I live in Nashville but Charlotte's carried a veil designer I loved. I called to see if I could order the veil and pick it up while I was home for Christmas so I could avoid sales tax. The ladies on the phone were nice enough, and they did a great job of getting back to me promptly. The only really negative part was their pricing structure. These guys wanted to charge 35% more for the veil than both the shops in Nashville and Louisville. Even with sales tax included it was a 22.5% price increase from the Louisville store. I asked if there was a reason for that big of a price hike and didn't get a definitive answer other than they had "other factors that went into the price of the veil". I'm going to order the veil from one of the other shops I went to. Just thought I would leave some feedback for other brides that are budget conscious! read more

Sadie was so sweet and understanding. She met me where I was and let me take charge of the appointment. The very first dress I tried on ended up being the 'one'. Where do I begin...my stylist kept complaining about her day during my entire appointment. After I told her that I had a different dress in mind from a different boutique that I really liked, she wondered why we had come to our appointment there. My stylist wouldn't listen to me or my preferences and we all felt a bit off about the entire appointment. I did end up ordering a custom veil from them and was super excited to pick it up a few months later. When I went in to pick up my veil, whoever was working at the counter didn't engage with me really at all, handed me my veil and didn't say anything to me after. I understand being busy and not having time to have an entire interaction with each customer that comes into the shop, especially as someone who also works in customer service, but the complete lack of effort was disappointing considering how much time and money I spent there for what is supposed to be a very big and special time of my life. I had so much fun coming here with my mom! Makayla and manager Stephanie helped me try on various gowns and pin me "right". What a difference it makes getting pinned! So many beautiful dresses to choose from in a variety of price ranges. I really appreciated Makayla asking what my budget was and really tried to stick with it as close as possible. She did show me a couple of "stretch" options and wouldn't you know of course I fell in love with one of those! Story of my life! Hannah was the stylist that helped pick out my dream wedding dress. Before the appointment, Hannah set aside time to call me over zoom, and we managed to connect with my hectic schedule! She was so patient with me, and once we talked, she immediately helped me feel at ease because I was a little nervous about finding something I loved. I did let her know that I had bought a dress at anthropologie's sample gown sale, however did not have a bridal experience, and she invited me to bring it to the shop, which I thought was incredibly kind and above and beyond customer service considering it was from another business! During the call, she also walked through where I was in the dress buying process, what to expect at the appointment, and styles/items I was drawn to. By the end of the call and afterwards I was so excited for the dress try-on weekend. At the appointment, Hannah immediately helped my group get comfortable by being like an old friend, and she sat on the bridal round to sit and chat with us for awhile. We talked about how the appointments for the weekend had gone, if I had honed in on things more, and offered refreshments. She suggested that she would bring a couple dresses in that she had in mind, but I was so enamored with the dresses in the shop, I wanted to walk around a little bit and she was so nice to let me! When we went out there, she asked if I wanted to see the one that she had thought of after our call, to which I said yes and it was so pretty. After she had brought back refreshments, we went to the dressing room and she asked me which one I wanted to try on first, and I picked the one she thought would be my fave. Well, it ended up being the one. Hannah was such an incredible support throughout the process - helped make it feel snug even though it did not fit so I could visualize more of how it would look on me, listened to my concerns, and helped give my group a heads up on the things that I knew they would ask about. I had been eagerly looking forward to my wedding dress appointment for a few weeks after finding out that they carried my favorite dress designer, Lillian West. I understand that we are in a pandemic but everything just felt awkward and disappointing. Nothing like I had read about in reviews. First, my friends were to be in the same "suite" with me as I was trying on my gowns. I'm a modest person and that was incredibly awkward. We ended up using the room next door to change. I picked Charlotte's because I was told that they had an excellent plus size selection...that we didn't even get to see or look through. My stylist picked out a few dresses (only one being Lillian West) and really pushed a sale that day. I told her that I really needed my mom to be with me to make the final decision and she said it would just be easier to have her be there for the fittings. I felt dejected. Charlotte's is simply phenomenal! I went shopping for my dress in March 2018, and Stephanie was my AMAZING stylist. She was so knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable. I am considered a plus-size bride, so Stephanie pulled dresses to meet the specifications that I had asked for, and also pulled some that she thought would compliment my figure. I wasn't expecting to find my dress on the first day that I went shopping, but I did! Stephanie had selected a gorgeous Justin Alexander gown that I definitely did not expect to love, but it completely complimented my figure, was absolutely beautiful, and was within my budget. Stephanie was also able to find a veil that almost exactly matched my dress. I was so impressed and everyone in the room was crying! After the dress was ordered and I picked it up, Charlotte's was also able to help me find a seamstress that did amazing work on my dress. They also offered an amazing deal during December on steaming and pressing gowns, and they helped me understand how to transport my dress, since my wedding was several hours away from their store. They are also great with communication, as I knew every step of the way where my dress was in the process. Overall, I cannot say enough positive things about Charlotte's! Their staff are so incredibly helpful and kind, and they truly take care of their brides. I highly recommend Charlotte's to any bride who is looking for amazing selection and service. I had my appointment with Jen today and it was so much fun! Even though I had already found my dream dress at a different store, Jen still pulled dresses for me to try! Jen respected my budget and did her best to pull dresses from the rack that she knew I would like. I tried on about four dresses with Jen but each time I tried on a different dress, it made me realize how much I love the dress I chose earlier today at a different store. Jen was super nice when I told her that I won't be buying a dress from CW, and instead of saying "k bye," she helped me try on some accessories and veil so I can see what my complete look will look like on my wedding day :) Jen was super sweet and its fun talking to someone who has the same wedding date as me! Was super disappointed with the service we received and the booking process. We were greeted rudely, and told that we should have received an email that no booking was available. In reality, we only ever received a confirmation and no phone call. Rather than be nice and explain the process, as there was obvious confusion, we were told it's only a request form over and over. We looked through my online favorites from their website, and she quickly pulled 4 dresses for me to try on. It was the "wild card" dress that she pulled for me that ended up being my absolute favorite! Stephanie was an absolute doll. We immediately clicked and she listened intently to my feedback on every gown, ultimately picking the most stunning dress for my body type and vision. The staff at Charlotte's was incredibly professional, helpful, and friendly. One other consultant walked by and complimented me in the dress, she wasn't even working with me but took the time to stop by anyways! My dress was within my budget and was perfect in every way. How do I even begin? I have nothing but positive things to say about Charlotte's. My supervisor referred me to Charlotte's after seeing the sample sale they have going on for December. I quickly went online to schedule an appt. I received an e-mail not too long after with information about them and to confirm appt date and time. I ended up needing to change the date of my appt so I sent an e-mail and received a prompt response from Ryann. Moving on to the actual appointment..My mom and I walked in and were immediately greeted by a friendly employee who told us to make ourselves at home. Right away we felt the warmth of the boutique. My appointment started on time and Stephanie was my consultant. She directed us to a spacious private room which had two large mirrors, 4 or 5 chairs, a pedestal, drawers to hold bobby pins and hair ties, and a nice soft and comfy robe. Stephanie asked questions about my visions for my wedding and wedding dress. She took everything I said into account and went on to pull 3 dresses from the racks after she offered us champagne or water. I wasn't sold on the first 3 dresses she brought me so she asked what were my likes and dislikes of the dresses and brought in 3 more. I was falling for 2 of the 3 from the second batch, but decided to ask her if there was at least 1 more dress she had in mind. She went back out and brought the last one in. Before she even placed it on the hook I already knew it was "the one". I tried it on. Stephanie, my mom and I immediately knew it was a winner!!! I pretty much had my heart set on the dress but already had another appt set for somewhere else 2 days later so we did not purchase the dress that day. She was understanding of this and offered to make appt the same day as the second location just in case I didn't find a dress at the other boutique.Thankfully things did not work out at the other shop and I could not wait to get back to Charlotte's. The second visit to Charlotte's was even better than the first. 1. Because I got my dress and 2. Because the other consultants were also very helpful! I ended my visit by taking a photo in front of their backdrop and with their "I said yes" sign. (They have props too!) Besides the wide variety of wedding dresses they also offer bridesmaid dresses, mother of the bride dresses, flower girl dresses, jewelry, headpieces, Spanx, and veils and I believe bra tape. A perk of becoming one of their brides is receiving a discount towards your bridal party's dresses. I cannot say anything, but amazing things about this establishment! From start to finish everything was damn near perfect! Stephanie listened to all my requests and did not make me feel uncomfortable whatsoever. She even took the time to get to know my mom. Extremely friendly, tentative, understanding, and upbeat. She definitely added spice to this experience! I went to quite a few bridal shops in town and Charlotte's had the dress I fell in love with and said yes to! I actually went into Charlotte's last summer when I was dead set on getting a ballgown and Nicole was so sweet (love her energy!) and brought me so many different gowns to look at. I wasn't loving myself in them and ended up walking away that day. A couple months later I was still striking out and I saw Charlotte's was having a trunk show so I figured it would be the perfect chance to see what they had! The day of my appointment I decided on a whim that I wanted to try on fitted dresses since I still hadn't fallen in love with a ballgown and loved all over lace that you can usually only find on fitted dresses. Nicole was my bridal consultant again and she was all over wanting to get me in some fitted dresses! She pulled a few from the trunk show and the first one I tried on was so beautiful and had the kind of lace I loved! It surprised me to see myself in something that was the total opposite of what I thought I wanted that it took me a minute to realize how much I loved it! We had even put it back on the rack and I could not get over how amazing I looked in it and asked to try it on again! I always thought I'd wear a ballgown but there I was saying yes to a fitted dress! The dress came in the timeframe they said it would and it was great working with Nicole! This place was awesome. I made our appointment well in advance after having heard great things about them. I'm so glad we did. Not only did we receive great service, our stylist (not sure what you call them LOL) Jennifer enjoyed our terrible jokes, put up with myself (MOH) & the mother of the bride doing dumb stuff & answered all of our questions while giving great advice. We also reminisced about how we'd all been to the Maroon 5 concert the night before! My best friend ended up saying "YES" to the dress & we are so happy for the experience! The dress was only slightly higher than the budget we had set in place, but we had told our stylist that it was a bit flexible so that was no big deal. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone shopping for wedding dresses!! The downsides: you aren't allowed to have beverages. I brought Starbucks for the 3 of us but we couldn't bring them in the dressing room. But they did let us leave them on the front counter where we could easily sip on them while perusing the shop!! Bridesmaid / MOB dresses... the selection is small & overpriced. The dresses are mostly plain, run of the mill dresses you can find anywhere else for a quarter of the price. Also the MOB & myself couldn't even get a good idea of how any of them would actually look because they were all in a size 8 that ran more like a size 4.
