For nearly a decade, I've curiously passed Ludacris' Chicken and Beer restaurant during my layover at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in ATL on my way to Louisiana. During my most recent trip, I finally tried them out for lunch and im so glad i did. - the fried chicken plate tasted like southern hospitality. Im still thinking about how massive the crispy wings were ( almost the size of my hand) topped with their sweet spicy hotlanta sauce. - their creamy mac and cheese reminded me of my grandma's - The collards were well seasoned to perfection and cooked with smoked (possibly bourbon glazed) ham. - This was definitely a shareable plate but you're not going to want to. I highly recommend checking out Ludacris' Chicken and Beer next time you're flying to Atlanta

Surprisingly amazing find in Atlantas airport (terminal D). everything was so delicious. I had the chicken dinner with a side of rosemary tots and sweet potatoes. The chicken was super crispy and flavorful without being greasy at all. The service was also super fast and friendly. This place was located near the end of one side of terminal D so it wasn't as packed as the other restaurants closer to the train which made it an even better experience. They also played really great music. Ludacris also made an appearance (well at least a giant poster of him did). if you're in Atlanta airport, I would definitely put this on your list of restaurants to try, much better than all the other stuff jammed into that tiny food court at the head of all the terminals in Atlanta airport.

Tucked into the back of terminal D, everyone was working hard. We were sat immediately and our server came over shortly. I started with the Blueberry Yum Yum drink with a blueberry infused tequila and it was goooooooood!!! My hubby got the fried chicken plate and I got the fried chicken sandwich. They were out of Mac and cheese which made us really sad, but we got loaded tots instead. Prices are high but that's airport normalcy unfortunately. It was a vibe!

I deeply enjoyed my first experience at Ludacris' Chicken and Beer in the Atlanta Airport. I stopped in here just before my flight out to Orlando with my homegirl for lunch, and we both really liked the food we ordered. The staff was kind and attentive. Service was quick, even though it was a little on the busier side. The overall vibe was chill but lively. The pricing was reasonable - on par for what you'd pay for airport cuisine, which tends to be a little on the over-priced side anyhow. However, the overall quality of the food did not disappoint (to my friend and me). I ordered the chicken salad wrap with a glass of champagne, and wow, oh WOW! The presentation of the wrap was very nice, but more importantly, the TASTE of the wrap was DELISH! I ate the entire thing and was left quite satisfied. The champagne was nice as well, but it was not the star of the show. So, special shout-out to the hands that prepared that chicken salad wrap that day. After paying our tab, we finished our drinks, and our gate was right next to the restaurant, so we finished just in time to board our flight back home. For my first experience, I'd give this an A. I'll definitely visit again should I be in Concourse D and flying in/out of Atlanta.

If you're looking for some home-cooked fried chicken while waiting for your flight, look no further. Everything is homemade here. The waffles were fluffy and fresh. And the staff is very attentive. It gets a little loud when there are groups, but other than that, all good. Probably one of your best bets here.

Chicken + Beer absolutely lived up to the hype. The food was flavorful, fresh, and seasoned well. The beer selection was expansive, and the atmosphere felt welcoming and energetic without being overwhelming. Definitely worth a visit when passing through Atlanta.

I'm a huge Luda fan so I walked through a few terminals to check this place out during a recent long layover. The service was okay but I only saw one waitress serving almost a full restaurant. So it really wasn't her fault they were understaffed. The prices were ridiculous (par for the course in an airport) so I just ordered a beer and a side of the Mac & cheese. It took forever to come but I had time to waste, so I just scrolled on my phone waiting. I was pleasantly surprised at how such a small serving made a big impact in my mouth. It was really good! I make my own and mix several types of cheeses, too. I want to try their wings now that I'm over the sticker shock. So that will be my mission the next time I'm in the ATL airport.

I just wanna give a shout out to my server BJ he was very kind answered all of my questions and gave excellence Service. I ordered the chicken and waffles as well as a side of the garlic tater tots. Those tater tots were delicious the garlic butter that is put on them reminds you of the garlic butter that you eat with seafood. The chicken wings surprisingly were cooked very well and seasoned too perfection. I think the waffle was good as well. Very light not dense and everything taste great I have four stars instead of five because of the price, but I realize it's airport food so you're definitely going to pay more but overall, it was very good.

We visited chicken and beer during a layover in ATL. We wanted some soul food so we were supper excited when we found this on the airport directory. The restaurant is super fun with the music videos and art work celebrating the rapper/artist Ludacris. We both ordered the wing platter with Mac&Cheese, Greens, and tater tots and each entree comes with cornbread. Our food was fresh and came out rather quickly. Our server was attentive and friendly. Everything was perfect, I would definitely return it if I have a longer layover.

Ludacris' Chicken & Beer absolutely lived up to the hype! From the moment we walked in, the service was excellent--friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The ambiance was very relaxing and welcoming! The fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside, incredibly juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor in every bite. The catfish sandwich was a great hit too. The batter was very well seasoned and fish arriving hot! And let's talk about their house-made hot sauce--wow. It's bold, perfectly balanced, and honestly to die for. It takes the chicken to a whole other level. If you're a fan of great comfort food done right, this place is a must-visit. Can't wait to come back!

Airport food but this one is definitely a step up. Had breakfast here waiting on a flight. Chicken and waffles. Chose the thigh over the breast or wings. Super tasty and the chick was fried to perfection. Service was stellar and the dining room was nice, updated and fresh. Definitely one of the better choices at ATL Airport.

Ludacris' Chicken + Beer absolutely delivered. From the moment we sat down, the vibe was on point -- great ambience, welcoming energy, and attentive service that made the whole experience feel effortless and enjoyable. Our server was superb -- friendly, knowledgeable, and perfectly timed without ever hovering. I ordered the chicken plate with wings, mac and cheese, and collard greens -- every single thing was so good. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the mac and cheese was rich and comforting, and the collards were flavorful and cooked just right. My friend had the shrimp and grits, and they were creamy, savory, and beautifully balanced -- definitely a must-order. Drinks were just as impressive. I had the espresso martini (smooth, not too sweet, and dangerously good), and my friend ordered an Old Fashioned that was strong, well-crafted, and exactly what you want in a classic cocktail. And the little touches made it even better -- they even brought out hot towels to wipe our hands afterward, which felt like such a thoughtful, elevated touch. Great food, great drinks, great service, and a perfect atmosphere -- this place hits all the marks. We'll absolutely be back.

Absolutely loved this stop at the Atlanta airport for lunch! The wait staff was super friendly and I got seated right away. My server was awesome and was smart and helpful. The restaurant is simple, clean and doesn't feel cramped at all. I ordered the fried chicken plate with two sides. The boneless thighs were tasty and so crunchy. I had the Mac & cheese and rosemary tots as sides. All so delish! This is a great airport stop and I def recommend!

Beercode, I am not sure you know how lucky you! If all the reviews have not hipped you, than nothing will. But at least here's one more review to solidify what I think so many are saying! Hands-down Tanika delivered one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a very long time. Even before I made it to the counter, I was already being greeted with menu in hand, all while she was still handling drinks for other customers. Where in 2026 do you see that kind of awareness and multitasking ... not too many places! So needless to say, I was impressed right off the bat! Although the crowd was very steady, she never missed a step! Composure, efficiency, and engagement all wrapped up in one really made this place about the service she was providing more than the beer or the food, (although the beer was good too)! I did not have a chance to order food, but it could have come to the table burnt to a crisp and Tanika would have made me feel like that was the best burnt crispy meal I've ever eaten. Thanks for letting me know that there are still a few of us who believe in the "golden era" of hospitality and customer service, it's just too easy to be a great host, server, bartender, etc. to make sure your guests are having the kind of experience that makes them want to return! I loved that I didn't feel rushed or overlooked, but actually valued! This will be a stop every time I am in this airport, so if Tanika is not there, someone has some very BIG shoes to fill!

Fries should always be served hot off the press and these were not. The chicken wings were also not hot for an order I just placed. They were tangy, but nothing special. The blue cheese was also a bit lacking in blue cheese. I suspect they don't drop the orders fresh and have the fries and chicken under a heat lamp to keep up with orders and travelers who may be in a hurry. The wings were not hot and not extra crispy.
