This gym help me lose 20lbs in the first year and another 15 the next year. I gotten a lot stronger, faster, and healthier. I'm very thankful for Coach Jason, Seth, and Emily. What I really enjoy about this gym is the members are very encouraging. They push you to finish your work out, not give up, and continue to participated. This isn't the type of gym that's competitive but the one to push better health. I never heard of crossfit when I first walked in the gym Here's what stayed the same: It's still a bit pricey at $197 at a full membership. There is a slight discount for students and first responders. There are drop-in packages if you don't want to commit for a full month. I honestly did just crossfit and it was very effective. There is also a weightlifting class that just restarted. Please contact the gym if you haven't done crossfit before because there is a trial class. Here is what have changed: The gym added rowing and Brazilian JiuJitsu class for the evenings ( I think 6:30 and 7:30 respectively and on certain nights). Brazilian JiuJitsu is really fun. If you are looking for a new gym or just wanted to work out, I highly recommend this gym. I am a person that usually don't know what I am doing but all the coaches really help here.

When I started physical therapy at Girl Fit there were some figure skating moves I couldn't do because of the pain. 6 months later I could do all the moves without feeling any pain at all. Girl Fit starts off your sessions with manual therapy to loosen tight muscles that may be contributing to your injuries and then you move on to strength exercises. Every single PT knew enough about my sport (figure skating) to help figure out what exercises to give me and what to focus on the most. Highly recommend!

As someone who is an introvert and struggles with confidence (especially in the gym) the coaches go the extra mile to make me feel comfortable and prepared for each workout by providing modifications and words of encouragement! During COVID-19 I have had some of my biggest gains in virtual WODS with the chance to work on skills like pushups and double unders. While I am still transitioning back to the gym in person full time I have attended a few outdoor classes. CityLine continues to prioritize and maintain the health and safety of all their members while putting you through a hard workout and building community at the same time. I look forward to the at home WODS and going in to the gym every chance I get!

They will correct you if your form needs adjustments and will really encourage you throughout the class. I loved the culture where you have a circuit and if you finish earlier than your peers you cheer them on until they finish. I also want to give a special shout out to Coach Laurel who introduced me in the beginning of class to give me a warm welcome. She remembered that I was visiting from Long Beach and was here for the week in Boston and traveling to Vermont. I highly recommend to anyone who is interested in CrossFit. Last year I decided to start taking my health seriously and make working out an actual habit in my life. I was tired of hearing of all the nasty things that I was saying to myself about my body and fitness level. After a significant amount of prodding, I went with a friend of mine to a Top Performance Fitness Bootcamp. My first TPF bootcamp was HARD, really effin' hard! But I swear to all of you that I felt high as a kite on the endorphins that it kicked off for at least 24 hours afterwards. i'd be lying if I said that TPF bootcamps are a not a bitch, but they are the kind of bitch that you need in your life to get your ass in gear. I don't do get to do them three times a week like some of the other diehard bootcampers, but I try to keep it in my workout repertoire once a week. It helps to keep me motivated in my other workouts as well. I am proud to say that I now work out regularly, several times a week. I have dropped a solid chunk of weight and I am continuously getting stronger and more fit. I have never felt so good! And I really have to give a lot of credit to my participation in bootcamp. I have learned a great deal about fitness and proper form from Anthony, the trainer who runs TPF. Besides being a good egg and a sweet guy, Anthony is very knowledgeable in his field and is attentive to each of his clients. He doesn't yell at you like some crazy militant, but always makes sure that everyone is getting a good challenging workout. Bootcamp is never boring, I am challenged in a new way every single week. Plus, we have a pretty good time, there are always tunes and quite a few hearty laughs! I highly recommend it to anyone who really wants to make a change and vastly improve their level of fitness.

In contrast to the last review, I have never felt like anyone there didn't care about my comfort level. If I am not comfortable due to weather, they fix it as fast as possible (I think I've been hot once or twice this summer). But, I cannot imagine anyone I have met here telling me 'too bad' or 'work harder'.....never. Like I said, everyone is very nice and more importantly - they KNOW their stuff. I feel very confident that my questions are answered with alot of industry knowledge. Additionally, for me - when I was trying to pick a new place to go to, it was important to me that I work with someone that had personal experience in losing weight themselves, and that they weren't genetically gifted to be 100 lbs forever! (god bless you if you are) :) I get that with my trainer here, which is great. She understands the highs and lows I go through and we work through it. In short, I think Bodies Defined is a great place to work out and get motiviated. Great people and very reasonable rates for personal training. I do and have recommended it to family and friends - that says a lot!

I have been going to Millyard Strength and conditioning for 9 months and couldn't be happier…read more The trainers are great. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. All the members are very friendly and welcoming. The trainers have personally worked with me in both the group exercise classes and semi personal training sessions to make sure that I am doing my exercise correctly. They analyze and adjust my diet as needed to make sure that I am eating correctly to maintain my fitness routine and achieve my fitness goals. The facility is perfect. Large and open for group classes, great outdoor space for outdoor activities (weather permitting)and plenty of parking. I have gone to the $10 or $20 per month gyms, and you do not get the personal attention that you get here. At the other guns, no one is there to make sure that you are doing your workout and/or exercises correctly. No one is there to give you nutritional advice. They don't have the personal, community atmosphere that you get here in both the group classes and strength training sessions. I highly recommend Millyard Strength and conditioning. I have lost weight and have become stronger with the help of everyone at Millyard Strength and conditioning. I have never felt better than I do today. My only regret is that I didn't join them years ago.

She's gotten me hooked on feeling good, going the extra mile (or rep) and making time for myself. Her studio, her clients and the environment she's created are truly special and if you are on the fence about working out...I promise you won't be after finding success in her classes! She modifies all the work before you have a chance to wonder if you might need it and you'll always leave with a smile on your face-either because it's fun, or you've just kicked your tush in ways you didn't know you could. I've always struggled with my weight, and trying weight loss diet's like WW, calorie counting, etc. never worked. I would get really strict with myself, hate what I was doing, feel terrible when I failed and then indulge more in food. But Jan and Get Lively have completely changed the way I think about food, my body, and my habits. Her in-depth intake process, constant focus on her client, and ever-evolving and individualized approached helped me to examine my deeply ingrained feelings around food and start to work on creating a healthier mindset and lifestyle. Her system is not a get fit fast approach, its a calculated and individualized approach that helps you to look inward and find the root causes that are holding you back from where you want to be and then a tailored approach of how to improve!
