We purchased my daughter's wedding dress here. While we were there we found a dress we all like for me as the MOB. Bonnie was amazing with my daughter. I went back to try on the dress we had seen. Vickie pulled that dress and 2 others which were not my taste at all. I started to walk around to see if there was anything I liked. I felt uncomfortable because it felt like I wasn't allowed to do that. Completely different experience than with my daughter. I tried 2 more dresses that I had picked and stuck with the first one. After I put my clothes back on - Vickie measures me over my clothes (summer cotton eyelet dress with a full skirt.). I was like ??? I felt rushed and like she couldn't be bothered. I was there maybe 45 minutes and it was a stressful appointment. She then goes to order my dress and there's an online/web fee plus a rush shipping fee. I said I don't need a rush, we are 5 months out and what's this web fee? I was told it was charged by the designer. She proceeded to tell me that they didn't stock my size, they only stocks to a 14 (my normal size) so it was a custom order (size 16). So I came home and thought about it and placed the order the next day. She came back and said oh delivery date just got pushed out 2 more days, you need to hurry and pay the rush fee. I ordered it and said I don't want rush shipping. Delivery date was almost a full 30 days before the wedding. Well the dress came in 3 days ahead of time - yay. I went and tried it on, it was huge. I was so upset as this was a $650 dress. I knew when I had left my appointment that I didn't feel right. I tried it on and Vickie proceeds to say - oh a smaller size wouldn't have fit you. I went to my alterations lady that I've used for 12 years. She said - you're swimming in this, are you sure they ordered the right size? You needed a size smaller (and no, I have not lost any weight) and I will take it in down to the waist in the bodice, further than that, I really can't because of the zipper. I was so upset and disheartened, she had to basically redo the entire bodice of the dress, re-bead the leaves because she had to take it all in in the front and back and the dress has boning, so it was quite the alteration. I knew it would be too long and that was fine. So on top of $650 plus tax and junk fees, alterations have run me $350 on top of the cost of the dress and this is my person. I had gone to another alterations place they had recommended who said off the cuff it would be over $400 If you go there - make sure you're properly measured! read more

What a disaster. Vickie wasted over 3 1/2 months of my life. She didn't put in the order for my dress when I paid for it on February 15th. She also didn't take any measurements except my ribcage. So when the dress finally showed up on May 25th, it was way too big. When a representative from the manufacturer tells you to ask for your money back because you were sized wrong, you know there is a big problem. Bonnie gave me a list of seamstresses they recommend. I took the dress to one of them, and she was shocked that no measurements - bust, waist, hips - had been taken and that the dress was so big on me. I took the dress back to Treasures and Vickie and Bonnie immediately got defensive and blamed the seamstress and called her a liar and greedy. Instead of admitting they made a mistake and trying to rectify it, they made a bad situation worse. They lie and stonewall. They will not listen to the customer. They cut you off instead of hearing you out. Now, after planning way ahead, I'm now starting a new search for a dress with only 7 weeks until my daughter's wedding. Save yourself the frustration and heartache and go somewhere other than Treasures. Vickie spends a lot of time talking about people not being nice, but she and her daughters are the ones who are not nice. They are defensive and rude. They are terrible people. Vickie admitted she was stressed out by the house she is building, but she wouldn't admit her mistakes at her own business. When they threaten to "call the authorities" on a customer who has paid them over $1200 and has been more than patient waiting over three months for a dress, you know they regularly have problems with people. Not because of the people, but because of them. Because of how they react and how they treat people. They need to look at the common denominator. Who is the problem? They are. Instead of listening to the customer and trying to make it right, they threaten. So pathetic. They are in a business that deals with a major event in a person's life. But they are terrible at it. Made a last minute decision to make an appointment here. Walked in and immediately was nervous and not optimistic that I'd have success. I didn't think they had enough mother of bride dresses. I am shocked to read the negative reviews on here. It is by appointment only but Vickie spent almost 2 hours with me. She listened and helped me to find the perfect dress. There are many many customizations that can be done, which no other place had even mentioned to me. For MOB/MOG dresses, they have hundreds to look at and try on and each can be ordered in multiple different fabrics and colors. I am 5 foot so finding something for petite is very hard. Vickie knew which dress lines offer petite. She helped find a dress style that I liked, but it will be in a petite bodice, moved the v neck plunge up two inches, got rid of the slit in the front, added a bolero jacket for a more formal look during the ceremony, having it made it a different fabric (more of a semi shiny sateen look than flat crepe), added hand sewn swarvorski crystals along the front lace on the bodice, helped to select the perfect color based on my daughters vision board, and suggested colors for grooms mom/stepmom and the groomsmen. I had been looking for about 4 months and had already been to 4 other bridal shops and ordered and returned 6 dresses. Vickie was patient and so knowledgeable! For example, one of the dresses that I liked had a high low hem. She looked at the ceremony venue with 22, 3 foot long stairs, and said the guests would be turned around and be able to see the seams of the lining under the dress moving separately from the dress as I walked down the stairs and she thought that would be distracting and I would not be happy with that being all people could pay attention to. Another dress was beautiful and she said it doesn't move well and everyone who has tried it, found it difficult to wear. That type of actual knowledge is not available on line and not from many other shops! My daughter lives out of state so she got her dress there, but there were two brides there both of whom left with big smiles, as did their MOB, and purchasing the dress. Both of them liked a dress on a mannequin. There was no hesitation. The dress was off the mannequin in a second for them to try on. In the day and she of cookie cutter dresses that you can get on Amazon, I loved and truly appreciated Vickie taking the time to help create not just a dress but THE dress for me that perfectly aligns with my daughter's vision for her wedding. Be sure to leave enough time. Having a dress custom made to your exact needs takes 3-4M lead time and then will likely need hemmed. They don't do alterations there but have a list of people they know do excellent work. read more

The staff is incredibly sweet. The shop is so cute. I'd highly suggest not to do alterations here. When the dress came back I was upset it didn't fit my chest. I was told "it's not supposed to fit like a sports bra." My breast literally wouldn't stay in my dress when I tried to dance. I cried both when I picked up my dress and at my wedding. I got married last month, but I haven't forgotten about Treasures and how absolutely wonderful my experience here was. I had been to at least 5 other bridal salons before picking Treasures, and while the others were mostly great, Treasures had this really warm and inviting feel that I just didn't get at other salons. Every time I came in, I was greeted by name by either Lauren or Bonnie. Lauren helped me out initially with picking my dress, and Bonnie took over after to help with fittings and alterations. Both were SUPER sweet and a pleasure to work with. I felt like I was talking to friends the entire time. I also made some "weird" choices about my wedding (plain blue shoes, bridesman, coming to appointments alone, bringing my dad to some, buying all of my accessories off amazon), and I never felt judged or unwelcome. In fact, Bonnie and Lauren were always polite and even complimentary. I strongly disagree with anyone who feels that they are trying to just grab a profit from you. I, personally, NEVER felt even the slightest pressure into purchasing anything I did not love. Even when I didn't buy my bridesmaids dresses from Treasures, they did not treat me any differently. My previous review was based on my sisters' experience with Treasures (also a 5star). Now Treasures gets another 5 stars for my experience with them. This really is a family store and a family business. It's not some snotty designer in the sky (Bridals by *cough*!) or a team of pushy consultants (Wedding Ang*cough!) doing that thing where they tell you "you look fabulous" in everything and not listening to what you wanted. Treasures will help you find the perfect dress, the perfect veil, and work to get your alterations correct. Lauren and Bonnie (sisters) run a lot of the day to day - and along with their wonderful alterations guru Jenny (love so much) - they are really a dream team. I found the dress I wanted - on the rack - and it was a massive hit. They ordered the exact veil I wanted and my vision really came true. We're now 3 family members strong in using and loving Treasures and I'll send anyone over who will listen to my gush about how great they are. Had a terrible experience after driving an hour to look for MOB dresses I walked in to an empty store on a Tuesday and was told I needed an appt to flip through the rack of dresses and hust look. they informed me they were waiting on an appt who was running late. I said " I was here with my daughter last week,when she was looking for a bridal gown, and didn't want to take away from her appt. to browse". ( thank goodness she found nothing there, as we had a great experience down the road at Wedding Angels). The associate again told me I needed to leave and come back with an appt. I told her I'd just flip through quickly and leave as soon as their appt arrived but again she told me I could not do that. Then the owner came out and handed me a card to come back with an appt. It was unbelievable! the store is dark, they were in welcoming, not a great selection of bridal gowns and I'm amazed theyre still in business after treating customers like this. I'll never give them my $. Read the negative reviews, do yourself a favor and do t waste time here. not a good, happy place which is what you want when bridal shopping. read more

Prime location (Milton) for a poor excuse of a Formal Wear Salon. They require everything but your blood type to schedule an appointment, AND a $25.00 fee for a weekend appointment! I passed, and drove 30 minutes South to Bridals By Lori. Gorgeous Salon with professional staff and a tremendous selection. I ordered my dress, and tipped the consultant at Lori's that $25.00 that I refused to give Treasures! Let your money do the talking ladies. When you are treated poorly at one place, take that money and spend it elsewhere! read more

This place is a joke. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was a part of my cousins wedding in December and everything began smoothly but slowly went downhill. The biggest issue we encountered was with the brides mother. She purchased her dress, was fitted for alterations, etc. On wedding day, we noticed right after putting the dress on that it was twisting to the other side of her body. We took it off and then put back on. Afteer walking only 20ft or so it was twisting and moving again. We had to take her dress off and put back on AT LEAST 10 times on the wedding day. Guests and family members even noticed and asked if her dress was supposed to be that way. After the wedding day, we called Vickie to ask if we could come in to see if there was anything we could do about the dress twisting. She had us come in, try on the dress and have the seamstress, Van, look at it. After 3 more attempts to correct the dress ( taking out the lining, removing fabric), etc. the problem still was not corrected. Vickie insisted that it was the ' the way my aunt walked' and that there was nothing they could do anything further. Of course, as any customer would be, we were livid with her response. She was extremely defensive and offensive. She then tried to explain how the dress is not like a 'toaster' and that it doesn't have warranty, etc. and that it cannot be returned or refunded. We agreed on that we understood the policies , etc. but that at least she could do is give us another dress that was comparable. She insisted that she would not be giving us a refund or replace the dress. That we would have to purchase another one, even though this dress did not fit properly. After a much heated conversation, Vickie ordered us out of the store !!!! She was so rude she actually made my aunt cry. I have never in my life seen this type of customer service. After reading many of these reviews, apparently this is not the first time customers have experienced poor service with Vickie ( the owner). I have been in 6 weddings now and have been married myself, trust me when I say there are MUCH better places to get dresses from. I would never recommend this place to anyone. My wife and my aunt went back into this place to simply state their dissatisfaction with the way a dress fitted. The associate was super rude to them and actually stated to my aunt the dress fit that way "because of the way you walk". The owner actually made them leave the store. My aunt came back in to ask for the purchase details and the owner rudely said they would send it when they got around to it. The wedding dress for my aunt cost $600. I went to the store with every intention of purchasing my wedding dress, and even had called ahead and told them which dress it was. Upon walking in, I realized neither of the associates were wearing masks. I asked the associate who was dressing me (essentially 6 inches away from my face at most times) if it was possible for her to wear a mask, and she flat out said no and implied that we could leave if we wanted to. As an older bride, I chose to check this shop out. The receptionist was reasonably friendly and insisted I wait for Vickie to assist me. As there was a fitting in progress in the back, Vickie was less than enthusiast about showing me selections. The dresses she picked for me on the racks in the main area of the store were outdated and garish. The phone rang and she disappeared to the back. At this point the receptionist reappeared at her desk and offered to assist me. She chose the very same 4 dresses for me to consider. This experience leads me to think they choose items that are out of style and old on the rack to push to their new customers. Once Vickie reappeared, she insisted I must have an appointment to view dresses. If you annoy a woman at this stressful time in her life ( me) , do you honestly think she is going to make an appointment to come back? Save yourself the trouble. This was our 5th(?) stop on our quest to find my sister a wedding dress. The woman helping us was super nice and had good taste. The place was bright, and they have lot of prom-y dresses as well as some bridesmaids ones. We showed up an hour early for our appointment and they accommodated us. Wedding dress selection is very small and they don't let you look without an appointment. We came here because my sister likes Sophia Tolli and they carry a few of her gowns. Decor is noticeably IKEA, but still tastefully done. My first impression was that they needed an upgrade, and at the end of the appointment the woman told us that they were moving to a newer, bigger location soon and going to another place in the interim. Since they already have a nice staff, I think it could be a great shop when they move. read more

I LOVE the fact that Treasures is family owned and operated by a mother & her three daughters! My first experience at Treasures was in high school when I was in search of a prom dress. The sales associates were professional, friendly & extremely helpful in the dressing room! While they have a large selection of bridal gowns and mother of the wedding gowns, the selection of prom dresses was just as large. I was impressed with the reasonable prices and the number of different dresses to choose from (no duplicate dresses in the store). I ended up buying both my junior year & senior year prom dresses from Treasures and glad I did! When the day comes for marriage, I will be sure to return and shop on the other side of the store for myself & my bridesmaids! :) read more

I really wanted to support this business because it is a women-owned, local business. Had heard from multiple other people to avoid this store at this time as they are not following many COVID-19 precautions (such as not wearing masks or social distancing), but I called them to inquire about making an appointment anyway. When I asked the store's representative if their employees would wear masks around customers, the store representative's response was a sassy "NO ma'am!". Really caught me off guard given the current climate and increasing COVID-19 cases, I would have hoped they would be interested in protecting their community and the health of their guests. Fortunately, after calling around, there are many other locally owned salons that are implementing ways to keep their customers safe, which is important to me since several of my family members are high risk. I just came home from picking up my Mother Of the Groom Dress. I ordered the dress in May as the couple were here visiting in Georgia (wedding is in NY) and I wanted them to be a part of the experience. Vicky was amazing that day. BEST PLACE TO GET YOUR WEDDING DRESS! I had an emergency and had to find my wedding dress the DAY BEFORE my wedding...no joke. When we arrived in a panic and explained the situation they were so nice and helpful. The lady that helped me was so sweet and asked what I was looking for. Literally the very first dress I tried on fit me like a glove and it was absolutely perfect! It was the most gorgeous Maggie Sottero dress that I had been dreaming of...and it was on sale! I couldn't believe it! They called their go-to alterations business and right after buying the dress we went straight to alterations and it was ready at noon the next day...the ceremony started at 4pm! Don't be decived by the bad reviews! Just like any other bridal shop YOU NEED TO HAVE AN APPOINTMENT. That is a no-brainer, these women are just bitter they couldn't get away with breaking the rules! My experience at Treasures was amazing. They only schedule one bride at a time so the entire store is all yours for the appointment. Lauren was my consultant and she could not have been more helpful. She listened to what I wanted and made great suggestions, but she also gave me enough space to pick what I was gravitating toward on my own. When I found my dress, she didn't pressure me for a purchase, she let me stay in the gown, move around in it, talk with my mom, etc. until I was 100% comfortable to say 'yes!' This is a family owned business and they truly appreciate your business. About two weeks after purchase, I called again for an appointment simply to show my grandmother the dress. Lauren, again, was so excited to help me into my gown and show it off. She wasn't even making another sale but she was attentative, patient, and helpful. My mom decided to look around too and they were very helpful finding her a gown as well. I just recieved an email that my gown is shipping to the store on June 1st. I cannot WAIT to get to the store and try it back on. read more

Lauren was the BEST bridal stylist! When I came in, she knew exactly which dresses I had wanted to try on, and she continued to pull dresses that matched what I was looking for. She even found a few that pushed me out of my comfort zone, and one of those was my strongest contender. She was extremely personable, relating to me and my interests as well as my fiancés. We absolutely loved every second pulling dresses and trying them on. I was terrified of having to use expanders on the sample dresses, and Lauren made it feel like it was no big deal at all. She helped me put the dresses on and take them off, and she fluffed every train to show off each beautiful dress. While I ended up finding the one at another salon, I wish I could've bought a dress from her so that she could have my commission (I'm not sure if that's how bridal stylists are paid, but that is my assumption). Both my daughter and I had such positive experiences at Treasures. Everyone who works there is a true professional. Throughout our appointments I felt their main objective was to find each of us a dress that made us look good, while we felt good in it. Lauren worked tirelessly to find the perfect wedding gown for my daughter. After just a brief discussion she immediately figured out exactly what my daughter wanted and what would look fabulous on her. Although we were the last appointment of the day, we never felt rushed. My daughter was so happy with the whole experience. At a different appointment Vickie and Bonnie helped me find the perfect Mother-of-the-Bride dress. I was pleased at the variety of options that were available and the creative options proposed to adapt some of those options to make the dress more flattering. I absolutely *loved* my experience at Treasures. I haven't decided where I'm going to get my wedding dress yet, but there is a "finalist" that I will definitely go back to try. I made an appointment for Saturday afternoon, and my mother went with me. I was expecting it to be really busy since it was a Saturday, but when we walked in, I think there was only one other person in the store, and she was looking at bridesmaid dresses. My consultant, Lauren, could not have been nicer. She was very knowledgeable, relaxed, and seemed to "read" my dress interests very easily. In the bridal section, there is a curtain that they pull shut so that it's just *you* looking. My Mom and I had a wonderful time looking through the dresses and picking one out to try on. Also, while you have a set hour to look at dresses, there is no limit on the number of dresses you can try on as long as you don't run over (and for someone like me, who can make a judgment call in 2 seconds, that's awesome). Horrible. I ordered 8 bridesmaid dresses and 1 mother of the bride dress from Vicky and Bonnie. The mother of the bride dress was so ill-fitted even with alterations the dress was unwearable. A total waste of money. Another dress had to be purchased last minute from Nordstrom. The bridesmaid dresses were over a month late arriving and all but two bridesmaid dresses were completely the wrong size. 7 bridesmaids had to pay over $100 each in alterations due to incorrect sizes being ordered and the dresses being delivered so late. Bonnie and Vicky were never available to talk and I always got an answering machine, I would leave a message and get a return message saying everything was fine, but things were not fine. My bridal party and I were extremely stressed out about the dresses being so late and when they arrived they were all so large. I requested at least rush shipping on the dresses be paid by Treasures due to incorrect sizing and rush fees incurred due to the dresses being late but no ownership, understanding or help was extended. It was a horrible experience and I would hate for anyone else to be treated so neglectfully and be taken advantage of by this shop. read more

I am not pleased with this place at all. I came in with some family members and some of my bridesmaids to try on dresses a few weeks ago because I really liked some of the dresses that I had seen online. When I arrived with three members of my bridal party we were not greeted by either of the two women sitting in front and I had to walk up to the desk and clear my throat to let them know we were there and ready for our appointment. When they finally acknowledged us we were told very impolitely to wait for an assistant to look through the dresses. Once we were with the assistant things got a little bit better, but not much. Her attitude was nicer and she was helpful but we quickly realized that the dress selection was not what they had promised online. They had a very small selection of dresses that we could order to fit our needs and a bigger selection of outdated dresses that were being sold as is, keep in mind that all of these dresses looked like they were from the 80's and had all kinds of stains and rips in them. When we had been in the store for about 15 minutes the rest of my party showed up and once again, were not greeted in any way. I had to stop looking through dresses to go greet them myself only to find out that even though we were the ONLY PEOPLE there that I was only allowed to bring 3 people back with me at a time so we had to keep rotating my family and I had to walk back and forth to allow them to view me in the dresses. My sister, who is my matron of honor, couldn't come back to the viewing area AT ALL because she had her daughter with her and they told us in a very clipped and rude way that they don't allow children in the back! After everything was said and done, I only found one dress that I liked and it was the most expensive one they had in the place! Everything else I tried on was underwhelming and didn't look like anything that I had found on their website. As we were heading out, I asked if we could go look at some of the bridesmaid dresses while we were there and they insisted that I had to make a separate appointment to do so. I was so upset at this point that we just left. I would be giving this establishment 1 star, but the assistant that helped me try on dresses was so nice and helpful. I ended up going to a different shop to try on more dresses and was completely awestruck at the differences between the two places. Treasures really needs to update their collections, hire some friendly and competent staff and train them to work as a team. I have worked in retail for many years and If I had done some of the things these women had done or treated my clients the way that I was treated by this staff, I would have been fired. This was not the best first experience that I wanted when I envisioned trying on my wedding dress. I will not do any business with Treasures in the future and I highly recommend going elsewhere if you want a good deal and a beautiful dress. read more

They charged my account a much higher amount than that which was quoted and refused to refund the substantial charge despite the fact that I had been at the shop that same day (and the dress was not ordered). The customer service was horrendous and none of my fellow bridesmaids (who live in various locations throughout the U.S) were/are able to contact the salesperson handling the dress orders. I will never shop here again!!!! read more

The gowns are not custom made!! I was under the impression that they were when my consultant measured me and i paid 800 dollars for a gown. My gown came in 1 month late with several problems. Alterations are not included and would have cost me hundreds of dollars to fix. When I spoke to my consultant and the owner, her mother, they actually started screaming in the store and mocking my mother and I. I am genuinely unhappy with this gown and I can't believe they acted so unprofessional. They didn't offer to fix the problem what so ever. This place is unbelievable!!! read more
