I had a WONDERFUL  experience at Bridal Reflections, and I'll preface this by saying that I didn't end up getting my dress there but I had such a great experience I have to write a review. The store itself if beautiful and full of fresh current dresses, both for brides, bridesmaids and mother of the brides. I have to say after hunting for a while, I really appreciate that they don't just carry size 8 or 10 samples and had some dresses that were or close to my size. I worked with George who was warm, caring, and knowledgeable. He listened to what I wanted in a gown and also pulled things that he thought would look great on me and they were beautiful!! He had such a great energy and even pulled a dress that I thought was the one, I even said yes to it. But then I kept having this voice in my head telling me that I wasn't sure about it and should sleep on it,  and I'm glad I listened. George was supportive but disappointed I could tell, especially since he spent so much time with me but he even offered to come in ON HIS DAY OFF to finish the final steps. Now THAT is premium customer service! My only word of caution is be aware that their veils and accessories are EXTREMELY marked up in price. I know because I've found the same veils I liked for 200-400 LESS at other bridal salons.  I highly recommend this salon when hunting for your gown! read more

Bridal Reflections was my third stop and I wish it was my first! The store is clean and staff wear masks. You are allowed up to 3 guests and have your own area to try on dresses and have your guests sit. I felt extremely comfortable there. Jackie was my consultant and she was truly amazing!! She took the time to ask me questions about my style and likes/dislikes and walked me around the store to show me dresses. At one point she said, I got your style and started bringing me dresses. From the first one I put on, I knew she got it and that the dress was the one. She showed me different ways to style the dress and brought me other options to try on as well. She was extremely attentive, patient, knowledgeable and dedicated to what she does. Jackie found me my dream dress within my budget and made it a wonderful experience. Before going to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place, I was nervous I would not find a wedding dress that I truly loved. First, the bridal store is very pretty and comfortable to be in. Upon entering the bridal store I met Jackie who immediately made me and my parents feel welcomed. She was warm, friendly and very informative. She had great professional knowledge in wedding gowns and made trying on dresses such a special experience for me and my parents. She was very helpful and listened carefully to what I liked and disliked about each dress I tried on, which led me to finding my dream wedding dress!!!!!! I can't even explain how much patience and time she put into my two appointments. Her attention to detail, advice and hospitality is unmatched. She went above and beyond. Truly BEYOND. Love this boutique bridal shop where you get excellent personal service from Charles and his team. When we drove up, I remembered it's where I bought my mother of the bride dress for my oldest of 3 daughters 22 years ago. Anyway, after getting a few ideas on what my daughter was looking for, they brought out several gorgeous bridal gowns. We loved them all. This was our first stop, as we had made appts with 4 other shops. We normally shop around for the best value, but knew that the first dress she tried on was it! And it was very reasonably priced. When coupled with the gorgeous long veil, the total cost was equal to what we would've spent for the gown alone at the other 'bougie' shops. There was no pressure but we were so sure, that we bought it on the spot, and celebrated with champagne and sweets. So easy, pleasant and stress free. I have never written a negative review in my life but, I think it's only fair to warn other bridesmaids so they never have to experience what we have. Myself as well as three other bridesmaids were sized incorrectly by the manager . When we went to pick up our dresses we all ran into the same problem. The dress zipper never fully zippered. We are made of different shapes and sizes so it struck us odd that this was the case. Instead of taking direct ownership for her error the consultant body shamed two of us at separate fittings saying " we must have gained weight". Now in this day in age you would think a woman would be more sensible than to say something so egregious. Weight is a sensitive topic for many and the consultant could have handled it with more tact. However once the consultant realized it wasn't a "weight issue " and it was a HER sizing four of us incorrectly NO apology was issued. She just threw in alterations complimentary. Which is the least they could do after we played bridesmaid dress roulette / shuffling dresses around in order to avoid ordering new dresses that would have been cut of a different fabric and dye. Accountability would have gone much further. I'm personally at that stage of life where I have many friends getting married and I would never recommend bridal reflections based on my experience. To add another layer to this saga my uncle whom is a well known custom tailor in NYC also added to the incompetence to the woman who sized us saying " l it would be nearly impossible for the sizes to be that skewed even if you would have gained 30 pounds" read more

This past Saturday, I started out my wedding dress journey at David's Bridal and the experience was absolutely awful. After leaving, I felt disappointed that I did not have an exciting first time experience putting on a wedding dress. So after many friends recommended it, I reached out to Bridal Reflections and they were able to squeeze me in for a same day appointment! I had the pleasure of working with Jackie! She was so attentive, honest, friendly, and really steered me in the right direction to find my dream dress! After pulling dresses and taking into consideration all of my feedback on each, she wound up pulling THE dress! I could not believe how easy and pleasant she made this experience! She did not pressure me at all whatsoever, and let me take my time in deciding on the dress. Overall, thanks to Jackie and her patience and help, I forgot all about my bad experience before coming to Bridal Reflections. She really did save the day for me and I am so happy to have found my dress there. Because of my experience, my mother also plans to get her mother of the bride dress from there as well! I got married last Saturday, October 5 2019. I held off on writing this review because I thought that if I gave myself a week or so I'd cool off and wouldn't be so bothered by my experiences, but I'm just as upset today as I was last week. Let me just start off by saying I'm not a difficult customer and my friends and family actually tell me that I'm too nice and to be more assertive so for me to write this review speaks volumes. I live approximately 1 hour away from bridal reflections in Carle Place, NY (without traffic). Leading up to the final pick up, I went back for the 3 standard dress fittings. When I saw my dress for the first time I was very disappointed that my dress did not appear exactly how the sample did. The top left and right sides were not symmetrical and it looked like someone bit a chunk out from the chest area. My dress was very detailed with beading and lace and one side looked like the lacing and beading was missing. I voiced my concerns and showed them pictures of the sample I had tried on looked like to show them what I felt was missing. The tailor agreed and assured me that it would be fixed. Beading was also missing or had fallen off throughout the dress, partially by the hip area.. I also voiced these concerns and they assured me that on thursdays they go through the dress "with a fine tooth comb and make sure everything is perfect" before I leave with the dress. None of my concerns were fixed at any of the 3 fittings. On Friday October 4th I went to pick up the dress which was already inconvenient enough because, as I mentioned before, it takes at least an hour to get there and it was the day before my wedding. I got there to find out that the chest area was "fixed" but not perfect and no one went through the dress "with a fine tooth comb" because the missing beading was still missing. Long story short, I was there for 2 hours going back and forth and waiting to have my dress to be ready. I left annoyed and in a rush but I thought to myself.. *thank god that's over and my dress is now perfect* Half way into the night... the beading that was previously missing had fallen out which means no one correctly sewed it back on. I spent all the time, money, and energy and my dress didn't last me the entire night and now I'm left with a dress missing a lot of beading. I'm very disappointed and don't wish this experience on anyone. Everyone is nice and will promise you the stars... but at the end, there's no follow through. read more

Best bridal salon ever! From my first appointment I was treated like a queen and every appointment until I picked up my gown for my daughters wedding. One of the worst experiences that I would not wish on any bride. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS ABOUT THE SEAMSTRESS WORK!! Everything was great when I went there to choose my dress. Shortly there after everything went downhill. I had told them when I went to buy the dress that I wanted to lower the back add buttons to the back and add straps. I was told time and time again that everything was fine and they were able to do this. Because of the different changes I had asked them to start my fittings earlier to make sure I had them done with time to spare. They assured me that one month prior was more than enough time. I went for my first fitting and everything was looking good. We lowered the back and saved the buttons and straps from my next fitting. The week of my wedding I had What was supposed to be my last fitting. When I tried the dress on with the buttons they were going left and right because they were not sewn on properly. The seamstress assured me that she could fix it if I could wait two hours. My mother and I agreed and came back in two hours to an even worse appearance. The buttons in the back completely pulled. So I had to ask the seamstress to remove the buttons all together because it was the week of my wedding and I could not chance it or walk down the aisle that way. Again we were asked to wait three hours. When we came back it was close to closing time. We took the dress home because we would be unable to go back to long island as they were closed on Wednesday for Fourth of July and Thursdays. Upon trying the dress on at home I was completely dissatisfied and had to have another family friend who is a seamstress fix the dress the way the salon should have had it done. I suggest NO ONE trust the seamstress Or and save yourself the headache! I should have listened to the reviews!!! read more

I had a great experience buying my dress from bridal reflections in Carle Place. My consultant was really helpful in helping me select the perfect dress for me. I was very indecisive and wasn't sure the type of dress that I wanted, she helped me try on a bunch of styles and fit until I found the right one. Also was not very pushy. I returned back to the salon multiple times until I finally made my purchase to make sure that I was confident in my decision. Bridal reflections was the fourth wedding dress shop I visited during my hunt for a dress and ended up being my last stop. Within the allotted time for the bridal appointment I found my dream dress! The assistant was very helpful and listened to exactly what I was looking for. When I had to go back for fittings they were always attentive and the tailor did an excellent job. She was very sweet and honest about what needed and what didn't need tailoring. I went to Bridal Reflections in Carl place today with my mom, nana, sister and future mother in law. My bridal consultant was Jackie Salame, she was absolutely AMAZING. It was my first time dress shopping, she kept me calm and she really listened to me. She is a dress genius and knew exactly what would and wouldn't look good on me. She was completely invested in me during my appointment time and I truly felt like I was the only bride in the store. I ended up saying YES TO THE DRESS!!!! One of the worst customer service experiences ever. I still can't believe what happened. Came in here with my mom and sister looking for a Mother of the Bride dress. Started to look around and picked out a few to try on. The sales woman looked at one we had picked and said, "Are you sure you want that? It's a $3,000 dress. I'd hate for you to try it on and fall in love with it and not be able to afford it." My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe we just experienced a real life Pretty Woman/Selena moment. We all were stunned and affirmed that we wanted to try on the dress. But seriously- WTF?! What gives them the right to decide who can afford what based on how they look?! I really wish we had read the previous reviews before going- because apparently ours is not the first incident of this. The dresses ended up being fugly anyway, so I wish them luck selling them at that price. Stay far away. read more

Take your money elsewhere. I came here with my Mother and Father to find my Mother a dress for my wedding. We walked in and weren't greeted at all. We then saw a sign that said that all "Children and Men" had to wait in the waiting area and couldn't watch anyone try on dresses. Excuse me? My dad will walk wherever he pleases when he's spending my family's money in a store. Then we started looking at dresses and my Mom said she wanted to try on a dress that was on the Mannequin. I asked how much it was and an employee said "It's about $3,000." My Mom told her that was out of her budget and she didn't even offer to help us look for any other dresses. She said "tell me if you see anything you like." It seemed like just because we weren't willing to buy a 3,000 dollar dress she wanted nothing to do with us. Also the selection was horrible. Over the top, gaudy, gross. Also, while my Mother was trying on dresses no one was there to help. The person "helping" us had a aggravated look on her face the whole time and was extremely unfriendly. Guess who zipped up my moms dresses? Me. I didn't realize that was my job. Does this store treat anyone nice? Why would people come and spend thousands of dollars to be treated like crap? Go to another store, where people give a damn. read more

I have to say, I was really let down by this store. I went to the salon with 2 of my bridesmaids to looks for bridesmaid dresses for them to wear in my wedding. I had one of the first appointments in the morning, and I really had high hopes . First we were not assisted at all really when I checked in for my appointment. The girl who I checked in with said to pull dresses that I wanted to see and she would come get them and stick them in a room for them. Really? That's it? So whatever, the three of us start pulling dresses but the racks were a mess. Dresses were tangled up in each other, samples were ripped and snagged, it was a disaster. Plus they really have a very small selection compared to other stores that I have been too. Then while one of my bridesmaids comes out of the fitting rooms in our separate area to show me a dress, one of the other workers who was helping a separate group asked if she could come out and show them the dress while she had it on. UHM HELLO! How unprofessional is that?! When I finally found a dress that I liked, I found out the dress was $289.00, and since I had such a large wedding party (12 girls in total) they would "throw me a bone" and give me $10 off each dress. lol. This place is a joke. I walked. There goes there sale of $3,468.00, plus accessories and tailoring fees.. oh wait, I forgot about "The bone they are throwing me", so deduct $120.00... The staff was not helpful, very unprofessional, they need better samples or at least take care of the ones they have, plus keep an orderly area. However I did like that each room was for a specific need: flower girls, bridesmaids, mother of the bride/pageant, and bride, ect... I took my business to a local competitor. Plus when I told them about my horrible experience, they gave me a HUGE discount lol. adios bridal reflections! read more

I came here one day looking for a bridal gown on my own. My sisters and mother live out of state/country so my idea was to get a preliminary look at styles that I like, so that when my sisters and mom can come shopping with me, I can at least have narrowed down the type of style I want. I walked in and they were accommodating and told me to take a look around the store while I waited for the consultant. My consultant came and found me and kinda sized me up. I am a plus size bride, and as i was walking around the store I didn't see anything above a size 12... which is really a size 8 in real life... so that was pretty discouraging. I then asked the consultant if there were any gowns that were plus size and her response was "not that you'll fit into... you may just have to hold the dresses in front of you and make a decision that way..." .....WHAT? are you serious? You expect me to make a decision on my wedding dress based off of looking at it in the mirror while holding it in front of me? I was somewhat mortified that it was even a suggestion. I should have walked out after that comment, but I looked around a little more and then told her I'd be back another day. I will be going to their Massapequa location where they DO carry plus size dresses. I suppose I just wish that instead of making a ridiculous comment like my consultant did, I wish she would have just told me about the Massapequa location and sent me on my way. There was no use wasting my time and feelings. oh well...live and learn. read more

My bridesmaids and I specifically made an appointment for bridesmaid dresses so we could get some one-on-one attention from the ladies here. It was really a waste of time to even try to get any of the ladies' attentions. They pulled a few dresses for us and we had to constantly beg them to come by and clip the dresses on my future sister-in-law, who is a size 0 and was swimming in most of the dresses. The head tailor even had the nerve to come over to us later and ask that we schedule an appointment next time (even though we did specifically for that day!!) and that they would need to improve on their "traffic situation." Their excuse was that a lot of bridesmaids showed up without appointments, which didn't make sense to me since supposedly this place is "appointment only." The only redeeming factor of going to this store was that their dresses were a lot better laid out than the dresses we saw at R K Bridal that morning. We managed to find something we liked, but decided not to buy it from them since they wouldn't even give us the time of day. read more

This is my first coming here and boy it has been an experience. I came to get a bridesmaid dress. The dress is ok, however their way of measuring people is a complete rip off. The dresses we chose they claim are based off European sizes and are generally 2-3 sizes smaller than the standard American sizes. I'm generally a size 8-10 and they measured me at a size 22! I lost some weight and went back to get re-measured and they measured me at 20....a month and half later the dresses arrive and I go to get fitted. The dress is so big it could have fit 2 people. This is where the scam comes in. Since I'm in a wedding party the cap for alterations is $115. My alterations came up to $125. According to them since I didn't meet the cap, I have to pay the $125. I was so confused and annoyed....I went back a week later to try the dress again. The bust was still lose, the dress was still long, there was a bubble in the butt area apparently the manufacturer did not make the dress properly and there was bunching of material around the zipper which looks horrible. In addition the hem was done incorrectly. The back was short and the front was still long. So I am waiting again to go re-try for a third time. I strongly suggest that if you do chose to use this venue make sure you carry your shoes and they measure you appropriately. So the end result..... So the bust was still lose and the bubble in the back did not get better. However the hem was perfect. The satin under layer did not lay straight and was bunched up. I was so over it at this point. read more

Stay away from Carle place location and go to massapequa where the people are nicer and they actually get you what you want. I was in the Carle place location and I asked to see a dress and I was told "oh, those dresses start at $1,000." By a poofy hair stuck in the eighties older white woman. I Am not sure how broke I actually looked but I can assure you that I can afford a $1,000 dress. After that I was waiting and I overheard one worker tell a bride that one of the dresses she liked wasn't nice on her. Instead of being sincere the woman said to the girl "no way not this one, that looks ridiculous on you!" In a generation where girls self esteem is already threatened, the last thing you need is a woman way past her prime telling you the dress you like will look ridiculous in you. The only reason I feel compelled to make remarks about the staffs looks is because they judge how the customers look. The only people who didn't judge ones pocket size or appearance was Liz and the girls at the front desk. As for the other 50 and up crew that works there, please look in the mirror before making accusations. read more

Innacurate sizing had several women come to size me they wanted to put me in a 6 (typically I'm 105lbs and 5'2). Three separate saleswomen came to size me and came up with different measurements. The woman snottily had me sign that I was supposed to be 6 before paying for my dress. After being belittled for being aware of my own size I went with a size 2. Upon receiving the dress at size two it was still too big and with 3 inch heels I need it altered five inches (5'2 my height). All around the women are not trained accurately for sizing and are pretty rude. Heard one of saleswoman laugh and called a woman thick to another saleswoman while the client was trying on dresses. Fat shaming should never be tolerated and it's horrible for women to belittle other woman especially in an environment that is supposed to be celebrating love and family read more
