She made the whole visit feel welcoming and relaxed. We ordered specialty cocktails and a Pinot Grigio, and everything was perfectly mixed and served cold (thankfully -- nothing worse than warm wine). The bar area was clean, comfortable, and had big TVs that kept us entertained. The food was even better than expected. The fried chicken was amazing, and the Rosemary tater tots with cheese‑bacon sauce were absolutely delicious. We finished with the deep‑fried peach pie topped with homemade vanilla ice cream and a honey glaze -- unreal. A perfect airport treat. I can't wait to come back and try another dish. Highly recommend stopping here if you're in Terminal D.

My waitress was incredibly attentive without being overbearing. She gave me plenty of time to look over the menu, and when I was ready, she was helpful in recommending a dish. I ordered the fried chicken plate with yams and mac and cheese, and everything came out quickly, fresh, and hot. The fried chicken was some of the best I've had in a while! I ordered the dark meat with two thighs, and they were flavorful, crispy, and cooked perfectly. The yams and mac and cheese were delicious as well. And when I bit into the cornbread muffin to my surprise, it almost tasted like cake. What really stood out to me was how accommodating everyone was. After I finished my meal, I asked if I could charge my phone, and they allowed me to move to another spot in the restaurant so I could charge it. That small gesture meant a lot and really added to an already great experience. I will be returning next time I'm in ATL!

I've previously visited their Midtown location, and I'm happy to say they deliver the same quality food and service. We started with the Sammen Balls, and they were excellent--very flavorful, well-seasoned, and a great way to begin the meal. My daughter ordered the Bussin Corn Muffins, which were also very good and full of flavor. For the main course, we shared the seafood basket. The crab cake was decent, although I've had better, and the rice was a little watery. However, the dish was still seasoned well overall and enjoyable. My daughter ordered the Afta Church Plate, which came with four fried chicken wings and macaroni and cheese. She really enjoyed the wings, and the macaroni and cheese was one of the highlights of the meal. The customer service was outstanding. Our hostess, Nena, was incredibly sweet, attentive, and welcoming. Her service helped make the entire experience even better. The restaurant is located in a historic district of College Park, which adds to the atmosphere, with several restaurants nearby. Parking was also convenient, with free parking available outside. They do not offer a military discount, but the quality of the food, atmosphere, and service made for a great overall experience.

GROSS! lol. I was so yucked out in disbelief that i stared at him before speaking hoping he would gather himself together , but NOPE! he just kept talking, partly holding his hand over his mouth. i ordered, he prepared my food after washing his hands, but i had to question how would my food be prepared if i am not present!?? Would he chew food over the stove whilst preparing my YAMS? ha! i would eat here , but i would do Bar seating to watch the kitchen, because NO! Food was good tho
