Not my first choice…read more My sister decided that she wanted all her bridesmaids to buy their dresses from this store. Our first experience went ok, we were paired up with a new salesperson, who seemed to flounder at times and the owner had to step in. After that, the experience went downhill. We were told the dresses would be in on a certain date, then the date changed and then changed again. I was told that we didn't really need to have the dresses until two and half weeks prior to the wedding. Knowing that I would be eight mouths pregnant by the time the wedding occurred and also knowing that I would have to have extensive alterations done, this was not acceptable. I called and left a message and didn't hear back until almost two weeks after my call. I then got a letter in the mail, blaming my sister for all the delays, saying that she took a long time to come in and pick out fabric colors. She lives in a different state, 6 hours away. We also had to wait on the manufacturer of the fabric to send in a swatch of the correct color, since the store didn't have one on hand at the time of our appointment. We ended up getting the dresses in ~one and half months prior to the wedding and my alterations done in time but the staff were hard to get in touch with, didn't call back in a timely manner and the experience was less than desirable, especially for a boutique bridal shop that attempts to provide a first-class and stress-free experience. If you're looking for beautiful, designer dresses that look (and are) expensive, this is your store. If you're looking for a nice, stress-free experience, Bella Vista would not be my first choice.
