    Big Breakfast

This is truly a hidden gem that I hope more people find out about. Ms. Lo was our waitress and she was truly the mother I didn't know I needed. She was super sweet and attentive and wanted to ensure we enjoyed our food. I enjoy a waitress that is patience and explained all the dishes in detail. Now to the food! Let's just stay we left STUFFED because the food was too good and we didn't want to leave any behind! The portion sizes were just right! True southern food with amazing seasoning. I promised I tried to get the recipe for the mixed greens on my way out . We tried the seafood beggars to start filled with crab & shrimp that was super fresh and flavorful. 3 was just enough to prepare us for the main dish. The big breakfast was big and came with a drink!! Most places don't serve drinks without an additional charge but this homemade drink was the perfect addition I needed. The sides were seasoned perfectly with a creole touch, not spicy at all. The shrimp and grits were very light but rich. Usually with grits, they are typically grainy but this wasn't the case. I can't wait to come back and eat the food!

Family run. Amazing food. Very clean. Super welcoming. He had the chicken gravy and biscuits and it was the best tasting gravy we have both ever had. I had eggs, sausage and grits and the grits were perfectly seasoned and cooked. Huband and wife greeted us warmly and daughter serving us was lovely.

The Big Breakfast was amazing! The pancakes were huge, and everything was fresh and flavorful. The pepper jack grits completely changed my mind about grits easily one of the best breakfast plates I've had in Atlanta. Service from Ms. Lo was great, she was fast paced but still took her time to attend to us which was great- and although the food took a little while, it was hot and well worth the wait. We'll definitely be back!

I called in my order at 8:18 a.m. I was told it's a 20 min wait for chicken waffles and a fruit bowl. It's currently 8:50 my food just arrived. I'm also the only customer in here. Food arrived looking and smelling great, not sure if I'll return because of the long wait.

So to bring in the New Year my husband and I decided to take a friend's recommendation and head to SFB for brunch. It was a group of four of us and the restaurant was practically empty. Upon arriving the hostess/ waiter mentioned she could not seat us until our party arrived. Our party was literally in the car. Customer service was not great to say the least. Food wasn't bad. Ambience: it's a very small restaurant. We saw most people ordering take out. Not really "that restaurant" that you would typically sit down and dine in. We waited at least 45 mins for our food. I ordered catfish over grits with a side of potatoes, my husband ordered the peach cobbler specialty chicken and waffles. The couple with us ordered sweet potato waffle and the Vegan Big Breakfast. I also ordered a peach Palmer to drink which was good. Let me say: the collard green egg rolls were not as good as the comments raves about. My husband enjoyed his peach waffle but his chicken under seasoned, I enjoyed the catfish and grits and the other couple enjoyed their food. Probably wouldn't go back but it wasn't bad.

Can I just say I just want to come back here soon! They were rocking a playlist seems like from my own Spotify list, clean and cute restaurant. Our server was so friendly and polite. The chicken was perfectly fried and juicy, and the eggs were perfectly moist just how I like my scrambled eggs. The pepperjack grits were some of the best I've had, and the pork sausage had the perfect consistency (not dry). I saved my waffle for last which I regret, and it was delicious! The fruity pebbles were not stale and if I didn't eat everything else, I surely would have finished this. It felt so welcoming here and I can tell it's a family-operated type of business - they really cared about the customer experience. Thank you SFB team!

Large portions, service was very attentive as well. Super cute hole in the wall restaurant in Clayton County area. There is a parking lot that is a plus. I ordered breakfast with friends. The pancakes is where I took a star. The pancakes just did not taste fresh for me and the cook either did not know how to cook turkey bacon or didn't cook it. I would however, try this restaurant again. I would just try something different on the menu.

NOTE if you go during brunch and you get a cocktail from the menu you won't see the prices for brunch. That is part of the reason for the low rating. Even though the drink menu says the days and hours for those prices, you have to ask for the after those hours. The menu has your typical southern brunch flare with a twist. The drink menu is good. I ordered the impossible burger slider, it doesn't come with anything. Just two sliders. I ordered the potatoes. Even though the sliders were decent. It was a little salty. Presentation was good. Watermelon savage. I also tried the scrambled eggs - way too salty. It was inedible. My brunch partner didn't like the grits or chicken biscuit that it came with. Service was fine. For the most part, people seemed to enjoy it so I was convinced I should check it out. The restaurant is located inside of the Hilton airport Hotel. There is a secure parking lot that requires you to pull a ticket when you enter. The restaurant will validate the parking ticket for you ! When I walked in I was greeted by a staff member and seated immediately. Shortly after I was seated my wait staff came over and introduced herself. She took my drink order and said she would allow me time to look over the menu. I asked my wait staff her thoughts on the Mac and cheese. I am picky about eating Mac and cheese from places. Most don't know how to make real Mac & cheese ( if you know what I mean)! She told me it was pretty solid. - As such I ordered the following: Crab bisque Smoked chicken wing plate served with two sides: Mac & cheeses and asparagus were my picks! The crab bisque did take a long time to come out. It was so delayed that my main course came out shortly after the soup. It was not ideal, but I made it work! The crab bisque was solid. I would order it again. The wing plate also exceeded my expectations! I was impressed with the mac and cheese. The asparagus were large, which was concerning to me! Like how did they get so big? Steroids? Nonetheless, they were cooked to perfection! I did get the banana pudding to go- this was the only item I would not order again! It was basic and I only took a few bites and ended up trashing it . Overall I would reconned this spot! Service was spot on- and for a hotel restaurant the food is pretty good!
