I'm super grateful to have found Luis Flores and his crew! We had a small palm tree and crepe myrtle in front of our house that I wanted removed. I reached out to a couple of other vendors via email. One misinterpreted my request completely and quoted me for two palms (I only have one). The other decided to ghost me when I asked to confirm their license number before giving them my address. Both overquoted me. I found Luis on Yelp and third time was the charm. The website was well-maintained and their license number was active so I decided to fill-out the form and hope I got a response. A few hours later, I got a text from Luis to schedule a time to come by for a free estimate. He was so professional, advised me of potential damage to our sprinkler system, and quoted me a super reasonable price for the tree removal and stump grinding - actually several hundred dollars less than the previous quotes I got. We have a large Red Oak. We get it trimmed every few years because it keeps growing and then mistletoe will get caught in some of the branches as well. Quote was fast (all tree trimming companies I have worked with have been fast) and friendly. Flores Tree did the best job so far on the Red Oak that I have seen. A crew of four were efficient and knowledgeable. Chainsaws, ropes, wood chipper, clean up. I asked about a couple branches to be removed, what they recommended was for the two branches to be kept, but trimmed down. Maintain the shape. Great advice. We needed a palm tree taken down that was shading part of our solar panels. Luis was the only guy to both come visit our property and provide a written quote, which was very competitive. On the day of the job, his crew came out and took down our palm tree very precisely - no damage to fence or other nearby objects. Before deciding on going with Flores I contacted multiple other highly rated companies. Flores was the only one that offered to be right out for an estimate, walked my property, and gave me a firm price right on the spot. Meanwhile, the other companies messaged me with all their stipulations, can't do a palm if the boom truck can't get to it, can't this, can't that. I went with Flores and had no regrets. They communicated with me effectively using text messages up until the time they arrived to do the work, and once they arrived got busy and got the job done rapidly. I especially liked the skill of the trimmer. He pulled himself into my never trimmed before live oak and shaped it beautifully. It looked like a giant broccoli when he started and when he finished it looked like a giant bonsai. The same with my overgrown olive tree. The stump removal ( 9 stumps) part of the job went fantasticly. They even did one that others would never have done, on a fence line and up a hill. I got a call not long after from Luis and we scheduled a time to meet and go over what needed to be done. I was impressed as he was naming each plant, tree, and shrub as we walked through because honestly I have absolutely no idea what anything is or how to care for it which was probably obvious to him, lol. He gave me a quote and was he was able to break down the estimate per section of the property so I could decide to do parts or all which I also appreciated. Part of my dilemma was trimming my neighbors trees down the fence line and not really wanting to pay for it which I did end up doing and I have zero regrets as it needed to be done, so the breakdown of the estimate was nice. I needed an Ash tree in my front yard thinned out and trimmed up. It has been four to five years since it has been trimmed. I reached out to six tree service companies on Yelp. All returned my call within the day, four of the six came the next day to take a look at what I needed done, and to give me a quote. Flores Tree service was one of the four that gave me a quote. They were on time, friendly, and kept me updated on the appointment. They gave a fair quote, explained what I should, and shouldn't do with the tree. My wife and I reviewed the quotes, and decided to go with Flores. They were not the most expensive, or the cheapest, but I had a good feeling with them. I called them back, and they put me on their schedule for the following Monday. They showed up right on time, let me know they were here, and confirmed what I wanted to be done with the tree. They went right to work, two guys climbed up into the tree, and a third stayed on the ground and gathered up the limbs and wood that was cut from the tree. It took about an hour for them to complete the work on the tree. After, the raked my yard, ran all of the cut pieced through their chipper, blew the driveway, and the street. I think the yard was cleaner after they were done, than before. A total of about an hour and a half, and they were gone. The tree looks great (see the before and after photos), and good for another 4-5 years. I will be calling Flores tree service back this winter to service all of the trees in my back yard! I'm very pleased once again. I had a new roof being put up and my trees were hanging over the driveway and the very large trucks were unable to get up the driveway without damage to the tees. I found out two days before they were to come. Luis called and came over to give me an estimate and actually called his crew and they trimmed the trees back the same day!
