The lady behind the desk was really nice and told me that insurance usually covers rock chip repairs. She got my insurance on the phone for me, and she was right. Free repair, bonus! They also got the repair done in no time! I told them I had tried to 'yelp' auto glass in Arvada and they didn't come up. John (A managing partner) was also behind the desk and asked me about yelp, so I told him. He was intrigued and thanked me for the info, asked if I had a deductible, he wanted to discount it for me, but I didn't so he said that he would give me a deal the next time I need a windshield! Today mine looks exactly the same as I dropped it off, the size of a quarter starburst on my passenger side. I took it to another lifelite the gentleman in there said "personally they could have done better". I called customer service talked to them they switched me over to the manager at the shop I took my vehicle to, she told me the guy who did my repair may have not gotten all the water out of the chip before he filled it, it's raining today, I asked why didn't you reschedule me to a dryer day? Or use a dryer? The manager didn't give me a clear answer. My only option at this point is to live with it or replace my windshield. I told her she turned a $100 job into an $800 dollar job and she is the reason our insurance prices keep going up. I called my insurance, liberty, I asked about taking it to a Toyota dealer and having them replace my windshield he told me if Toyota doesn't see it as a safety issue I'll have to pay for it.
