Made an appt. came in and they found a small nail and repaired it in 15 minutes while I waited. cost was very reasonable. I would suggest making an appt by phone as I don't think this is the kind of place you can just pull in. Very professional and no B.S. Would definitely recommend. read more

We've been going to Ardsley Tire on and off since we moved to Ardsley - both under previous ownership and current. Now we exclusively go there for anything from the regular oil changes and tire rotation to new brakes and tires. These guys are great - totally trust them with our cars and to give us an honest assessment of what we need to do now, whats optional maintenance, and what can wait. Having gone to quite a few quick oil change places and local garages, I'm glad that I have 1 place I know I can count on. And they're also just nice guys so give 'em a try. read more

Let me throw another five-star review on the pile for this really fantastic business. My wife took in a punctured tire expecting to have to make a replacement. They were able to fix the tire, and rotate the others to extend their lives. They did this quickly, and at a fraction of the price that it cost at other major chains. The owner was also very nice. I love this MOM and POP tire service. There not only so fair and kind which I knew from day one. This is the third time I go. This time I went I had an Ignition Interlock Device aka I had a DWI and now every-hates you. I've been places auto mechanics where they have called me alcoholic and look down at me. Not here. So empathetic. The reception refused to say anything in front of other clients in regards to the device. The owner watched me blow and just said fatherly u learned ur lesson? It's a pain right? Extremely disappointed. Brought in tire with slow leak. Found one nail and said fixed. Unfortunately, tire continued to leak the following day - had to bring back in to address nail left in tire - charged double to address the preexisting issue which was very surprising given owners generally excellent customer service focus. read more

His glowing recommendation was spot on. Service was quick and easy, price was what I expected, and there was no beating around about what other things were wrong with my car. Came here for an oil change and not only did they charge me fairly, but were super fast and overly concerned that they left a barely noticeable dot on my car seat. They scrubbed it with everything under the sun and made it disappear. Once I saw the spot they were talking about, I realized it was one that was there beforehand. In brief... Honest, quick, straight-to-the-point, get-your-car-in-and-fixed service. The longer story... pulled off the Thruway with a terrible noise coming from under the vehicle - on a Saturday around noon, no less. Had visions of ordering parts, getting picked-up by family (upstate NY) and dropped back off in a few days with a huge repair bill. Instead, Nick (now remember, I am completely at his mercy, he could have told me anything) saw a piece of sheet metal loose, rubbing on the drive shaft. He got me into the shop, threw in a few rivets, pinned the sheet metal back into place, and had me back on the road in less than a half hour. And charged me ten dollars. TEN DOLLARS. In 2019. I completed my trip to Long Island, and made it back home the same day. Nothing short of either a miracle or the best luck in the world. Thanks Nick. read more

Nick Morano (and staff) of Ardsley Tire may be the last honest mechanic on earth! He is my go-to for any issues with my car. When you bring your car to a typical mechanic, the typical mechanic will always come back and tell you there are 5 more problems you need to fix with an outrageous estimate; NOT Nick! I can't tell you how many times he has performed quick fixes, sometimes even while you wait, and only charged me a nominal fee. When the repair is more serious and the car has to be left with him, he has always fixed the problem and given me a more than fair price. I've used Ardsley Tire before for changing tires, oil changes, tire rotations, new wipers, etc. always great. But today I was on the way to the pediatrician with my sick son and I got a notification that I had low tire pressure in one of my tires. It's freezing out and while I might have been able to figure out how to put air in my tires at a gas station, I thought maybe I had a nail in the tire and didn't have time to figure it out. I pulled into Ardsley Tire and they pulled me in immediately, checked all my tires, put air in, and didn't charge me. We made it to our appointment on time and I could not be more grateful for their help today! Best service! Thank you! read more

July 2017. Tire slowly losing air for a year. Didn't want new tires yet. Went to a Sunoco in S. Ardsley, asked about a repair. He was too busy to help, but said he himself had used Ardsley Tire for tire repairs. So I ended up there. Nick the owner, has been in tire business for 38 years. Seems to treat his workers well. He fixed my tire w/ a plug, 10 minutes, no sales pitches, $15. True, next day I noticed same tire losing air, so I went back, this time they found a pinhole leak without a cause, and they plugged that too, no charge. They also do Inspections. Best sense of Nick, he's a straight shooter, and an honest businessman. PS- The only reason I rate 4 and not 5 Stars, is because I want to see how my car inspections go next fall using Ardsley Tire: there's such a significant conflict of interest when Inspection Stations also make "necessary" repairs involving "safety" issues. One Station could say you "need" brakes, $500 job. Another Station looking at the same brakes, could say they're good for at least another 10,000 miles. read more

My husband & I were traveling home to PA from spending Memorial Day weekend on LI with our kids & we decided to take the Tappen Zee bridge, well our car broke down 2 miles before the Ardsley Ave exit. I looked up a nearby garage found this one so we limped off the exit to the garage. When we got there I went into the office & spoke to Nick & Beth & explained that our fan belt broke while driving on the highway & they told us not to worry they would take care of us.
