I had a bad experience at the shop on Feb 17,2026 I stop by the shop to get a simple tire sensor…read morefor my back tire they fixed the flat and added a sensor, the problem was when they put the sensor on the mechanic could not get the tire symbol off my dashboard so I ask him not to try anymore because I said to myself if he can not get it off and keep trying he's going to mess up something and as soon as I went to work that evening I started my car on one of my breaks I had three more symbols lightning up on the dash board and they were lights for my breaking system so right now the lights are still on because am scared to let a different mechanic mess with it but I'm going to take it back to Chicago to let my regular mechanic fix it and by the way I received a text from them saying that they hope the experience was OK and I wrote on the text back that it wasn't so good thinking they would ask why but no more question to the service am not saying its a bad place to get your car fixed but the experience I had was not a good one

By 3:30 I got a call that it was done but they noticed a caliper was leaking. They put calipers on last year. They looked it up, yep still under warranty. They also changed my load and rotors, for that warranty. Nick works with you, and I've got a SIL who's a mechanic, so he verified to me what the shop was telling me. I've been going here for abt 2.5years for my vehicle, and I've NEVER felt like they were just trying to jump up price on me. Careful of the reviews from about 10-12 months ago from today... new employees are honest. I've read some of the reviews from back then, and of course that's when my calipers were originally done. BTW, Nick didn't have to, but he didn't charge for the pads and drums, because he was making up for the last time when they had my car longer than quoted. Honest guy, good work, not overpriced. Bonus... he's got cases for sale too if you can't afford the dealerships.

Do your homework even if you have to pay to get the vehicle checked somewhere else because you will still save a huge amount of money.
