The instructors here are top-notch--in one-on-one sessions, they identified where my body was weaker or less flexible, how it compensated for those weaknesses, and then would tailor the exercises to strengthening those areas and building healthier muscle memories. They are also very good at explaining it in layman's terms so you get a much stronger understanding of how your body all works. Within just a couple months of weekly sessions with Kim, my pain was gone and has not returned since! The classes here are also great! It is impressive how much individual attention you get here, even in larger group settings. Additionally, the community here is a lovely group of individuals to work out alongside. The more pilates-focused classes are especially great. They are very effective at building strength and flexibility without leaving you with painful whole-body soreness the next day--instead your body just feels !

I am in my 60's and her work has helped me to maintain my back as pain free, improved my balance, and most importantly my attitude towards exercise. I can do so much more in my life now that I am flexible, strong and aligned. I always await my next session to see what else Jeri is going to introduce. I like that it's never the same and always a challenge in my reach.

I would highly recommend Jeri for either semi private or private lessons, both of which she offers in her home based studio. Taking lessons with Jeri provides the student with individual corrections in technique which you don't get in group mat classes. Jeri offers lessons using reformer equipment and mats and always provides variety.

The owner, Alison, and the rest of the staff at Signature Fitness have made it possible for me to not only GO to the gym; but actually ENJOY it! Because this gym operates on a daily schedule packed with classes, you avoid the awful "walking into a packed, open gym and having no idea where to begin" experience. You go to a class and are lead through the exercises with a knowledgeable, friendly instructor. They make each class personal for you and offer modifications. Each class is different, too, so it never gets monotonous. There are class times from the wee hours of the morning to after the kids are in bed, so it's easy to work around any type of schedule. I especially love the Bootcamp and yoga classes. The facility is very clean and is fully stocked with professional equipment to suit all your fitness needs. They also have open gym times and a kid-friendly waiting room with a TV so I can bring my child when I need to. I can't say enough positive things about this gym. It's really the best around. I first got into pilates 3 years ago because of the recommendation from my spine surgeon. After 3 years of practice, I am the strongest I have ever been in my life before. (Fun fact: It has even made me a better swimmer!) Live Long Pilates helped me stay physically strong and mentally balanced all throughout my pregnancy (up through 39 weeks!). People would ask me how I was feeling, how I was managing with my back problems - and I would reply that I felt lucky that things were going so well.
