I had the most amazing experience a girl can ask for as my Bridal dress shopping experience. I was blown away by how professional and customer-oriented the business is run. I came in with a low budget and a short timeline before my wedding, and Anna, the owner, was so caring and sweet, and did EVERYTHING in her power to work with me so that I was able to leave with a dress of my dreams ready in time for my wedding in 2 months. (You're supposed to order a custom dress much earlier, don't be like me) Absolutely exceptional experience. It is RARE for a business to be able to accommodate a pickle situation like I was in, but for Anna, she found a way for me to get everything I was hoping for - the perfect dress, UNDER my budget, and scheduled to be tailored by her personal seamstress just in the nick of time before my wedding day. The day before this we had gone to David's Bridal where the bride got overwhelmed because of so many options and an inexperienced consultant. Today at Your Big Day, our consultant was Summer which is the owner, she was helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and offered complimentary champagne ! I really wanted to like this Bridal shop, but every experience I had was incredibly stressful and unsatisfactory. The shop is beautiful, and they do offer some incredible gowns. However from the very start, things did not go well for me. I was never asked what my budget was, and therefore many of the dresses that the owner brought to me were outside of my price point. I ultimately found the dress I wanted here, and Anna did offer me a discount if I were to rent the suits through her as well, which I did. I chose to have my dress altered by the seamstress who worked with the shop (she was fantastic) and Anna instructed me to just call before my appointment to confirm that my dress had come in. I did call and was guaranteed by one of the employees that my dress would be there in time and that my appointment was in the books. However when I showed up for the appointment, I was informed that my dress did not come in, although no one bothered to tell me, even though it was obvious the she booked someone else for my appointment slot. I shrugged it off and just rescheduled. While the seamstress was fantastic, Anna had told me what to expect for a cost for a hem for the dress I chose, but it was more than double what she had prepared me for. As for my experience with the suits, this was actually much worse. She seemed to not have a good way of keeping tack of everything and told us a few times that she needed payment for something that had already been paid for. Including my fathers suit being shipped directly to him, since he lived out of town. I am confident that if I had not reminded her about this, it would not have happened. Anna measured everyone but my father for their suits, so I was shocked when the suits arrived just days before the wedding how many mistakes there were with the sizes, and not because of weight gain or weight loss. We're talking about pants that were too long or shirts that way too short for their arms. My husband's Jacket was FAR too large, yet Anna insisted that it looked just fine. When we asked her to order a specific size replacement she initially refused only offering a size she thought would be better, but after many tense conversations she finally agreed to order an extra jacket. This smaller jacket that we insisted on was ultimately the jacket that worked and that he wore on our wedding day. The jacket showed up just an hour shy of when had to be at our wedding venue for the rehearsal the day before the wedding. While everything worked out in the end, It was not worth the stress that was caused, especially so close to the wedding. Weddings are already so stressful as it is, and I hate to think what would have happened if I had trusted Anna and hadn't been so persistent about the right jacket size. I would not recommend Your Big Day. read more

My niece and my daughter have both found their perfect wedding dresses at Your Big Day! Anna is a lovely person to work with finding the dresses that each of my girls said yes to! The best part I think is being able to find the dress and not necessarily have to order it, wait for it to come, fittings, alterations, etc., but to be able to buy it right off the rack! The minute we walked in we were welcomed. There is tons of dresses to select from, great big dressing rooms and a huge mirrored area with a comfy couch! I was not a big fan of this bridal store. I felt like the consultant hovered over my shoulder while I was picking out dresses and there was not that big of a selection, so I felt awkward. She made me try on 4 different silhouettes to see what style I wanted but I already knew what I wanted and this felt like a waste of my time. She pulled a dress for me that was $1000 OVER my budget, and then put on a veil and gave me a bouquet. It really felt like she was just trying to make a sale. She would not help me twirl around to show my party the dress because she kept saying "she was team bride" and only my opinion mattered, but I brought important people with me because their opinions matter. She had a strong belief that dresses should be for fashion and not for comfort so when I said I didn't like a dress because I couldn't walk in it, she didn't care which resulted in me not liking the dresses she pulled. She also put a veil in my hair so rough that I had a headache for an hour after the appointment. On the positive side, the shop is the perfect aesthetic of what a bride looks for when bridal shopping, it just wasn't the experience that did it for me. The owner was very nice, brought us all champagne, and did listen to what I liked, but sadly she wasn't the consultant. read more
