A Plus Alteration - The shoes had way too much space in between and she was able to adjust the spacing for me to make it look like a right fit.

Could not thank this business enough! I was the matron of honor for my cousin's wedding on June…read more13th. On June 1st, the alterations that she was trying to do through the boutique where she got her dress were stopped as they could not get it right. They had been working on the dress for 5 months, and had had 5 appointments, and were wholly unable to get even the hemline right. With right at a week before the bride had to leave for the event, we were on the hunt for a new seamtress! One place was unable to help as they just didn't have the time due to the extensive work needed. A friend recommended this place and we raced over. They looked at the previous work and told us the dress had been ruined by the previous attempts, but they could fix it. Hannah & Jamie were lifesavers! They were able to get the dress back to 0 overnight, and then began the real alterations. The first fitting came back near perfect. With a tweak or 2, it was ready to go with the weekend to spare! They truly saved the day, and the bride's sanity! I am also a wedding planner, and have already begun recommending them to my clients. It is so hard to find a GOOD seamstress, I only ever notice the bad ones. But Hannah & Jamie were a Godsend and I am so thankful for them! Their attention to detail, hard work, and knowledge all came together for a beautiful finished product!

The best choice for wedding gown alterations and any other alterations! I am so glad I trusted them…read morefor the most important dress of my life. Jamie, Heather, and the entire A+ team are the best of the best! If you are looking for perfection, professionalism, and genuine care for your wedding dress, look no further. For several weeks, they patiently, skillfully, and meticulously worked with me to make my gown flawless. Every single fitting was a joy - the shop has such a warm, elevated energy, and you constantly see other happy clients floating in and out. My ball gown is now absolutely PERFECT. When I first brought it in, it required complex, multi-layered alterations, and the A+ team delivered beyond my wildest expectations: - Custom Modular Sleeves: They created two stunning, interchangeable sets of sleeves so I can transition my look throughout the night. - The Perfect Hem: The length is tailored beautifully, allowing the gown to flow effortlessly. - Bespoke Groom's Accessories: They used the excess fabric from my dress to craft a matching bowtie and pocket square for my fiancé: a beautiful, sentimental touch. - A Showstopping Bustle: Instead of taking the easy route with standard clear buttons or basic hooks like other shops do, they hand-crafted five gorgeous, custom buttons using my gown's fabric. It is a work of art in itself. Most impressively, they conquered a MAJOR structural upgrade: a zipper along the side of the dress. While we initially weren't sure if the gown's design would allow it, Jamie and her team used their incredible expertise to make it happen flawlessly. Their level of technical skill is unmatched--they seamlessly pull off complex alterations that other shops simply cannot do. The ladies of A+ didn't just alter my dress; they became a cherished part of my wedding experience. For the rest of my life, whenever I put my dress on, I will remember the incredible care and craftsmanship they poured into it. I truly feel like a bride in it. Wedding photos to come! Thank you, Jamie, Heather, and team! Johns Creek is incredibly fortunate to have you!

This family-owned business has done two alterations for me and I'm very satisfied with the quality,…read moreservice, timeliness and prices. They take card transactions but in some cases, if you're rushing an order, they take cash. Things you should know: I. PARKING The alteration shop is within the Medlock Village Shopping Center plaza. There's a free private parking lot out front with available spaces. II. SERVICE Excellent ~ my first visit here was a stressful situation where I needed a bridesmaid dress altered ASAP. Jenny calmed my anxiety by reassuring me she could get it done for me and ready to pick up by the next day. They always have you try on the altered clothing before for your input & after the adjustment to make sure it fits accordingly. III. QUALITY Out of the two items they've altered, I couldn't even see where the new stitch work was made. I typically struggle with pants fitting my waist but the fit was perfect after Medlock Alterations did their changes to my slacks

My daughter needed to hem a chorus dress in time for a concert this week. I reached out via Yelp…read morefor options and discovered the kind ladies of Medlock Alterations. I got a fast response via message from them so I decided to give them a try. They told me to bring the right shoes so they could measure accurately. I wouldn't have thought of that! The location is easy to find right off 141 and parking is a breeze in front. They have good hours, open til 630 and even open on weekend. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and her mom- by name since I'd made a arranged time they were expecting us! There was a really nice arrangement of masks while we waited to browse. Some of these were made with beautiful fabrics for formal events and in all the colors you could dream of. My daughter put on the gown for measuring and she was made to feel comfortable (this was her very first experience at a tailor service.) she was complimented on her look as well. The dress was ready in a quick timeframe and absolutely on time for our event. My daughter was pleased with the result- and attention to detail. The hem looks extremely professional. I recommend this business and will be back soon with more alterations.

Had him hem a couple of shirts while I was there. Only one of them came out somewhat passable. One was left way too long in the back, when I SPECIFICALLY said I wanted it shorter and evened out. The other one was a beautiful vintage 1970s shirt that was just a little too long, and had a hole in it. This one was absolutely butchered. It's unwearable. I wanted to keep the hemline, just bring it up a bit, so I could wear it untucked. It's so short now, there's nothing I can do to it. The hole that I asked him to stitch up was just ran through the sewing machine like someone scribbling over a mistake. Would give zero if I could. The service is terrible. The two times I've gone in there, he seems like he's trying to rush you out as quickly as possible. Didn't take ANY effort to try and understand what I wanted, or even how to do his own job. I wasn't even measured. I will never go back and I hope he finds a trade he's better suited for. Fuck this place.

I just wore them around a couple of times and the heels he put on were of such poor quality that they were completely worn down. I tried to explain this, but he just kept saying I would have to pay for new heels. Terrible service, terrible workmanship, terrible materials. I'd stay far away from this place and go somewhere else, anywhere else...or just buy a new pair of shoes before you go to this guy. He's a complete joke.
