I chose to return clothing I had purchased at another store. My fiancé and I have been planning a wedding and were looking to do this the beginning of Feb '22. Her parents are dealing with what is going on in Europe right now so we have chosen to move the date so everyone can be safe and attend at a later time. I had purchased my outfit and items at the Tigard, OR location where the staff there was outstanding! This could have been because I was spending money but either way I was greeted immediately , had a personal assist help me and give me recommendations and even the manager was involved to make sure I was receiving great service and if there was anything their team could do to make it better. Great shopping experience. When I went to return items at the Vancouver team I was met with a younger gentlemen who was nice up until I said I would like to return where he said it looked worn due to lint on my shirt and that he would be unable to unless a manager was involved. I said kindly I would appreciate that due to we will be moving this date back, I am a bigger guy at the moment and would like to loose some additional weight before the big day. Then I met Darby. Without any introduction he walks up and tells me. "Your clothes look worn, we will not return them.." I paused. Then said that has not been the case. I have tried them on. The lint is from them resting on a bed and table top, the crease is because it has been sitting in a bag for the last weeks. I was informed at the Tigard store I had 60-90 days for return and these were purchased less than 30 ago. Then responds with "your pants have been altered (the other store had hemmed them) I don't know why you were informed that these can be returned. You'll need to go back there". Mind you this is an hour drive each way. I explained that I cannot make that drive and that surely there must be something that can be done. "You can call corporate to see what they can do but I will not do this for you" is the last words I am left with by this manager before I grabbed my items and proceeded to leave. I contacted the customer care team where they gladly gave a shipping label to return my items, apologized for how I was treated, noted that someone would follow up with this manager, and sent over the return policy where it states clearly at the bottom that "a manager can/does have ability to return worn or altered items." This was very frustrating to learn after all this. Darby simply did not want to deal with me. What I had going on, what I needed from MW and in a few quick minutes pushed me to become the corporate's customer service problem and away from his store. I have been in people management and in sales for many years. I would not put people who cut corners in a customer's retail experience in charge of a business. Sales, returns, help of any kind. I will not promote this store in the slightest or return to conduct any of my business. read more

I would not recommend this place at all. What a horrible experience from the beginning to end. Rented a tuxedo, and thought maybe the first visit was just off, maybe they were overwhelmed. The next visit was just as bad when my son picked up his tux. These people need a class in customer service. Nobody greets you, smile, help, or at the least, even acknowledge anyone there. They are absolutely miserable and should find another line of work! Preferably in a box all alone where you all would probably be happier, maybe. From the minute I asked for help, Keenin was knowledgable and supportive, not pushing anything on me. He offered helpful suggestions when I asked and he gave space when I needed. These guys really bent over backwards after a sizing snafu. The jacket was a little small (i was sized out of state) so they ordered a new one to Olympia, nearer the venue. I forgot to pick up the pants, though. So although the jacket got to the Olympia store, the pants were not ordered. However, the manager of the Olympia store and this one worked together to courier the items to the wedding venue 80 miles away in time for the wedding. Next time I'll make sure the first sizing is accurate, but I was really impressed with the customer service. Thank you for helping me be a well dressed groomsman! read more

My husbands father passed away and he needed clothing, so of course we thought of Mens Wearhouse! Sadly this was the WORST experience we have ever had at a Mens Wearhouse...there were 2 pretty young employees there when we arrived. The store is very large, I counted about 10 customers several of which looked like they could use some help with sizes/measurements. We also could have really used some help with measurements/sizes. One young employee at the front counter was helping the same customer the entire time we were in the store which was about 30-40min he seemed to be on the phone perhaps trying to find the customers clothing that was being altered? I finally stood by the front counter waiting to see if someone might acknowledge us and say they would be with us shortly, that never happened! A female employee walked in (there were several of us up by the counter, waiting) seems like maybe she was coming back from lunch and the phone was ringing and she went straight for the phone and spent the remainder of our time there (maybe 20 min) speaking to someone on the phone we finally found what we were looking for and stood at the counter to pay until she wrapped up that phone call! I realize places are short staffed etc...but this is unacceptable it's time for graduations, proms etc...perhaps she could have let the phone ring? I don't know the perfect solution but I do know I have always had great experiences at other locations for Mens Wearhouse, this location had a great selection and we spent well over $400 on two items, but I will NOT be going back to this location! read more

I went into Men's Warehouse yesterday on a small whim. I always have a hard time finding dress slacks that fit me. I am 6'5" and have a unique build and "normal" sizes do not look great on me. I called ahead of time and spoke with David, who I later found out was the manager. He mentioned he would love to help and I decided to head on down. David did a WONDERFUL job at taking care of my needs and providing solutions to my issues. Most places I go always aren't willing to find me the answers about long pants/coats and special sizes, etc. I could go on and on about my positive experience, but I will keep it short. He was so helpful, I was probably his easiest sale of the day. He wasn't pushy or trying to oversell me. He did up sell me with a matching coat and to be honest, the experience was so smooth, I didn't even mind spending the extra money. Service like this is hard to find! Thank you, David. read more

Been with hubby when he has purchased before. The first time all was fine - bought a decent suit, people were very helpful, satisfied by the process. This month we went in so he could purchase another suit. Person helping seemed quite disinterested. First suit we looked at was going to be pushing $800+. I asked if there were any suits on sale. She seemed not pleased by this, but did show us another option. Ended up liking it and purchasing for around $500 plus alterations. She said would be ready the following Wednesday. By the following Friday, no call so hubby called them and the call got "disconnected". No one ever called back. The following week still no call back. Over a week past when it was to be done, hubby called again and was informed it had been done for some time (yes - correct contact info was given upon purchase). Hubby picked it up and they handed it over in a plastic dry cleaner cover. Seriously?!?!?'! That is about the final straw. Customer service is worse, prices are worse, and you don't even get a decent garment bag to keep it stored in anymore. More than dissatisfied. read more

I've shopped and rented at different locations in Oregon and all of them were a one visit to never come back (don't want to go into details here). Finally, last year I decided to try this location at the Vancouver Mall and I've been loving it ever since. Marty, Terry, Cindy, just to name a few, are all amazing. I shop often, both online and in-store and they always call me to remind me to pick up my items as soon as they're ready. When I arrive I am greeted by name and asked how my day is going. I never get treated as a simple potential sale, they have never tried to push a sale on me to the point I feel pressured to do so. They give me the kind of advice that is genuine and with my best interests at heart. The advice they provide varies from style tips to literature related to the designers they carry. The tailors are available to dedicate me their time no matter how busy they are. My son enjoys visiting (he's four) since the time we purchased his first suit from them, which he loves to the point that he doesn't waste a chance to wear it. That was the beginning of his wardrobe which now contains several more items. Every time we visit we leave happier and with more knowledge about style than we walked in with in the first place... read more

My husband and I worked with this specific Men's Wearhouse for our August '18 wedding. My husband went in with no knowledge of tuxedos, but knew he wanted to purchase one for our wedding. We were taken on by Marty. If not for two other associates we met later on, I would be giving this store 0 stars. Marty was everything I absolutely hate about a salesperson, she was slimy and fake, a fast talker, hypocritical, unknowledgable, did not bother to educate my husband and clearly was only worried about her paycheck. As someone who worked as a sales associate at Nordstrom for 4 years, I know a bullshit salesperson when I see one. During our first meeting, I wanted to step back and let my husband pick out his tuxedo on his own, I was planning on walking around the mall but the way Marty acted made me stay. For example, my husband wanted satin piping on his lapel, Marty says "oh that's great I love that let's do it," and goes to look up the code in the computer, only to then say "oh it looks like we can't actually do that but, you know I love it better without the piping don't you?" My husband said no, he wants the piping, then she has someone else find the code and, surprise, turns out we can have the piping afterall. This is just one example of too many. She didn't explain different fabrics or options of cuts, we were given a book and left in the dark. In the beginning she gave us a price of around $300 for a custom tux. We added a vest which we knew upped the price about $75 dollars, and she had him add on all these things without telling him pricing. The tux turned out to be almost $600... money isn't the issue, it was her lack of transparency in why it costed so much and no clear explanation of options. She also kept touching my shoulder which bothered me. When we came back for alterations she seemed frazzled and confused and was running around between customers. This was common at this store, we, among other customers were constantly left waiting for help. Alterations were an undertaking, because it was a custom suit, we could only do alterations about 2 weeks before the wedding because of the rules that accompanied the $400 shopping spree given to my husband from having groomsmen rent their suits here as well. This meant he had to wait to purchase his shirt and tie, underwear etc until 2 weeks before the wedding with alterations taking a week. Luckily during the first fitting, Marty handed us off to associate David who really took the time to explain different alteration options so my husband could achieve the fit he liked. He was a dream. Marty ran back and forth between us and her other customers and frankly I was beyond relieved not to work with her. Unfortunately at his final fitting, he had to go to the Washington Square location after the Vancouver location didn't have the shirt he wanted to buy in stock. I had to remind Marty to call and put the shirt on hold for my husband so he wouldn't drive all the way out there only to find that the one shirt he needed had been sold. He got the shirt at the Washington Square store and had it altered. We got the shirt back from alterations the night before leaving for our wedding. Something was done to the shirt that made the sleeves huge and puffy, like renaissance style, and one arm was taken way into the armpit where the other one was baggy, it looked ridiculous. My husband panicked and had to go back to the Vancouver location to get emergency alterations. Luckily associate Alex (I think?)was apologetic, super helpful, fun, and got us taken care of and the shirt fixed in under an hour. He and David were wonderful. This is the one aspect of our wedding that I really wanted to let my husband do on his own and he was so poorly taken care of. He was so stressed and disappointed which is not how he should've felt, (especially for $600). Also of 7 groomsmen's tuxes, only 3 fit properly, so the Tacoma store had to overnight other sizes in for them because Vancouver measured them wrong. Came to get my fiancée fitted for our wedding. We were deciding to buy or rent. Understanding it was busy. However, as we waited- spoke to two different people to get fitted. They politely quarreled saying they have many customers. We sat, twiddled with our phones. Walked around the store, maybe three times. When I spoke to two workers; I wasn't sure if I had spider on my face, but we felt very uncomfortable. Then fiancée got mad that we were waiting so long, which exasperated the problem. No ones happy; we waited over an hour. Observed two workers that could help; but one blond guy was busy walking back and forth, swinging papers and chatting with people in the shop. Yesterday my fiance and I went to the Vancouver Washington Mens Wearhouse to purchase a suit for my wedding. I was blown away by the customer service provided by Terry and Marty while in their store. Both of them did everything possible to make our special day just that much more special. Each of them went out of there way to find us what we wanted even when we came in with very particular requests. I left the store excited and extremely satisfied with how I looked and my experience in general. I would just like to give a ginormous thank you to both Terry and Marty and tell them both that they made Morgan and I's day yesterday.
