i went to concentra for a pre employment drug test yesterday. i got in right around 4:27. by the…read moretime they were ready to check me in, they said they weren't taking anymore patients for the day & the last one taken is gonna be at 4:30. i checked my phone after the front desk lady said that & it was 4:30 exactly. she said come back tmrw at 4. i got frustrated especially because i have work so it's hard to go after work without there being a time crunch & i made it before they closed. i asked if i could just do the test really quick, she said "no, the techs will be leaving in a couple minutes." it didn't make sense considering the fact that it was only 4:30 & they close at 5. why are all the techs leaving so early?? today, i went again & my experience was a little better. they were pretty packed inside & this time i went with my boyfriend so he can help me navigate through the situation if they try to push me away again. we went to the front & i told them i was there for a drug screening. they said "unfortunately our system is down & we are short staffed so we're not doing anymore drug screenings today. come back again tmrw at 3:30" he mentioned that yesterday they said come back before 4. already it felt unprofessional that they were giving us different times everytime. with a room full of people, my boyfriend said "can't we get seen like the rest of these people?" & she said "yes but it'll probably be a wait, probably around 5:30" we said that was fine & waited. as far as the wait, it was quite a while but i'm glad i got seen. i'm not sure if it's the front desk ladies or the higher ups that make things so complicated & give different times to patients/people who need to be seen. i did get my test done. they still thankfully took me even though they were closed. aside from them trying to turn me away again & giving me a different time to come (more so the front desk ladies), the techs were really nice. everything was quick & fast as far as the screening process. i definitely wouldn't recommend this spot if you're looking for any care though. they all seem like they're rushing to get out by 5 which is frustrating because the healthcare field shouldn't be like that & the doctors/care providers should definitely leave it up to patients to choose whether they want to wait a while or go find care elsewhere.

The provider handling my case, a PA, demonstrated a shocking level of incompetence and indifference. It honestly felt like I was just a box to check off rather than a patient. My concerns were clearly not taken seriously, and there was zero effort to communicate or provide any kind of thoughtful care. What's most concerning is that someone who has supposedly spent years in medical training could deliver such careless and mediocre treatment. If this is the standard of care here, that says a lot about the company as a whole and none of it is good. This office feels disorganized, unprofessional, and completely disconnected from the well-being of the people they're supposed to help. Patients deserve transparency, respect, and basic competence, none of which I experienced. Avoid this place if you have any other option. Your health and safety deserve far better than what this office provides.

He misdiagnosed my injury and only corrected his diagnosis during my second visit. He isn't a doctor or a PA. The office staff are all super friendly but often times are more focused on their internal socializing than patient care. Same thing with their PT department, but they do seem to care about your progress / getting better. I didn't have a choice in going here due to the worker's comp.

The (asian female) doc we met with was quick and professional, a prescription written and we left. This was when things went steeply down hill. We drove over to where they had allegedly called in meds (CVS on Dewey) and the clerk said there were no meds in the system that were sent over. I called Urgent Care back and they said they would resend. We waited and still nothing. There was another family who had left the clinic before we did and they were standing around as well. We left that night with no meds. We already spent so much time waiting at the clinic before hand.. spending another hour at the pharmacy waiting to see if this thing would go through about did us in so we tabled it for the following day. Do I recommend this clinic? Sure. In a pinch, we may even find ourselves there again. Plus, these issues may have not been common? Hard to say. Gotta comb through the other reviews. I was able to get the issue resolved, but certainly not with Concentra. In fact, Concentra only made my arm hurt more, because they kept putting me through physical therapy. My arm did not need to move more weight. I was already moving a lot of weight at my old job. It was seen as so unnecessary, that even their other physical therapists were confused as to why I kept being sent over to them. The service is bad, and doctors and nurses also have bad customer service. This is the only place a doctor and nurse have ever argued with me, and over something I was right about the whole time. I 100% would not recommend this place and never want to be seen here again!
