Going to Hanans for my alterations was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. To preface,…read moreI've had my dress for a couple of years and have lost a lot of weight since I originally purchased it. My dress is very intricate, it has 5 separate layers of fabric, beading, lace, appliqué, boning, you name it. I was incredibly nervous about finding a seamstress that would be able to make the needed alterations in 4 months, while keeping the integrity of the dress, and making sure it fit perfectly. I found Hanans through various reviews on Google, Yelp, and my favorite place to get the real reviews, Reddit. People love this woman. And I 1000% know why and couldn't agree more. I'd go to battle for this woman. I think I had around 11 appointments with her total? Which is absurd. She was able to work around my travel-heavy job, addressed every little concern or question I had, and gave me the most perfect dress that I could have ever hoped for. I could not be happier with the end result, we ended up going down quite a few sizes or so from the original and it still looks like the dress I bought, just one that's been custom fitted to me. She is well worth every single penny. GO TO HANANS.

This was the last shop I had gone to, hoping I'll find the right dress especially because they had so many pretty dresses, but they were not helpful at all. They kept bringing me dresses that were not what I asked, did not look good with my body type, and were way out of my budget. It was very obvious that they did not want to help me and kept looking at other brides in the shop. I don't recommend going here.

It made my whole experience such a great and memorable one. Aimee and her team picked out some dresses for me to try on and I was able to see which style of dress that I really like. I also appreciate Aimee's honest opinion when she see me on certain dress. That was also really helpful to me. The dresses ranged between $1,000 up to $7,000 so there are many options for you to pick from depending on your budget. I fell in love with two of the dresses there and now have a hard time picking it. Lots of beautiful dresses to choose from. Overall, I had such an amazing experience for my first bridal appointment and would recommend everyone to go there!

She sat down with my group, got to know me, asked about my fiancé, our wedding, and what I was looking for in a dress. It truly felt like she cared about finding the perfect dress for me. As the mother of the bride, I am so disappointed with this wedding shop. There were several issues…read morewith miscommunication and unfulfilled promises, leading to significant stress and dissatisfaction, especially so close to the wedding day. My daughter visited this shop accompanied by all the bridesmaids. They were met with kindness and were told that because they seemed so genuine and that my daughter is in the healthcare field that they would give her a good deal. We were initially promised a heavily discounted designer dress to fit within our budget, along with included alterations and a veil This was a significant factor in our decision to purchase from this shop. However, the poor follow-up communication and the surprise alteration fee of $750 during the final fitting were unexpected and unwelcome developments. The fact that all members of the bridal party heard the initial promises proves that there was a clear understanding of what was agreed upon, making the subsequent deviation from those agreements all the more frustrating. A receipt was given to my daughter but it was not itemized. She was told that an itemized receipt would be emailed to her. She never received this. My daughter tried multiple times to reach the shop to confirm a date for a final fitting. I was coming from out of town and needed to plan accordingly. She left multiple messages that were left unreturned. She finally was able to get through and get an "estimated date". When she tried to confirm this date as it grew closer, she received no response. I booked a flight and crossed my fingers. She did get her final fitting one week out from her wedding date. The dress was too small and needed alterations. These alterations were not included as was our initial understanding. We were then told that taxes would not be charged and the "rush fee" would be waived to help with the miscommunication. "Rush fee??? We had been trying for months to get this taken care of. Ultimately, the failure to uphold promises made and the additional financial burden placed on us at this crucial time in the wedding preparations is unacceptable. We feel completely scammed, deceived and disappointed by this experience, as it significantly impacted my daughter's special day and added unnecessary stress. My hope is that this review helps others avoid facing similar challenges.

Isabella listened to my concerns about pricing, and she was able to help us find the most gorgeous dress on sale. She also worked with us to make a few tweaks to the dress to make it completely perfect for me. I never really understood all the fuss about finding "the dress" until I tried on Isabella's gowns. Not once did I feel rushed or coerced into buying--unlike at some other retailers. Everyone was incredibly helpful and patient, and they made me feel comfortable and at ease. They also have fantastic accessories. I was practically able to complete my whole look in shop (besides shoes and undergarments). I truly cannot rave about them enough--both the bridal and alteration shop (Go2Bella). I cannot wait for my wedding day when I get to feel so much more stunning than I ever could have imagined--all thanks to Isabella and her amazing staff. I highly recommend going to her before "saying yes to the dress" somewhere else!

I went back to try on the dress we had seen. Vickie pulled that dress and 2 others which were not my taste at all. I started to walk around to see if there was anything I liked. I felt uncomfortable because it felt like I wasn't allowed to do that. Completely different experience than with my daughter. I tried 2 more dresses that I had picked and stuck with the first one. After I put my clothes back on - Vickie measures me over my clothes (summer cotton eyelet dress with a full skirt.). I was like ??? I felt rushed and like she couldn't be bothered. I was there maybe 45 minutes and it was a stressful appointment. She then goes to order my dress and there's an online/web fee plus a rush shipping fee. I said I don't need a rush, we are 5 months out and what's this web fee? I was told it was charged by the designer. She proceeded to tell me that they didn't stock my size, they only stocks to a 14 (my normal size) so it was a custom order (size 16). So I came home and thought about it and placed the order the next day. She came back and said oh delivery date just got pushed out 2 more days, you need to hurry and pay the rush fee. I ordered it and said I don't want rush shipping. Delivery date was almost a full 30 days before the wedding. Well the dress came in 3 days ahead of time - yay. I went and tried it on, it was huge. I was so upset as this was a $650 dress. I knew when I had left my appointment that I didn't feel right. I tried it on and Vickie proceeds to say - oh a smaller size wouldn't have fit you. I went to my alterations lady that I've used for 12 years. She said - you're swimming in this, are you sure they ordered the right size? You needed a size smaller (and no, I have not lost any weight) and I will take it in down to the waist in the bodice, further than that, I really can't because of the zipper. I was so upset and disheartened, she had to basically redo the entire bodice of the dress, re-bead the leaves because she had to take it all in in the front and back and the dress has boning, so it was quite the alteration. I knew it would be too long and that was fine. So on top of $650 plus tax and junk fees, alterations have run me $350 on top of the cost of the dress and this is my person. I had gone to another alterations place they had recommended who said off the cuff it would be over $400 If you go there - make sure you're properly measured!

What a disaster. Vickie wasted over 3 1/2 months of my life. She didn't put in the order for my…read moredress when I paid for it on February 15th. She also didn't take any measurements except my ribcage. So when the dress finally showed up on May 25th, it was way too big. When a representative from the manufacturer tells you to ask for your money back because you were sized wrong, you know there is a big problem. Bonnie gave me a list of seamstresses they recommend. I took the dress to one of them, and she was shocked that no measurements - bust, waist, hips - had been taken and that the dress was so big on me. I took the dress back to Treasures and Vickie and Bonnie immediately got defensive and blamed the seamstress and called her a liar and greedy. Instead of admitting they made a mistake and trying to rectify it, they made a bad situation worse. They lie and stonewall. They will not listen to the customer. They cut you off instead of hearing you out. Now, after planning way ahead, I'm now starting a new search for a dress with only 7 weeks until my daughter's wedding. Save yourself the frustration and heartache and go somewhere other than Treasures. Vickie spends a lot of time talking about people not being nice, but she and her daughters are the ones who are not nice. They are defensive and rude. They are terrible people. Vickie admitted she was stressed out by the house she is building, but she wouldn't admit her mistakes at her own business. When they threaten to "call the authorities" on a customer who has paid them over $1200 and has been more than patient waiting over three months for a dress, you know they regularly have problems with people. Not because of the people, but because of them. Because of how they react and how they treat people. They need to look at the common denominator. Who is the problem? They are. Instead of listening to the customer and trying to make it right, they threaten. So pathetic. They are in a business that deals with a major event in a person's life. But they are terrible at it. It's very sad and so disappointing that I trusted them. Please don't make the same mistake I did. I trusted them and I regret it.
