If you buy garage doors at Home Depot this is their contractor…read more They came and did a site survey. Then came back to install the door. Once the doors were in the installer had to leave to go to another job without hooking up my garage door openers. There was a break in one of the wires for the sensors I pointed out to him but he ignored me. He said someone would call me to have another installer come out to finish the job. 2 days later when nobody called me, I called them. The lady that answered the phone put me on hold and came back and said my garage door openers were too old and they won't do it. My garage door openers are 2 years old. Never during the site survey or the install did anyone say they were too old. When I explained this the woman on the phone said someone would be in touch with me and that Home Depot would have to issue a refund for that part of the install. This was news to Home Depot when I called them to inquire as the job was never completed in their system. Needless to say this company is trash. As an aside it took me about 30 minutes on a Saturday to finish the job myself.

I told her, that I sent in pictures already, which she said she never got. At this point the conversation got heated, and she got really rude to me. I didn't hold back. They are the worst company I had ever dealt with. Stay away from them.

Leo came to my home to replace my garage door opener after my existing unit stopped working…read more Initially, I expected to replace only a part of the motor, but he recommended installing a new Chamberlain opener instead. He was knowledgeable, answered all of my questions, and completed the installation quickly and professionally. The new opener works well, and I am satisfied with the quality of the installation. My concern is with the pricing. Leo told me the Chamberlain opener normally costs $1,200 but offered me an immediate "zip code discount," reducing the price to $950, including installation. Because I needed my garage repaired promptly, I trusted his explanation and did not verify the pricing at the time. After the installation, I researched the product and found that the same Chamberlain opener typically sells for $300-$400, and that professional installation in Maryland generally brings the total cost to significantly less than what I paid. In addition, when I was ready to pay the agreed-upon $950, I was told that sales tax was not included, and I was asked for an additional $50, bringing my total payment to $1,000 in cash. I received a receipt, but the old opener was left in my yard for me to dispose of. Overall, I am pleased with the workmanship and the performance of the new garage door opener. However, I was disappointed by what I believe was a lack of transparency regarding the product's value and the overall pricing. Had I known the typical retail and installation costs beforehand, I would have made a more informed decision, or at least waited for the other guy who arrived too late.

Complaint Against Bulls Garage Doors I am filing this…read morecomplaint because I believe I was significantly overcharged for a garage door repair and have been unable to obtain warranty service or any response from the company. Less than six months ago, Bulls Garage Doors replaced the two torsion springs on my two-car garage door and charged me $900 for the repair. Recently, both springs failed. Since the repair was completed less than six months ago, I attempted to contact the company multiple times to have the issue addressed. Unfortunately, I have been unable to reach anyone. Their voicemail mailbox is full, preventing me from leaving a message. I have also sent text messages to both of the company's phone numbers, but they have not responded. After being unable to get assistance, I contacted another reputable garage door company. They informed me that replacing two springs on a standard two-car garage door is typically a $300 repair, making the $900 I was charged appear excessive. I believe I was unfairly overcharged, and the company's complete lack of communication after the repair has left me with no choice but to seek assistance through the Better Business Bureau.
